Abstract

This study examines the “Cek Khodam” phenomenon on TikTok by analyzing its construction in online media discourse and its implications from an Islamic legal perspective. Existing studies on digital culture tend to emphasize virality and user engagement, while limited attention has been given to how mystical digital content is framed in the media and evaluated through Islamic jurisprudence, indicating a significant research gap. This research employs a qualitative approach using library research, with data drawn from online news articles published in Indonesian media during June–July 2024. The study applies Robert N. Entman’s framing model to explore how the phenomenon is defined, interpreted, and morally evaluated in digital narratives. The findings reveal that “Cek Khodam” is framed as both entertainment and controversy, reflecting the commodification of spiritual beliefs in digital culture. From an Islamic legal perspective, the phenomenon raises concerns related to gharar, deception, and unverifiable spiritual claims. These practices can be critically examined through sadd al-dharī‘ah and contradict the objectives of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah, particularly in preserving intellect and faith. This study contributes by integrating media framing analysis with ushul fiqh, offering a novel framework for regulating digital religious content.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to improve mathematics teachers' competency in developing valid objective questions oriented toward Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The activity was conducted at SMAN 1 Wondama, using a participatory and contextual mentoring approach. The main challenge faced by the partner school was teachers' limited understanding of how to design assessment instruments that systematically measure students' higher-order thinking skills and align with the characteristics of mathematics learning. The activity's implementation methods included needs analysis, reinforcement of HOTS concepts, assistance in developing questions, and joint evaluation and reflection. The results of the activity showed an increase in teachers' understanding and skills in developing HOTS questions, demonstrated by the development of example objective questions at levels C4 to C6 with contextual stimuli and clear indicators. This activity resulted in the development of question writing guidelines and examples of HOTS questions ready for use in learning. Thus, this community service activity directly contributed to improving the quality of mathematics assessment and learning at the partner school.

Abstract

Pengembangan kemampuan berpikir komputasi pada mahasiswa, khususnya bagi calon pendidik, semakin meningkat seiring dengan tuntutan abad ke-21 yang menekankan pada kemampuan berpikir logis, sistematis, kritis, dalam menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir komputasi mahasiswa dalam memecahkan masalah kontekstual pada sistem persamaan linear yang dimodelkan melalui desain pola jaringan lalu lintas. Kemampuan berpikir komputasi dianalisis berdasarkan empat indikator utama: dekomposisi, pengenalan pola, abstraksi, dan berpikir algoritmik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan empat mahasiswa jurusan matematika program studi pendidikan matematika reguler dan pendidikan matematika ICP (International Class Program) Universitas Negeri Makassar sebagai subjek yang dianalisis berdasarkan jawaban tertulis mereka terhadap masalah pemodelan jaringan lalu lintas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa mampu menerapkan keempat indikator berpikir komputasional dalam memecahkan masalah, meskipun tingkat kedalamannya bervariasi. Beberapa mahasiswa mampu secara sistematis memecah masalah, mengenali pola keseimbangan, membangun model matematika dalam bentuk sistem persamaan linear, dan menyusun langkah-langkah penyelesaian secara berurutan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir komputasional perlu terus dikembangkan, terutama bagi mahasiswa pendidikan sebagai calon pendidik, karena pola berpikir logis, sistematis, dan terstruktur penting untuk diterapkan dalam memecahkan berbagai masalah dan ditanamkan pada siswa di sekolah. Oleh karena itu, dosen diharapkan membiasakan siswa untuk menerapkan dan mengimplementasikan kemampuan berpikir komputasional dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian lebih lanjut disarankan untuk menguji keterampilan berpikir komputasional dalam mata kuliah lain atau program studi di luar bidang pendidikan untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang lebih komprehensif tentang penerapan keterampilan ini dalam pendidikan tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model based on 4C skills (critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication) on the mathematical literacy skills of high school students. This study is motivated by the low mathematical literacy skills of students and the need for learning that integrates 21st-century skills. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design through a nonequivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of 63 students divided into two groups, namely 32 students in the experimental class taught using the PBL-4C model and 31 students in the control class taught with conventional learning. The research instrument was a mathematical literacy ability test given in the form of a pretest and posttest. The results of the hypothesis test using the independent sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.003 <0.05, so H₀ was rejected. In addition, the magnitude of the learning model's influence was included in the high category with an effect size value (Cohen's d) of 1.08. Thus, it can be concluded that the PBL-4C model had a significant and effective effect in improving the mathematical literacy skills of students of SMAN 1 Wondama.

Abstract

. In Lapandan Village, Makale District, tempeh entrepreneurs such as Jeslyn Tempeh Business face various challenges in maintaining and developing their business amidst increasingly dynamic changes in consumer preferences. One of the main problems faced is the lack of a structured marketing strategy based on consumer data, so that the tempeh products offered are less attractive to the wider market. In addition, product promotion is still carried out conventionally through limited distribution channels without the use of digital media and without paying attention to the characteristics of the target market segment. The type of research used SWOT analysis in this study is used to identify internal and external factors that influence the development of the tempeh business, as a basis for developing a strategy based on consumer preferences. The results of the study Based on the SWOT analysis, the IFAS value of 3.56 and EFAS of 3.36 places Jeslyn Tempeh Business in Quadrant I (SO-Aggressive Strategy), which means it has high strengths and opportunities. The most appropriate strategy is to utilize internal strengths to capture external opportunities, through product innovation, digital promotions, expansion of distribution networks, and partnerships with local business actors. The SO strategy is the primary choice for increasing business growth and competitiveness, as it strengthens Tempe Jeslyn's market position and supports the sustainable development of local food

