Abstract

Munculnya gerakan sosial baru di ranah ruang virtual merupakan kajian menariksetelah Rheingold (1993) mencoba merumuskan konsep masyarakat virtual. Gerakan sosial baru saat ini mulai masuk di ruang publik virtual sebagai ruang berbagi untuk publik. Artikel ini akan menganalisis seberapa jauh gerakan sosial baru memasuki ruang publik virtual khususnya pada kasus Satinah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa ruang virtual telah mampu menjadi ruang publik bagi masyarakat untuk mempertahankan diri serta melakukan perlawanan melalui aktivitas kolektif warga yang digerakkan oleh aktor-aktor tertentu.

Abstract

Kumpulrejo Village becomes the priority of Salatiga City in the sustainable village development based on the local potential of agrotourism. Kumpulrejo holds potential in livestock farming, nearly 80% of the population are dairy farmers. Suboptimal institutional capacity of the Livestock Farmer Groups in managing potentials results in problems regarding sustainable village development program in Kumpulrejo. The community’s social capital is expected to significantly affect the Livestock Farmer Groups’s institutional capacity strengthening. The present study aims to find out the affect of social capital on the institutional capacity strengthening with regard to argoturism-based sustainable village development in Kumpulrejo. The method that used was quantitative-descriptive, data obtained from questionnaires, observation, and interview. The sampling technique used by simple random sampling, to the 60 respondents. The study showed that social capital which consist of a trust, social network, and norms significantly affect to the institutional capacity strengthening by 57,9%. Partially, a trust did not hold significantly affect, while social network and norms significantly affect the institutional capacity strengthening of livestock farmer groups in Kumpulrejo Village.

Abstract

The issues of Christianization in Salatiga become the other side from a city that presumed was peacefully plural place. Begin from Salatiga impression as a Christian city because of the alleged huge housing Christian worship, The Christian domination in Salatiga cause of the largest Christian university faith-based local that lifted up named Satya Wacana Christian University, Until a long cases related to land disputes in Salib Putih at year end 2007 involving two groups of full of ambition on behalf of Islam and Christian that making the issue continues to roll in speculation without clarification. This research aims to analyze how Salatiga’s moslem perception in defining the issues and factors that affect the perception. In order to refine the analysis in the fields of communication, this research also uses the concept of Coordinated Management of Meaning to understand the construction of the perception being created every informant. The results showed that the tendency of perception lies in the context of the majority and minority. The difference lies in the perception is factors among people (informant) , factors on the object of perception, and the factors on the situation. The factors that influencing informant itself is attitudes, interests, and experiences. Factors that influence the perception of an object is the movement, size, and proximity. Abstract

Onecubed is an evangelism television program focused on youth in Indonesia. This program produced by CBN (Cahaya Bagi Negeri) and broadcasted by GlobalTV, an Indonesia television channel. CBN has a vision that this program can effectively evangelized the youth in Indonesia, at the same time, Global TV aims to reach a high rating by broadcasting such programme. In reality, evangelism programme doesn’t give much rating. By knowing this information this research made in Van Djik crtitical analition. Based on this information, this research aimed to understand the construction of evangelism television programme by analizing the texts provided in to youth. Related themes during june-juli 2012. Van Dijk critical discourse analysis method is being used to explore the construction structure and its meaning. This findings of the study provide explanations on the formation of youth evangelism programme in Indonesia, that give perspectives to understand media relations (media power) in the context of political economy of media. This study also underlined the importance of youth evangelism television  programme as a “serious” programme that can not be underestimated, eventhough its been frawed with entertainment approaches. Keywords: Youth Televangelism in Indonesia, Critical Discourse Analysis, Political Economy of  Media, Cahaya Bagi Negri (CBN).

Abstract

Susi Pudjiastuti is part of Jokowi-JK Cabinet that became controversial because of her profile and policy. She is women ministry that having tatoo, smoker and only graduated from junior high school, on the other side her policy to sinking and burst illegal ship which steal fish in Indonesia ocean make some pro-contra. This research are focuses on how online media construct Susi’s profile and policy on 3 popular online media detik.com, kompas.com and antaranews.com using Pan Kosiscki framing analysis model.The result showed that each media has their own way to construct Susi’s news. Detik.com describe Susi as a succses entrepreneuer without high education and her policy to burst illegal ship is legal to do it. Kompas.com describe Susi as a “nyentrik” minister and she still burst illegal ship altough created pro-contra. Abstract

