Abstract

Event study is an activity to observe the information impact of a phenomenon on the prices of securities to observe the stock performance in this research. This study was aimed to analyze the differences in the average of abnormal return and trading volume activity before and after 10 days the election even announced the new president on May 2019. the method to determine the sample in this study is purposive sampling number from 30. The technique to analyze the data is paired sample t-test. This research finds out that there are different average abnormal returns before and after the announcement of the president election in 2019, while there is no difference in the trading volume of activity before and after the announcement of the president election.

Abstract

This study aim to determine priorities in the management of coastal areas in Pasar Banggi, Rembang Regency. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) used to prioritise coastal area management strategy. A total of 15 people were taken as a sample of respondents using purposive sampling consisting of fishermen, coastal community leaders, the Department of Fisheries and Marine Affairs, the Department of Culture and Tourism, the Department of Environment and Academics. The results show that in managing the coastal area at Pasar Banggi, Rembang Regency, the main factor that must be considered is the environment (Ecology) with the most important aspects including mangrove ecosystems, coral reefs, and fish resources. While overall (overall) shows that the priority scale of criteria and alternative management of coastal areas in Pasar Banggi, Rembang Regency with AHP in order of priority is Silvofishery, Ecotourism and Artisanal Fisheries. Thus, the Silvofishery development strategy becomes a top priority in the management of coastal areas in Pasar Banggi, Rembang Regency. Silvofishery is fish farming in the mangrove ecosystem area without having to convert or damage the mangrove ecosystem so that the sustainability of the mangrove ecosystem is maintained.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan prioritas dalam pengelolaan Kawasan pesisir di Pasar Banggi Kabupaten Rembang. Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP) digunakan untuk menentukan prioritas dalam pengelolaan kawasan. Sebanyak 15 orang diambil sebagai sampel responden dengan menggunakan purposive sampling yang terdiri dari nelayan, tokoh masyarakat pesisir, Dinas Perikanan dan Kelautan, Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata, Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dan Akademisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam mengelola Kawasan pesisir di Pasar Banggi Kabupaten Rembang faktor utama yang harus diperhatikan adalah lingkungan (Ekologi) dengan aspek yang paling penting diantaranya ekosistem mangrove, terumbu karang, dan sumberdaya ikan. Sedangkan secara secara keseluruhan (overall) menunjukkan bahwa skala prioritas kriteria dan alternatif pengelolaan wilayah pesisir di Pasar Banggi Kabupaten Rembang dengan AHP dengan urutan prioritas adalah Silvofishery, Ecotourism dan Artisanal Fisheries. Dengan demikian strategi pengembangan Silvofishery menjadi prioritas utama di dalam pengelolaan wilayah pesisir di Pasar Banggi Kabupaten Rembang. Silvofishery merupakan budidaya ikan di Kawasan ekosistem mangrove tanpa harus mengkonversi atau merusak ekosistem mangrove sehingga keberlanjutan ekosistem mangrove tetap terjaga.

Abstract

Knowledge about consumers is the key to planning a marketing strategy in the company, the customer can be the most valuable asset so the company needs to maintain and create equity. The development of technology is very rapid from the development of new product markets to meet the increasing needs of society as well. business people lead to the establishment of many shopping facilities that offer services and facilities that make it easier, then this can attract consumers. Impulsive buying and unplanned buying by some researchers are not differentiated. Semuel, (2005) does not distinguish between unplanned buying and impulsive buying but gives important attention to researchers, customers must focus on the interaction between point of sale with buyers who are often ignored. Personal selling is a form of individual communication where a salesperson deals directly with potential buyers and tries to influence them to buy their products or services. Hedonic shopping according to Semuel (2005) reflects an instrument that directly presents the benefits of experience in spending, such as pleasure, new things. Multiple Linear Regression Analysis is used to analyze the effect of several independent or independent variables (X) on one dependent or dependent variable (Y) together.

Abstract

This articles aims to understand the practice of empowerment through assistance to salak farmers. The study includes 60 salak fruit farmers which are taken as the samples. Descriptive analysis is used to analyze the obtained data from the study. The research result shows that most respondents have the relative low level of empowerment. The empowerment level from business aspect explain that most of the respondent (73%) are never and could not got the financial assistant to develop their business. Likewise, it could be happen in the technological access, most of the respondent (56,7%) explain that in the production process the technology that used is base on traditional and hereditary. So, it is depend on labour relieves when the production and harvest process. Furthermore, the research shows that a low level of a capability to access the market information. It could be seen that most of the farmers (38,3%) directly selling their product to the consumers and 33,3% sell their product to the broker. The empowerment from non economic aspect could be seen from the low ability of lobbying aspect, like the asking for a relieves from their colleagues at the local government officer (10%), financial institution like cooperation, bank and etc (25%), society figures (32,1%), employees (32,1%), non government institution/ academision (10%) and a families (93,3%). To empower the farmers in order to make them sustainable, it is necessary to built a partnership by empowerment strategy. The empowerment strategy that involves industry as the farmers’ partner is carried out to improve the empowerment of the farmers of salak fruits.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi praktek pemberdayaan melalui pendampingan petani buah salak. Sebanyak 60 orang petani salak diambil sebagai sampel. Analisis deskriptif telah digunakan untuk menganalisis data dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar masyarakat di daerah penelitian mengaku pada saat panen melimpah harga jual buah salak sangat rendah. Tingkat keberdayaan dari Aspek Usaha menunjukkan bahwa dalam mengakses kredit sebagian besar responden (73%) menyatakan tidak pernah atau tidak mampu mendapatkan kredit untuk pengembangan usahanya. Demikian juga dalam megakses teknologi sebagian besar responden (56,7%) menyatakan bahwa dalam melakukan proses produksi berdasarkan turun-temurun dimana teknologi dalam melakukan produksi bersifat tradisonal dan menggunakan insting, sehingga masih tergantung adanya bantuan dari orang lain pada saat terjadi masalah baik dalam proses produksi maupun pada saat panen. Selajutnya kemampuan dalam mengakses informasi pasar menunjukkan rendah yang dapat dilihat dari pemasaran hasil panen sebagian besar (38,3%) dijual langsung ke konsumen dan kepada tengkulak (33,3%). Tingkat keberdayaan dari aspek non-ekonmi yang dilihat dari kemampuan lobbying menunjukkan masih relative rendah, seperti keberhasilan dalam meminta bantuan kenalannya di Pemda sebsar 10%, lembaga keuangan seperti koperasi, bank, dan lain sebagainya sebesar 25%, tokoh masyarakat sebesar 32,1%, pengusaha sebesar 32,1%, akademisi/LSM sebesar 10% dan saudara 93,3%.  Untuk meningkatkan keberdayaan petani agar mampu menjalankan usahataninya secara berkelanjutan serta meningkatkan nilai tambah, diperlukan adanya kemitraan yang dapat dilakukan melalui Strategi Pemberdayaan.

