Abstract

The problem in this study is the low performance of badminton elementary school students in the Pembangunan Padang city which is likely due to the low basic technical skills of badminton. The purpose of this study was to know concretely about the basic technical skills of badminton owned by elementary school students in the Pembangunan Padang city. This type of research is classified into descriptive research. The population in this study were all students of elementary school students in the Pembangunan Padang city totaling 14 people, the entire population in this study was used as a sample. The instrument used to collect data in this study was to use basic technique tests to play badminton consisting of service, lob and smash. Analysis technique using descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that: (1) Most elementary school students in Pembangunan Padang City had the ability to serve in the less category. (2) Most elementary school students in Pembangunan Padang City have the ability to lob in the less category. (3) Most elementary school students in Pembangunan Padang City have the ability to smash in good categories. (4) Most elementary school students in Pembangunan Padang City have basic badminton technical skills in the medium category.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah kurangnya aktivitas gerak yang dilakukan oleh para siswi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran Penjasorkes pada tingkat Sekolah Dasar di Kenagarian Air Bangis Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Kurangnya aktivitas gerak dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran Penjasorkes tersebut kemungkinan disebabkan oleh rendahnya status gizi siswa. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat status gizi siswi di Sekolah Dasar yang berada di Kenagarian Air Bangis Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV dan V Sekolah Dasar kelas yang ada di Kenagarian Air Bangis Kabupaten Pasaman Barat dengan jumlah 168 orang yang terdiri dari 7 Sekolah Dasar. Teknik penarikan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sehingga sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 59 orang. Data dikumpul melalui pengukuran berat badan dan tinggi badan dan menggunakan rumus Indeks Masa Tubuh (IMT). Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus persentase. Dari hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa sebagian besar status gizi siswi sekolah dasar di Kenagarian Air Bangis Kabupaten Pasaman Barat berada pada kategori normal dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 46 orang dengan persentase sebesar 77.97%.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam pengabdian ini adalah rendahnya pemahaman dan pengetahuan pelatih klub sepakbola di Kenagarian Air Bangis Kecamatan Sungai Beremas Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan pengetahuan pelatih klub sepakbola di Kenagarian Air Bangis tentang penyusunan program latihan serta menyusun dosis latihan.Pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini pengabdi akan melihat perbedaan pemahaman sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pelatihan yang diberikan kepada pelatih sepakbola di Kenagarian Air Bangis. Populasi dalam kegiatan ini adalah seluruh pelatih sepakbola yang ada di kenagarian air bangis kabupaten pasaman sumatera barat yang berjumlah 34 orang. Teknik penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling yaitu hanya pelatih yang berada di Jorong Pasar Baru dan Jorong Pasar Pokan sehingga sampel dalam pengabdian ini berjumlah 17 orang. Untuk mengetahui besaran peningkatan pemahaman pelatih, peneliti memberikan pertanyaan multiple choice yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan.Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan terhadap jawaban para pelatih sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan sebagai berikut: terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap pengetahuan dan pemahaman pelatih tentang penyusunan program latihan di Kenagarian Air Bangis Kecamatan Sungai Beremas Kabupaten Pasaman Barat Provinsi Sumatera Barat.

Abstract

Tes dan Pengukuran, merupakan bagian yang tak terpisahkan dalam berbagai kegiatan manusia, demikian pula halnya dalam kegiatan pelatihan olahraga. Karena dengan melaksanakan hal tersebut kita dapat mengetahui perkembangan dan kekurangan, sehingga akhirnya dapat membuat suatu keputusan yang tepat. Setiap pelatih akan memberikan latihan fisik sesuai dengan cabang yang digelutinya. Oleh sebab itu, dalam memberikan latihan fisik pelatih harus mengetahui bagaimana peningkatan kemampuan fisik atlitnya sedangkan bagi pemain dapat mengetahui keadaan fisiknya sendiri dengan melaksanakan tes dan pengukuran kondisi fisik. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah masih belum memiliki kemampuan dalam melaksanakan tes dan pengukuran kondisi fisik yang baik dan benar. Mitra yang dilibatkan dalam kegiatan ini adalah Pelatih dan pemain sepakbola Air Bangis. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini adalah melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu tahap pertama adalah pelatihan. Tahap yang kedua memberikan pendampingan dalam pelaksanaan tes dan pengkuran secara langsung. Dan yang ketiga adalah evaluasi dari tahap kedua. Hasil yang diperoleh setelah pelatihan ini adalah pelatih dan pemain sepakbola Air Bangis memiliki kemampuan dan pengetahuan dalam melakukan tes dan pengukuran kondisi fiisk khususnya bagi cabang sepakbola.