Village is the smallest administrative area in Indonesia that has an autonomous government and is given the authority to manage all government affairs (Law No. 6 of 2014) regarding villages. Jekawal Village receives village funds to prioritize, its use in increasing empowerment and dealing with unexpected disasters, such as Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose is determine the priority of village fund-spend in improving community and emergency respon’s village to Covid-19 pandemic era in 2020 fiscal year. This study used a qualitative-descriptive method. Techniques of data collections are from observation, interviews, and literature study. This research is analising to data reductions, data presentations, and found the conclusions. The research’s use structural-functional theory "AGIL" from Tallcot Parsons. And the results are shows that each village received village funds, that is Jekawal village that the village funds were prioritized for community empowerment and emergency response to village in the Covid-19 pandemic era.Keywords: Priority Of Village Funds Spend, Community Development, Covid-19 Emergency Response. AbstrakDesa merupakan wilayah administrasi terkecil di Indonesia yang memiliki pemerintahan otonom dan diberikan kewenangan untuk mengurusi mengatur semua urusan pemerintahan (Undang-Undang No. 6 tahun 2014) tentang desa. Desa Jekawal mendapatkan bantuan dana desa untuk memprioritaskan penggunaan dalam meningkatkan pemberdayaan dan menangani bencana yang tak terduga, seperti saat ini di era pandemi covid-19. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui prioritas penggunaan dana desa dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat dan tanggap darurat desa di era pandemi covid-19 tahun anggaran 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif-deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi kepustakaan. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian membuktikan setiap desa mendapatkan dana desa salah satunya Desa Jekawal dimana dana desa dalam prioritas penggunaan untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat dan tanggap darurat dana desa di era pandemi covid-19 dengan penggunaan teori struktural fungsional “AGIL” dari Tallcot Parsons.Kata Kunci : Prioritas Penggunaan Dana Desa; Pemberdayaan Masyarakat; Tanggap Darurat Covid-19.

Abstract

This paper discusses the political communication strategy used by two political figures from the 2021 Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle, Puan Maharani and Ganjar Pranowo. This study describes the political communication strategy of using billboards by Puan Maharani's support group and social media by Friends of Ganjar Pranowo. The benefit of this research is not only to provide the latest information or knowledge in social science studies but also to be a new point of view that comes from efforts to explore political communication in carrying Indonesian presidential candidates to compete in the 2024 presidential and vice-presidential elections. 2022 to 2024 will be a political year where the Covid-19 pandemic is still hitting Indonesia. The use of every media, be it conventional media or new media in the 5.0 era, became the main point in achieving the goals of political communication for each political party figure or cadre. Each existing media has its own strengths and weaknesses. The right political strategy and message will determine the achievement of political communication.

Abstract

The issue of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals or SGDs as stated in Government Regulations No. 59 of 2017, still reaping various problems related to the position of the Regional Government which is not actively involved in the implementation of the SDGs and is not fully supported by stakeholders. It is necessary to conduct action research with a Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach. Through surveys and data mining through FGDs related to potentials and problems, the objectives of sustainable development can be identified in order to realize a sustainable village. The results showed that of the 17 SDGs, only 12 SGDs could be implemented at the district level, while the rest were the responsibility of the bureaucrat at the local government level. The potential that can support the achievement of SDGs in Kumpulrejo village is to rely on livestock business, especially cattle.

The occurrence of a moral crisis in adolescents in Indonesia is increasing. Film is a medium that is easily accessible by the public, so.thatpit.will make.itpeasier.for messages to be channeled properly. However, sometimes the audience only enjoys the storyline and visuals, thus ignoring the message contained in thelfilm. Abstract

Jurnal ini mengkaji afiliasi terhadap gerakan Black Lives Matter (BLM) dengan menggunakan teori konstruktivisme. Temuan utama yang disajikan dalam tulisan ini adalah bagaimana Pengaruh gerakan BlackLivesMatter (BLM) terhadap kehidupan masyarakat Afro-Latinx di Amerika Serikat 2016-2021. Sejarah gerakan BLM merupakan respon atas kematian dua remaja kulit hitam, Trayvon Martin dan Michael Brown, yang keduanya tidak bersenjata dan ditembak serta dibunuh. Yang paling terkenal terjadi tahun ini, kematian George Floyd atas tindakan brutal polisi dengan menekan leher korban dengan kakinya hingga Floyd meninggal. Temuan penting kedua adalah bahwa organisasi-organisasi BLM berupaya untuk membingkai gerakan ini sebagai perjuangan untuk hak-hak individu, terutama bagi masyarakat yang memiliki ras Afro-Latinx.
