Abstract

Not a few Covid-19 patients have died while undergoing self-isolation (isoman) at home. According to data obtained from the Sempaja Timur Village, there were 533 patients who underwent isomanism and 15 of them died. Lack of assistance while undergoing isoman causes the patient's condition to worsen and end in death. This community service aims to increase the knowledge of isoman patient companion volunteers with the hope that the safety of isoman patients in Sempaja Timur Village can be improved. This activity was attended by 20 volunteers who were chosen by the head of the RT in Sempaja Timur Village. The method used consists of four stages, namely the stage of situation analysis, planning, preparation and implementation. The assessment instrument uses a questionnaire. The training materials include information about Covid-19 including case tracking, volunteer protocol and isoman protocol. The results of the evaluation showed the average value of pretest knowledge was 67 (SD 10,848) and the average posttest score was 79,20 (SD 7,797). Thus there is an increase in volunteer knowledge after training by 12.20. Suggestion: Volunteer training needs to be carried out on an ongoing basis including post-covid handling so that symptoms that arise after recovering from covid can be detected and treated immediately.   ABSTRAK Tidak sedikit pasien Covid-19 meninggal dunia saat menjalani isolasi mandiri (isoman) di rumah. Menurut data yang diperoleh dari Kelurahan Sempaja Timur terdapat 533 pasien yang menjalani isoman dan 15 orang diantaranya meninggal dunia. Kurangnya pendampingan saat menjalani isoman menyebabkan kondisi pasien yang semakin memburuk dan berakhir dengan kematian. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan relawan pendamping pasien isoman dengan harapan keselamatan pasien isoman di Kelurahan Sempaja Timur dapat di tingkatkan. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 20 orang relawan yang dipilih oleh ketua RT di Kelurahan Sempaja Timur. Metode yang digunakan terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu tahap analisis situasi, perencanaan, persiapan dan pelaksanaan. Instrument penilaian menggunakan kuesioner. Materi pelatihan meliputi informasi tentang Covid-19 termasuk pelacakan kasus, protokol relawan dan protokol isoman. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan   nilai rata-rata pengetahuan pretest adalah 67 (SD 10,848) dan rata-rata nilai posttest adalah 79,20 (SD 7,797). Dengan demikian terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan relawan relawan setelah pelatihan sebesar 12,20. Saran: Pelatihan relawan perlu dilakukan secara berkesinambungan termasuk penanganan pasca covid agar gejala-gejala yang timbul setelah sembuh dari covid dapat segera terdeteksi dan dapat segera ditangani.

Abstract

There are various factors that cause incomplete documentation of nursing care, including the motivation and workload of nurses. This study aims to determine the relationship between motivation and workload of nurses with the completeness of nursing care documentation in the inpatient room of RSUD Dr. Abdul Rivai Berau District. This research is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. the number of samples is 40 people, the sampling technique is total sampling. The instrument used was a Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis techniques Univariate analysis with frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using the Fisher's exact test. The results of the analysis found that motivation with the completeness of nursing care documentation had a p value = 0.394 (p => 0.05), and the workload of nurses with the completeness of nursing care documentation p value = 1.000 (p = > 0.05) . So it can be concluded that there is no relationship between motivation and workload of nurses with the completeness of nursing care documentation in the internal room of RSUD Dr. Abdul Rivai Berau District. It is expected that nurses can maintain the completeness of their nursing care documentation.

Abstract

Hospital services focus on treatment so that it demands caring behavior in the implementation of quality nursing care. The impact of nursing services due to job satisfaction is manifested in the form of service quality. This study aims to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and length of service with caring behavior of nurses. This type of research is analytic observational with a Speaman rank with a significance level of 0.05. cross sectional design with a total sample of 67 nurses taken purposively. The average nurse's tenure was 12.79 years, the average nurse's job satisfaction was 55.477, and the average nurse's caring behavior was 77.940. There is a fairly strong relationship between job satisfaction and caring behavior of nurses (Sig = 0.000; Correlation = 0.448), and there is a low relationship between length of service and caring behavior of nurses (Sig = 0.004; Correlation = -0.344).