Abstract

Murabahah contracts play an important role in opening access to financing for groups that have long been marginalized by the conventional banking system. Thus, this contract not only strengthens the halal ecosystem but also provides religious legitimacy and a sense of security for small business actors. Nevertheless, several obstacles such as low financial literacy, high operational costs, and weak financial records among microenterprises remain challenges that need to be addressed. Driving factors such as regulatory support for sharia, the rise of Islamic financial literacy, and public trust in micro-sharia institutions reinforce the sustainability of murabahah practices. The strategies implemented by BTH Makassar ranging from member segmentation, integration of social funds, business mentoring, digitalization of services, to regular monitoring demonstrate an orientation that is not only financial but also social. Murabahah at BTH Makassar emerges as a financing model capable of integrating religious, social, and economic aspects. It becomes an effective instrument of halal financial inclusion, strengthening the competitiveness of microenterprises while simultaneously building a sharia economic ecosystem that is more just, sustainable, and resilient.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilaksanakan untuk mengintegrasikan unsur‐unsur budaya Bugis–Makassar ke dalam pembelajaran matematika, khususnya pada materi trigonometri bagi siswa Madrasah Aliyah DDI Baru Baru Tanga. Selama ini trigonometri dianggap abstrak dan sulit dipahami siswa karena kurangnya pendekatan kontekstual yang dekat dengan pengalaman budaya mereka. Melalui program ini, tim pelaksana mengimplementasikan konsep etnomatematika dengan menggunakan objek budaya lokal seperti struktur rumah panggung Bugis, kemiringan tangga tradisional, bentuk layar perahu pinisi, serta pola ukiran kajang sebagai media pengenalan konsep perbandingan trigonometri. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi workshop, demonstrasi, praktik lapangan, penyusunan LKPD berbasis budaya lokal, dan evaluasi pemahaman siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman konsep dasar sinus, cosinus, dan tangen, serta meningkatnya ketertarikan siswa dalam mempelajari matematika melalui media budaya mereka sendiri. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan sikap positif terhadap pembelajaran karena merasa budaya daerahnya dihargai dalam kegiatan belajar. Program PkM ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi etnomatematika Bugis–Makassar efektif dalam memperkuat pemahaman konsep abstrak trigonometri sekaligus menumbuhkan rasa identitas budaya pada peserta didik.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis merupakan kompetensi penting yang harus dimiliki siswa, khususnya dalam menghadapi seleksi Olimpiade Sains Nasional (OSN) yang didominasi oleh soal non-rutin. Namun, pada praktiknya, siswa sekolah dasar masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami dan menyelesaikan masalah yang menuntut penalaran tingkat tinggi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa sekolah dasar calon peserta OSN melalui penerapan strategi heuristik berbasis masalah non-rutin. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan terstruktur yang meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan pelatihan mencakup pengenalan strategi heuristik, latihan terbimbing, latihan mandiri, serta diskusi dan refleksi. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test serta analisis proses penyelesaian masalah siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa, baik secara kuantitatif maupun kualitatif. Siswa menjadi lebih mampu memahami masalah, merancang strategi penyelesaian, serta mengevaluasi hasil secara sistematis. Selain itu, terjadi perubahan pola berpikir siswa yang lebih fleksibel dan reflektif dalam menghadapi soal non-rutin. Dengan demikian, pelatihan strategi heuristik berbasis masalah non-rutin efektif dalam mendukung pembinaan siswa sekolah dasar calon peserta OSN serta dapat menjadi alternatif pendekatan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

Students’ readiness in facing the Seleksi Nasional Berdasarkan Tes (SNBT) is a crucial factor in determining their success in entering higher education. However, many students still lack optimal readiness, both in cognitive and non-cognitive aspects. This community service activity aims to improve students’ readiness through a program of socialization and strategic mentoring. The method used consists of preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The implementation includes SNBT socialization, strategic mentoring through guided practice and problem discussion, test simulation (try out), and motivation and mental strengthening sessions. Evaluation was conducted using questionnaires and observations to measure changes in students’ readiness levels. The results indicate a significant improvement in students’ understanding of the SNBT system, problem-solving skills, time management, self-confidence, and mental readiness. This program proves to be effective in enhancing students’ readiness comprehensively. Therefore, structured and continuous mentoring programs are recommended as a strategic effort to prepare students for higher education entrance examinations. Abstract

Keterbatasan akses pembiayaan perbankan masih menjadi salah satu kendala yang dihadapi pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM), terutama akibat rendahnya literasi keuangan dan lemahnya administrasi usaha. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesiapan pelaku UMKM dalam mengakses pembiayaan perbankan di Desa Barisallo, Kabupaten Gowa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Capacity Building-Based Financial Access Model (CB-FAM) yang meliputi tahapan needs assessment, financial literacy strengthening, business feasibility coaching, dan outcome evaluation. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai produk pembiayaan perbankan, persyaratan pengajuan pembiayaan, pentingnya legalitas usaha, serta pencatatan keuangan sederhana. Kegiatan ini juga mendorong peningkatan kesiapan pelaku UMKM dalam memenuhi aspek kelayakan usaha yang dibutuhkan untuk memperoleh akses pembiayaan formal. Dengan demikian, pelatihan yang dilaksanakan mampu memperkuat kapasitas pelaku UMKM dalam mendukung pengembangan usaha yang lebih berkelanjutan.
