Abstract

The spread of the Covid-19 virus which continues to grow and is worrying to date with its increasing number of victims, encourages the Government to continue to take measures to prevent the spread of the Corona virus. One of the government's efforts to prevent COVID-19 is to monitor the health condition of the human body. One of them is detecting the human body temperature, because body temperature with a temperature above a certain limit is one of the symptoms of covid-19. The normal human body temperature ranges from 36 degrees to 37 degrees. However, for the current situation related to the corona virus pandemic, temperatures above 37 degrees have become temperatures that must be watched out for. This study aims to make a prototype of a body temperature monitoring system for the prevention of Covid-19 based on Internet of Things (IoT) The prototype designed uses an AMG8833 thermal sensor which will measure a person's body temperature with infrared which can identify a person's health through his body heat and also uses an ultrasonic sensor to measure a person's distance with the thermal sensor. The results of body temperature monitoring can be accessed on the cellphone through the blink application. From the results of the discussion, it was found that the body temperature monitoring system for the prevention of Covid-19 using AMG8833 thermal sensor the based on IoT was successfully designed and implemented in a prototype form. AMG 8833 thermal sensor works well in measuring human body temperature up to a distance of 20 with an average error of 1.18%. The level of accuracy of the body temperature monitoring system using the AMG 8833 thermal sensor is 98.82%.

Abstract

Flood is an event of inundation of land, which is usually dry, by water originating from water sources around the land. Binjai City is an area prone to flash floods. This is because in Binjai City there are 5 (five) upstream rivers namely the Bingei river, Mencirim river, Bangkatan river, Diski river and Rambai river. A flood early warning system is a series of systems that function to notify an impending flood disaster. With the existence of a flood early warning system, it can provide information to the community and can reduce victims or losses due to the community's unpreparedness in dealing with flood disasters. This study aims to create a prototype of a river flood early warning system based on the internet of things (IoT). The method used is to design and create a flood early warning system prototype, then perform system testing. The system is designed using the Arduino Mega2560 microcontroller as the system control center, the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensors and the ESP32-Cam camera module as system input, as well as buzzer, LCD and website as system output. The transmission medium used is wireless via a 4G WiFi Modem connected to the internet. System prototype testing will be carried out in the Bangkatan river area in Binjai City. From the results of the discussion, it was found that the river flood warning system using the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor and the ESP32-Cam camera module based on the Internet of Things was successfully designed and implemented in prototype form and worked well. Ultrasonic sensors work well in measuring river water level with an average error percentage of 3.642%. The ESP32-Cam camera module works well in capturing images of river water conditions up to a distance of 200 cm. (9 pt).

Abstract

Penggunaan panel surya banyak dimanfaatkan masyarakat karena mampu bekerja menyerap energi matahari untuk menghasilkan sumber energi listrik, akan tetapi pergerakan panel surya kearah cahaya matahari masih bersifat manual (dibantu dengan manusia). Sistem terintegrasi Internet of Things bertujuan untuk memantau kerja dari panel surya dengan cara memperlihatkan sistem monitoring jarak jauh yang memanfaatkan jaringan internet. Variabel yang dimonitoring yaitu varibel pergerakan panel surya yang terdiri dari nilai tegangan analog, intensitas cahaya matahari, nilai kemiringan, posisi dan kondisi cuaca panel surya. Pada pengujian sudut pergerakan motor pengaturan derajat kemiringan dapat diatur pada posisi maksimal cahaya matahari. Posisi maksimal didapat sebesar 125o sejalan dengan intensitas cahaya yang didapat sebesar 1680 Lux, menghasilkan tegangan rata-rata sebesar 20,22 V, arus sebesar 2,10 A dan daya sebesar 43,07 W.

Abstract

Energi Nuklir merupakan salah satu energi alternatif yang memiliki kelebihan pada jumlah energi yang dihasilkannya, bahan bakar yang digunakannya dan tidak menghasilkan pencemaran udara. Gas-Cooled fast Reactor merupakan reaktor cepat berpendingin helium yang termasuk dalam reaktor Generasi IV yang memiliki keunggulan dalam segi penggunaan bahan bakar dan keselamatan. Thorium merupakan salah satu bahan bakar nuklir yang bersifat fertile yang jumlahnya melimpah, yaitu empat kali lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan jumlah uranium. Perhitungan kekritisan desain reaktor cepat berbahan bakar thorium nitride (ThN) menggunakan seperangkat program SRAC yang menghasilkan kondisi kritis pada pengayaan uranium-233 sebesar 5% dengan nilai excess reactivity sebesar 0,044% pada fraksi volume 65% fuel, 10% cladding dan 25% coolant dan menghasilkan level burnup 1,93 x 105 MWd/ton. Bahan bakar thorium bisa digunakan sebagai bahan bakar nuklir untuk pembangkit listrik tenaga nuklir dengan waktu burnup 50 tahun.

Abstract

Jelly Kelapa Kampung sub-district owners characterize East Binjai sub-district need a business license to get legality and legal protection from the government. However, Jelly Kelapa Kampung MSME business owners are still minimal in knowledge and mechanisms for making Business Identification Numbers (NIB) through Online Single Submission (OSS). This training activity aims to solve these problems by introducing, increasing knowledge, and assisting MSME owners Jelly Kelapa Kampung in making NIB through the OSS web. The implementation method used has 3 stages, namely socialization, training, and mentoring. The implementation of activities includes the submission of theory, making business licenses, and submitting business legality letters. The result of this activity is that the owner of Jelly Kelapa Kampung MSMEs shows increased knowledge about business legality and business registration into the OSS institution. Thus, MSME owners in Jelly Kelapa village get business protection, easy access to capital, empowerment from the government, and assistance for business development
