Abstract

Maintenance management is required and has a very vital role for a KRI types FPB57, considering the type KRI is one Alutsista Navy who have a high frequency activity, as well as the broad range of operations support capabilities are varied so that the automatic machine is also high activity and in the end reliability will decrease. Methodology Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) is a widely recognized tool for the study and analysis of the reliability of the design or process. Many authors in the field have emphasized specifically the usefulness of this method and its limitations. At this writing considering the lifetime of the machine and the elements therein specifically the components of the water coolant pump has had a lifetime of more than 20 years, because it can be said that the components have entered a critical period. Based on the steps Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) through the calculation of Risk Priority Number (RPN), so we can determine the critical components of acquired 9 of 19 chances damage that has critical component is Angular Bearings, Cylindrical Bearings, Spacer Ring, Water Seal, shaft Seal, Seal Slip Ring, Impeller, O'Ring and shaft. These components if damaged can lead to engine breakdown. From the optimization results indicate that the component replacement Cylindrical Bearings have the fastest time, ie 98 days. While the replacement of components with the longest time, which is a component Impeller 134 days. Besides obtain the most optimal replacement time of each component, also produced the cost of replacement is effective, it is proved by the value of the optimal CBR. CBR value for all types of components is less than 1 (CBR <1).Keywords : FMECA, Risk Priority Number, Reliability, Replacement Intervals,CBR.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Rolling motion is important role in the stability of the ship. Predicting the motion of a ship design must be done to see the design performance. The magnitude of the resulting motion response will affect the comfort and safety of personnel and materials in the ship. For this reason, simulation and analysis rolling and pitching prediction are carried out when the ship is operating, with and without the addition of a free surface tank (FST) as a stabilizer system with variations in the FST base height, water volume, boat velocity, heading direction and the waves. The prediction of ship motion in this research is ushing shipmo software and to assess operational feasibility, the general criteria standard issued by NATO STAGNAG 4154 (US. Navy) and US Coast Guard. From the simulation results it was found that increasing the height of the FST base from the base line decreases rolling motion. At a height of 4 m the maximum response magnitude below the allowable standard is 3,365 deg, while at a height of 3 m above the allowable standard that is 4,734 deg. The addition of FST and variations in placement of the FST base height from the base line did not significantly affect the pitching motion of the ship. Heading direction, waves and operational speed of the ship need to be considered to get the minimum rolling motion response when the ship is operating. Abstract

ABSTRACT PT PAL Indonesia (Persero) is one of the strategic defense industries that produces Main Weapon Systems (Alutista) especially for the Indonesian Navy, and has a strategic role in supporting the development of the national marine industry. One of the benchmarks for the success of a new shipbuilding project is the length of time to complete both the stages of the production process and the entire project in addition to cost and quality of work. Therefore, research was conducted to optimize the planning of the production process time for a new shipbuilding project by creating a project network, looking for critical activities, and calculating the project duration. The method used to analyze costs and time is the critical path method, by accelerating the duration of activities that are on the critical path, then calculating changes in project costs that occur due to acceleration. The research objective with this critical path method is to determine the time and cost of the project and what activities are included in critical activities. In addition, it is also to control and coordinate various activities so that the project can meet the right timeframe and can also help companies plan and control projects in a more efficient time and cost. From the results of the analysis of project calculations during the initial conditions with normal working days without using overtime the company spent Rp. 1,963,108,000. Critical activities in initial conditions with 870 days for completion time conditions are accelerated by 710 days (total acceleration 160 days) with 16 critical trajectories covering 34 work activities where all activities enter critical trajectories. The difference between the initial working conditions and the accelerated conditions was 160 days. The new ship building project in the electrical system can be accelerated for 160 days at an additional cost of Rp. 3,525,214,127. Keywords: Shipbuilding project, Critical Path Method, Acceleration of time, and costs.
