Abstract

Online batik shopping often results in buyer dissatisfaction due to discrepancies between product descriptions and the actual items received. Static images and text on e-marketplace platforms are insufficient to convey the intricate details of batik designs, leading to mismatches in customer expectations. To mitigate this issue, Live Streaming Commerce (LSC) features, such as those on Shopee Live, allow sellers to showcase products in real-time, providing more accurate representations. However, sellers face challenges in managing overwhelming volume of comments during live streams, making it difficult to prioritize important queries. LYFY, a comment management app developed to streamline these interactions, aims to address this problem by improving the quality of interaction between live streamers and prospective buyers through filtering important comments. This study examines the determinants affecting the adoption of LYFY by online batik vendors. The research integrates the Task-Technology Fit (TTF), Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), and Expectation-Confirmation Model (ECM) frameworks to evaluate LYFY's performance in fulfilling user requirements. Data were collected from 243 respondents with LSC experience, and the research model underwent evaluation through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The measurement model exhibited high reliability and validity, with values surpassing the suggested thresholds, thereby providing solid support for subsequent analysis. Key factors such as TTF, confirmation, perceived usefulness, ease of use, and satisfaction were examined to determine their impact on user adoption. The analysis revealed that TTF has the strongest influence on confirmation, perceived usefulness, satisfaction, and individual performance. Additionally, perceived ease of use and confirmation substantially influence continuance intentions and satisfaction. These results suggest that enhancing LYFY's task-technology fit and simplifying its user interface are crucial for improving user satisfaction and adoption. By addressing these areas, LYFY can better support live stream sellers, reduce product expectation discrepancies, and improve overall customer experience, particularly in the online batik market.

Abstract

Live streaming has emerged as an essential tool for e-commerce, allowing sellers to engage with potential customers in real-time. However, the massive influx of comments during these sessions often includes a mix of useful product-related queries and irrelevant or distracting messages, which can overwhelm the presenter and reduce the effectiveness of the stream. In this paper, we propose LyFy, a browser-based extension designed to filter live chat messages and provide personalized product recommendations in real-time, specifically applied in Batik e-commerce to support the preservation and promotion of this unique cultural heritage of Indonesia. Our system uses a combination of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning models to identify relevant comments, group similar queries, and offer product suggestions based on viewers' interests. We demonstrate the effectiveness of this system through a prototype implementation and evaluate its performance with qualitative feedback from streamers and users. The evaluation results indicate high user satisfaction, with over 51% of respondents rating LyFy as highly effective and 52% as highly efficient, making it a valuable tool for enhancing e-commerce live streaming interactions.

Abstract

Food is a necessity that is needed by anyone. One way to obtain food is to cook. Many people choose to cook their own food, even more so during the Covid-19 pandemic which caused cooking preferences to increase. One of the things used when cooking is recipes. Recipes need to be saved for easy reuse. Hence built a food recipe collection app that helps store recipes on mobile devices. The application is built on iOS. To find out the problems and needs in recipe saving, interviews were conducted, and problems were found regarding separated storing location and diverse storing format, limited search capabilities on current saving method, time-consuming input processes, and disturbing automatic-lock on device. Analysis of similar applications were also conducted and found shortcomings related to the flow and application interface. Based on these results, the application is designed with two main features, namely recipe storage and cooking mode. In recipe storage, users can add, change, and delete recipes. Once a recipe is saved, users can view a list of saved recipes, view recipes by category, and search for recipes by title. In cooking mode, users are given a checklist to prepare ingredients and then given a step-by-step. Application development uses the Swift programming language, with Swift User Interface to build the app's interface. Application data is stored locally using Core Data. Testing of application implementation results is carried out using alpha test and beta test. Alpha tests are performed using black-box test, to ensure the accuracy of inputs and outputs of various application functions. The beta test is done by conducting application trials and interviews with cooks to ensure application usability and to obtain feedbacks from users. Based on the test results, all functions in the application run as expected and this application helps users save food recipe collection.

Abstract

Final Project is a scientific project that is structured based on the application of science and technology. For now, information about the final project can be accessed on the e-learning website. However, several problems were found in the use of e-learning as a source of information regarding the final project. For example, information regarding the final project must be re-uploaded every year even though there is a course that is similar to the final project course in the previous semester. Departing from the problems above, lecturers at the Faculty of Information Technology, Ciputra University finally made new innovations. The innovation is to build a static website to access information about the final project. The website uses Google Sites. This study uses the TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) analysis method. The author conducted a survey about the website usage to the students in the Program from the class of 2016 to 2019. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. Purposive sampling was used in this study because the researchers needed specific respondents, namely SIFT students who had taken the final assignment course. This study uses the regression model to analyze the relationship between intention to use and other constructs in the adoption of e-learning as an information portal for the Final Project. Researchers use the regression model on the adoption of e-learning and google sites. The model gets a value of 0.852 and 0.905 respectively.

Abstract

Abstract

UD. Sinar Mas is a distribution company selling chemicals. UD. Sinar Mas records transactions using methods that are still manual or traditional. Where is the transaction method at UD. Sinar Mas also has several kinds of transaction systems such as receivables, debts, and there is also a barter sales of jerry cans, customers bring their own drums, or leave the drums with UD. Sinar Mas. The recording method in UD transactions. Sinar Mas, namely recording supplier names, recording customer names, sales transaction dates, purchase transaction dates, maturity dates. Because many transaction systems are recorded, it causes user errors such as missing notes, viewing the due date as well as errors in recording the due date when to collect debts, then how much customer debt remains, whether the goods have been sent by the customer or not, wrong mention of the price to a particular customer , an incorrect calculation of the amount sent is sometimes too less or too much, where the most fatal is the incorrect mention of the price to the customer because there are several customers whose prices are differentiated because of certain cases such as customers who have subscribed for a long time and also the remaining stock counting system which is still manual using approximate method so that it cannot produce a definite stock. The method that will be used for solving the problem is by creating an IOS-based application to help record transactions in UD. Sinar Mas. The result of this application is in the form of a cashier application that can record expenses, income and others. The purpose of this research is to help UD companies. Sinar Mas to record transactions more easily. From this problem, the author's solution is to design and design an iOS-based POS application. The POS application is made on the iOS platform because the owner of UD. Sinar Mas uses iOS as the main device. To save the data will be stored in SQL. The test is carried out using the UMUX method. The results of the test can be concluded that the resulting score is quite good. However, in the application test, there were a few obstacles, such as users experiencing confusion when pressing buttons and so on. Apart from that it runs pretty smoothly.
