Abstract

The intended farm building complex is to be able to breed livestock and process livestock products so that they can meet the consumption needs of the people of Merauke City. The aim of the Center for Animal Husbandry and Processing of Livestock with the Green Architecture approach is to produce designs that minimize the adverse effects on the environment, nature and humans and produce a better and healthier place of life, which is carried out by utilizing energy and natural resources efficiently and optimal so that it does not adversely affect the surrounding environment. This study uses descriptive analysis method, where data and analysis obtained can be used as a reference in designing the Center for Animal Husbandry and Processing of Livestock Products in Merauke Regency. The results of this study are to design a center for animal husbandry and processing of livestock products with a site area of ​​37,500 m2. Existing facilities include; (1) Managing office, (2) Cage for livestock, (3) Office of cage officers, (4) Processing facilities, (5) Animal health rooms, (6) Slaughterhouses. Kata-kunci: Desain Bangunan., Peternakan., Hasil Ternak., Arsitektur Hijau.

Abstract

The results of Susenas (National Social Economic Survey) which conducted by BPS in 2017 show that there are stillaround 44.79 percent of households in the Papua Province that occupy uninhabitable homes. One of the criteria foruninhabitable homes is the structure of the type of wall that is of low quality (not walls). The high percentage above issuspected because the low level of population welfare is reflected in the high poverty rate in 2018 as 27.74 percent in thePapua Province. This study aims to determine the percentage of households in the Papua Province that occupy buildingswith types of walls not walls and the factors and the level of tendency. The method used is descriptive analysis andlogistic regression analysis. The results showed that there were 74.72 percent of households in the Papua Provinceoccupying buildings with types of walls not walls. Even 100 percent of households in eight districts in the Papua Provinceoccupy buildings with the same wall character. While the results of logistic regression analysis showed that the variablearea of residence, education of the head of the household and the field of business of the household head affecthouseholds occupying buildings with types not walls.

Abstract

The Treehouse is a work of Nusantara Architecture which is gaining in popularity in Papua, inhabited by two large Boven Digoel tribes namely the Korowai Tribe and also the Kombay Tribe. The Kombay Tree House is situated on a strong old tree with three layers of flooring, wooden walls and roofing material made of sago leaves. To assemble the house, a strong rattan rope is used. Behind that, Nusantara Architecture has a challenge that is accelerating development in the name of modernization. Behind modernization there are challenges for the preservation of the Tree House. For this reason, studies need to be carried out to explore the potential contained in the Treehouse so that the Treehouse should always be preserved. The purpose of this study is to analyze the categorization of the potential level of preservation of Treehouses using conservation criteria and explore the potential of tourism types of Treehouses. The results showed Treehouses have a category of high level of potential conservation. For tourism potential that can be further developed are educational tourism, nature tourism, and cultural tourism. This research is inductive exploratory research using descriptive-analytic survey method with observation and interviews also evaluative method.