Abstract

Abstract

In the education curriculum in Indonesia, physical education is a medium for developing the potential of student learning outcomes in a comprehensive (cognitive, affective, and psychomotor) and sustainable manner. However, at the same time, teachers have not maximized analytical thinking supplements in learning and mastering student movements to optimize their physical education learning outcomes. This research used quantitative methods to examine the effect of analytical thinking skills on student learning outcomes. The participants were 24 elementary school students (mean age = 10.17+0.38) who were determined using a purposive sampling technique. Data on thinking skills were collected using instruments and rubrics for assessing analytical thinking skills. While the learning outcomes data use the final value of physical education learning. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and simple linear regression analysis. Descriptive analysis showed that students' analytical thinking skills were moderate (58.34%), and learning outcomes were good (100%). There is a significant influence between analytical thinking skills on student learning outcomes (t = 2.312, α = 0.031) with a determination value of 19.6%. Considering the essence of analytical thinking skills for learning outcomes and supporting students' life skills, the orientation of physical education learning outcomes parameters and the comprehensive and sustainable integration of analytical thinking into students' physical activities must be discussed further.

Abstract

Evaluation in physical education provides information about the extent to which physical education objectives have been achieved and ensures that all processes have been carried out correctly. This study aims to investigate trends in evaluation research in physical education based on the Scopus database from 2013 to 2023. This is expected to provide an overview of the latest developments in evaluation research in physical education and to illustrate future research opportunities. Based on a search of the Scopus database through the Publish or Perish application with two title words, "Evaluation in Physical Education" and "Evaluation in PE," 50 articles were found suitable for analysis using VOSviewer visualization. The analysis results show that the most publications on evaluation in physical education occurred in 2021, with nine articles. Meanwhile, the highest citation amounted to 122 citations in 2020. Based on the analysis that has been carried out using VOSviewer, it is obtained that the term "Evaluation in Physical Education" or "Evaluation in PE" is still rarely discussed in academic literature; therefore, research on evaluation in physical education in the future has the potential to be carried out as an effort to ensure the quality of physical education learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an academic integrity scale to help lecturers evaluate the academic integrity of university students with peer-assessment learning experiences using the ADDIE research and development method. Twenty-four items were designed using the concepts of academic integrity; honesty, trust, fairness, respect, responsibility, and courage validated by six raters and tested on 520 students from various universities in Indonesia. Testing content validity using the Aiken-V formula, construct validity testing using discriminant indexes, factor analysis (Exploratory and Confirmatory Factor Analysis), and concurrent validity testing by correlating PAAIS-24 with the developed Academic Integrity Scale. While the reliability test used Cronbach's alpha formula. The study results proved that each item of content validity meets with an Aiken value >0.80; on construct validity testing, the discriminant index value is >0.50, and the EFA and CFA loading factor values are >0.50. In addition, the model is appropriate because the theoretical model of PAAIS-24 is in accordance with empirical data. Whereas in reliability testing, Cronbach's alpha value is 0.95. Lastly, PAAIS-24 is one of the credible instruments. Abstract

  Background: Higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) are 21st-century thinking skills needed by students to survive the demands of the current era. However, the problem is that teachers often do not optimally include HOTS in the lesson plan and the implementation of learning. Research Objective: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between the teacher's skill in preparing HOTS lesson plans and the teacher's performance in applying them to physical education. Methods: This type of research is correlational using two research variables: the teacher's skills in preparing HOTS lesson plans and teaching performance. The participants were 28 physical education teachers (men = 21, women = 7) who participated in the Teacher Professional Education Programme at Universitas Negeri Padang in 2022. The HOTS lesson plan data and teacher teaching videos were taken from the documented performance test results (PDF files and teaching videos). Data analysis used regression with the help of SPSS version 25. Findings/Results: The results showed that α < 0.05 (0.007) with a regression value of 2.923 means that the teacher's skills in preparing HOTS lesson plans are positively determined by their performance in teaching HOTS to students. The contribution made by the teacher's ability to prepare HOTS lesson plans to teacher teaching performance is 24.70%. Conclusion: Teachers who can prepare a good HOTS lesson plan can provide a guarantee for their HOTS teaching performance. Thus, the more detailed the teacher formulates the goals, objectives, activities, media, and HOTS assessments, the more it helps them determine their teaching performance that encourages their students' HOTS.

Abstract

Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) are skills that are needed by students in the 21st century. Therefore, lecturers need to develop HOTS through the learning process. However, this effort cannot be carried out optimally because there is no instrument to measure students' HOTS, especially in badminton learning that has met the standards of validity and reliability. The purpose of this research is to develop HOTS instruments in badminton learning. This research is classified as development research (R&D) involving nine validators as assessors and 39 students as test subjects. The instrument consists of three indicators: analyzing, evaluating and creating. Data analysis used Aiken V, ICC, Pearson correlation and Cronbach's alpha. The results stated that 17 HOTS items in badminton learning were valid and reliable.