Abstract

Human resources (HR) are one of an organization's most important assets that contribute to the success and growth of an organization. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of competency, job satisfaction and organizational commitment on employee performance, the mediating role of organizational commitment and job satisfaction on the relationship between competency and employee performance. The object of this research was the Tegal Regency Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Service (DPMPTSP). The sampling technique was carried out with a saturated sample of 43 people. SEM-PLS analysis was used to analyze data using SmartPLS. The research results show that competency and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Competency has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Meanwhile, job satisfaction has no effect on employee performance. Organizational commitment is able to act as a mediator in the relationship between competency and employee performance. Employees who have good competence feel more confident and feel successful in doing their work so that they can increase positive feelings towards their organization which encourages increased organizational commitment through maximum effort in doing their work. However, job satisfaction is not able to mediate the relationship between competency and employee performance. If employee satisfaction is lacking, it can result in employees being less enthusiastic about doing their work.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational justice on employee innovative work behavior with knowledge sharing as mediation. The population in this study were employees of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Pasuruan Branch Office as many as 75 employees. The sampling technique used in this study is saturated sampling or census. Data analysis was performed with SEM-PLS. The results showed that organizational justice and knowledge sharing had a positive and significant effect on employee innovative work behavior of BPJS Employment Branch Office Pasuruan employees. Organizational justice has a positive and significant effect on knowledge sharing. Knowledge sharing mediates the relationship between organizational justice and employee innovative work behavior

Abstract

Good organizational performance not only helps organizations achieve competitive advantage but also creates a healthy, innovative and growth-oriented environment. The aims of this study were: (1) to analyze the influence of human resources management on organizational performance, employee competency and organizational commitment; (2) analyzing the effect of employee competence and organizational commitment on organizational performance; (3) analyzing the role of mediating organizational competence and commitment to the relationship between human resources management and organizational performance. The object of this research is the Staffing and Human Resources Development Agency of Tegal Regency. Sampling is done by census or saturated sample of 50 employees. Structural Equation Modeling – Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis was used to analyze data using SmartPLS 4. The results showed that HR management had a positive and significant effect on organizational performance, employee competency, and organizational commitment. Employee competence and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on organizational performance. Employee competency and organizational commitment are able to mediate the relationship between Human Resources Management and Organizational Performance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence behavior intention for and use behavior of the Jamsostek Mobile application with a focus on the variables of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, habit, and perceived trust. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling so that 160 respondents were obtained. The results showed that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, habit, and perceived trust have a positive and significant effect on behavioral intention. Behavioral intention has a positive and significant effect on use behavior. Behavioral intention is able to mediate the effect of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, habit and perceived trust on use behavior. User characteristics such as gender, age, education level, occupation, and length of membership play an important role in determining the active user base of the Mobile Social Security application, with specific demographics dominant among active users.

Abstract

Social media, especially Instagram, has become an effective marketing tool for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to reach a wider market. This study aims to identify the role of Instagram in expanding the market reach of coffee commodity MSMEs in Dusun Sirap, Semarang Regency. With a qualitative approach, this study involved in-depth interviews with MSME actors, analysis of Instagram upload content, and literature studies. The results of the study show that Instagram plays a significant role in increasing product visibility, building interactions with consumers, and creating brand loyalty. The strategy of using Instagram features such as Reels, Stories, and Instagram Ads also makes a major contribution to expanding market reach.

Abstract

Smallholder fishermen make a significant contribution to food security and are an important pillar of economic and social welfare for coastal communities. This study aims to analyze the welfare level of small-scale fishermen in Pemalang Regency based on material, relational, and subjective perspectives. The sample in this study was 95 captured fishermen who were taken using accidental sampling. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive methods and indices calculated based on three perspectives: material, relational, and subjective. The results show that the welfare level of smallholder fishers in Pemalang Regency is generally in the medium category. Fishermen with a low welfare level amounted to 4.2%; fishermen with a medium welfare category amounted to 82.1%; and fishermen with a high welfare category amounted to 13.7%. These findings highlight the importance of holistic and sustainable policy interventions to improve fishermen’s welfare. Several strategies that can be implemented include improving access to capital, skills training, supporting infrastructure development, and strengthening social networks. Through this comprehensive approach, it is expected that the welfare of smallholder fishermen in Pemalang Regency can be significantly improved, so that smallholder fishermen can contribute more to economic and social development in the region.