Abstract

The elderly people in East Kalimantan at 60-74 years is 4.56% from total population. The number of elderly people at Samarinda estimated in 3.3% from 988,943 total population. (DKK Samarinda, 2015). The elderly people mostly decreased in the musculoskeletal system that caused by decrease of muscle mass. Range of motion exercises are carried out regularly can increase muscle strength in clients who has impairment or limited motor function. This study aims to determine the effect of active ROM to increasing limb muscle strength in the elderly people at UPTD PTW Nirwana Puri, Samarinda. This research used quasi experiment design with pre and post test without control design. Research respondents were 12 elderly people. Data collection techniques are measurement, observation and documentation techniques. Active ROM is carried out 3 times a week with duration 30 minutes for 2 weeks. Data was analyzed using wilcoxon test. The results of this study was indicate that there have differences between muscle strength before and after ROM intervention, the right upper extremity with p = 0.01, upper left extremity with p = 0.03, lower right extremity with p = 0.02, left extremity below the value of p = 0.01. This study demonstrated effectively of active ROM intervention in increasing limb muscle strength in the elderly people. The expectation that the results of this study can be used be standard operating procedure in providing nursing care for the elderly.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Meningkatkan kasus Covid-19 pada tahun 2020 berdampak pada semua lini kehidupan. Ditahun yang sama WHO mengumumkan Covid-19 sebagai pandemi. Hal tersebut berdampak pada sesehatan jiwa dan psikososial. Adanya aturan pembatasan sosial dan isolasi mandiri bagi pasien Covid-19 menyebabkan meningkatnya kecemasan. Oleh karena itu dukungan psikososial sangat diperlukan bagi pasien Covid-19. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan relawan Covid-19 dalam memberikan dukungan psikososial pada pasien Covid-19 yang diikuti oleh 15 relawan. Metode yang digunakan terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu melakukan kajian situasi, meyusun rencana, persiapan kegiatan dan pelaksanaan.  Intervensi yang diberikan pada relawan yaitu edukasi berupa penyuluhan, diskusi dan simulasi. Untuk mengukur pengetahuan relawan menggunakan kuisioner yang diberikan pre dan post. Hasil uji wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa terjadi perbedaan pengetahuan relawan sebelum dan sesuah intervensi. Pengetahuan relawan dalam dukungan kesehatan jiwa dan psikososial pada orang sehat dengan p value 0,003 dan bagi pasien covid p value 0,001 serta dukungan sosial pencegahan stigma p value 0,004. Kesimpulan: Terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan pada relawan dan antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan. Saran: Dukungan psikososial dapat diberikan secara terus menerus kepada orang sehat maupun sakit (OTG, ODP dan PDP) sehingga mampu memulihkan trauma psikologis akibat Covid-19.

Abstract

Complaints of dissatisfaction with wound care services cannot be separated from the quality of the staff's services. Unfriendly service and less responsiveness from staff to patient complaints causes patient satisfaction levels to decrease and makes patients reluctant to return to the hospital. The research aims to determine the relationship between the quality of wound care services and the level of patient satisfaction. The research design is descriptive correlation with a cross-sectional approach. The research was conducted in March - April 2022 with 42 respondents. The statistical test used is Chi-Square. The research results showed that the quality of wound care services was in the sufficient category (59.5%) and the level of patient satisfaction was in the moderate category (59.5%). There is a relationship between wound care services and the level of patient satisfaction at Harapan Insan Sendawar Regional Hospital, West Kutai with pValue = 0.002. There is a need to improve excellent service to patients regardless of patient status.   Abstrak Keluhan ketidakpuasan terhadap pelayanan perawatan luka tidak lepas dari kualitas pelayanan petugas. Pelayanan yang tidak ramah dan kurang tanggapnya petugas terhadap keluhan pasien menyebabkan tingkat kepuasan pasien menurun dan membuat pasien enggan kembali ke rumah sakit. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kualitas pelayanan perawatan luka dengan tingkat kepuasan pasien. Desain penelitian adalah deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Maret – April 2022 dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 42 orang. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan perawatan luka berada pada kategori cukup (59,5%) dan tingkat kepuasan pasien berada pada kategori sedang (59,5%). Terdapat hubungan pelayanan perawatan luka dengan tingkat kepuasan pasien di RSUD Harapan Insan Sendawar Kutai Barat dengan pValue = 0,002. Perlu adanya peningkatan pelayanan prima kepada pasien apapun status pasiennya.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Mother and Child Hospital “Fatimah” Lamongan with a scope of marketing which consists of service quality variables (X1), Infrastructure (X2) and patient satisfaction (Y). The study uses quantitative method. The population is the inpatients of the Mother and Child Hospital “Fatimah” Lamongan which will then be selected as the research sample. The data collection technique used a questionnaire and the sampling technique used probability sampling, with a random sampling technique and 98 patients were selected as samples. It uses primary data obtained directly from the respondents. The data obtained have tested the validity and reliability using SPSS software. The analysis of hypothesis testing used multiple linear regression analysis techniques and the results obtained that the quality of services and infrastructure have a significant effect on patient satisfaction inpatient care at the “Fatimah” Lamongan Mother and Child Hospital, while the variable infrastructure has a dominant influence on inpatient satisfaction.

Abstract

Discharge planning merupakan suatu proses mempersiapkan pasien untuk mendapatkan kontinuitas dalam perawatan dan mempertahankan derajat kesehatannya sampai pasien merasa siap untuk kembali ke lingkungan keluarganya, (Yaslina, dkk., 2019). Leaflet dapat berisi keterangan atau informasi tentang perusahaan, produk, organisasi, dan jasa yang bertujuan untuk informasi umum. (Fitriah,2018). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan discharge planning dengan media leaflet terhadap kesiapan pulang pasien jantung di RSD dr. H. Soemarno Sosroatmodjo. Penelitian quasi-experimen design, desain penelitian pre tes and post test control group desain. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pasien jantung yang dirawat di RSD dr. H. Soemarno Sosroatmodjo. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, Jumlah sampel adalah 20 orang. Diperoleh hasil bahwa sebelum intervensi discharge planning, dari 10 responden kesiapan pulang siap dan tidak siap sama banyak sebanyak 5 orang (50%). Sesudah intervensi penerapan discharge planning sebagian besar kesiapan pulang siap sebanyak 8 orang (80%) dan kesiapan pulang tidak siap sebanyak 2 orang (20%). Diperoleh hasil bahwa sebelum pada kelompok kontrol, dari 10 responden sebagian besar kesiapan pulang tidak siap sebanyak 6 orang (60%) dan kesiapan pulang siap sebanyak 4 orang (40%). Sesudah pada kelompok kontrol sebagian besar kesiapan pulang siap dan tidak siap sama banyak sebanyak 5 orang (50%). Diperoleh hasil bahwa dari 10 responden, sebanyak 3 orang meningkat sesudah intervensi discharge planning dibandingkan sebelum pemberian intervensi. analisis : menggunakan uji independent t tes. Terdapat pengaruh kesiapan pulang antara pasien yang diberikan discharge planning dan discharge planning dengan media leaflet dan tidak.

Abstract

Data di RSD dr. H. Soemarno Sosroatmodjo tentang kepatuhan hand hygiene tahun 2020 rata-rata sebesar 77,1% dan tahun 2021 rata-rata perbulan sebesar 76,51% (target 80%). Tujuan umum penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kepatuhan perawat dalam melakukan hand hygiene di RSD dr. H. Soemarno Sosroatmodjo Tanjung Selor. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan studi analitik dan desain cross- sectional. Populasi berjumlah 209 orang yang tersebar dari 11 unit ruang perawatan. Sampel sebanyak 137 orang menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Menunjukkan ada hubungan antara pengetahuan, masa kerja, motivasi dengan kepatuhan. Responden dengan pengetahuan baik sebanyak 104 responden (75,9%) diperoleh nilai p-value 0,049, masa kerja > 2 tahun sebanyak 119 responden (86,9%) diperoleh nilai p-value 0,008, motivasi baik sebanyak 42 responden (30,7%) diperoleh nilai p-value 0,040. Tidak ada hubungan antara sikap dan supervisi kepala ruang dengan kepatuhan, hasil penelitian bahwa sebagian besar responden memiliki sikap baik 86 responden (62,8%) diperoleh nilai p-value 0,083, supervise kepala ruangan baik sebanyak 124 responden (90,5%) diperoleh nilai p-value 0,377. Analisis yang digunakan analisis chi square. Ada hubungan antara pengetahuan, masa kerja dan motivasi dengan kepatuhan perawat dalam melakukan hand hygiene, sedangkan variabel sikap dan supervisi kepala ruangan tidak berhubungan dengan kepatuhan perawat dalam melakukan hand hygiene.
