Abstract

Ikan lele merupakan salah satu jenis ikan air tawar yang jamak dibudidayakan secara komersial oleh sebagian masyarakat Indonesia. Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh peternak ikan lele adalah tingginya harga pakan pelet ikan dan hal itu mempengaruhi penghasilan. Oleh karena itu membuat pelet sendiri adalah salah satu solusi untuk meningkatkan margin keuntungan. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan rekasaya alat pencetak pelet. Sesuai kebutuhan, tim merancang dan membangun mesin pencetak pelet berkapasitas 200 kg/jam yang  berukuran panjang 90 cm, lebar 50 cm, dan tinggi 80 cm. . Pakan pelet yang dihasilkan berdiameter 4 mm dan dapat terapung di permukaan air. Hasil lain yang sangat penting adalah mitra bisa menghemat biaya pengadaan pelet ikan sebesar 35% setara dengan Rp 5.500.000,- tiap periode panen.

Abstract

Technology is one thing that will continue to develop from time to time, one example of this technological development is found in telecommunications networks. Currently, we are enjoying 4G network technology. However, it turns out that the number of wireless mobile devices and services raises several challenges that cannot be solved by utilizing 4G technology, one of which is the use of spectrum. The presence of fifth-generation technology known as 5G answers challenges that cannot be solved with 4G networks. Its data capabilities are extraordinary and include all kinds of advanced features that make 5G the most powerful technology to serve large service demands.

Abstract

Mitra pengabdian adalah seorang petani jagung penggarap yang memiliki hak garap lahan jagung seluas 1 hektar di kelurahan Kuala Namu. Mitra menjual hasil panennya dalam bentuk tongkol kering. Cara penjualan tersebut dilakukan karena mitra tidak memiliki teknologi pasca panen berupa alat pemipil. Mitra menginginkan dapat menjual hasil panennya dalam bentuk pipilan kering karena harganya lebih tinggi dari pada sekadar tonggkol kering. Hal ini membuat mitra memperoleh hasil penjualan lebih tinggi. Permasalahannya adalah mitra tidak memiliki dan tidak mampu membuat alat pemipil. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan membantu memecahkan masalah mitra dengan membangun mesin pemipil jagung dan selanjutnya menghibahkannya kepada mitra. Setelah mitra dapat memipil sendiri jagung hasil panennya, mitra dapat menjual hasil panen dengan harga yang lebih tinggi. Hasil dari program pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa setelah mitra menjual hasil panennya dalam bentuk jagung pipilan mitra dapat memperoleh keuntungan yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The design of the Solar Panel Test Simulator by means of setting the solar panel placement stand so that the designed tool is able to provide a simulation of solar panel measurements based on actual conditions. The performance of the solar panels is shown through a monitor display placed on the design that will contain information about the solar panels as a whole. Limitations in placing the position of the solar panel will not provide a reference regarding measurement conditions based on the angle of incidence of the sun, so it is necessary to do further design regarding the position of the solar panel when the measurement is carried out. The development carried out in the design of this tool is in the form of setting the solar panel mount in the form of a solar panel mount tilt of 450, 900, 1350, and the distance of the halogen lamp 30cm as the energy source is measured. The measurement results are based on an average design temperature difference of 0.49% with a voltage of 1.55%.

Abstract

The furniture industry is a potential sector to be developed in Indonesia because it is supported by the availability of abundant natural resources in the country. This furniture market opportunity will continue to grow in the future but must be supported by production factors, namely the provision of quality raw materials, capital and skilled labor. However, this industry is not free from problems such as the quality of raw materials. Wood raw materials in Indonesia are abundant but there is no special treatment to maintain its quality, so the quality of production is hampered. Good wood raw materials are raw materials that avoid damage and weathering. To maintain this quality, the ideal requirement for room temperature for storage is 18oC and room humidity 65%. Changes in temperature and humidity in the storage warehouse always follow changes in temperature and humidity around it. For this reason, further studies are needed on the temperature and humidity monitoring system in the storage warehouse and if there are significant changes, a dehumidifier device is used to keep the temperature and humidity in a room stable.

Abstract

This study focuses on the use of halogen lamps in the design of a Solar Test Simulator to simulate sunlight conditions in testing solar panels. Halogen lamps are chosen as the light source due to their ability to approximate the solar spectrum, enabling testing of solar cells in a controlled laboratory environment. However, precise adjustment of halogen lamp light is crucial to ensure the accuracy and consistency of test results. The design of the Solar Test Simulator for Solar Panels involves configuring the placement of solar panels so that the designed tool can provide simulation based on actual solar panel measurements. The performance of solar panels is displayed through a monitor placed in the design, providing comprehensive information about the solar panels. Limitations in the placement of solar panels do not provide reference regarding measurement conditions based on the angle of incoming sunlight. Therefore, further design is needed concerning the positioning of solar panels during measurements. The development in this tool's design includes adjustments to the height of the halogen lamp from the solar panel, specifically at heights of 0.328m, 0.366m, and 0.405m.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini membahas peran Bapak Heriyanto, seorang pedagang kecil di desa Jati Karya, yang menjalankan bisnis penjualan daging ayam potong sejak tahun 2020. Mitra ini menghadapi tantangan biaya transport dan upah pekerja, namun berhasil memperoleh keuntungan bersih sebesar Rp 170.000,-/hari atau Rp 5.100.000/bulan. Pengabdian juga menyoroti potensi peningkatan pendapatan mitra melalui penerapan teknologi tepat guna, khususnya mesin pencabut bulu ayam. Dengan menggunakan mesin tersebut, mitra dapat membeli ayam hidup lebih murah (Rp 15.000/kg), memotong, dan membersihkannya sendiri. Kelebihan dari hasil jeroan juga menjadi faktor peningkatan keuntungan, di mana harga jual jeroan sebanyak Rp 1.200 x 18 ekor ayam = Rp 21.600,-. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan mesin pencabut bulu ayam dapat memberikan tambahan keuntungan sebesar Rp 2.000/kg x 30 kg = Rp 60.000 ditambah Rp 21.600 = Rp 81.600/hari. Tambahan keuntungan dalam satu bulan mencapai Rp 2.430.000,-. Analisis biaya menunjukkan antusiasme mitra dalam mengadopsi teknologi ini untuk meningkatkan profitabilitasnya. Mesin pencabut bulu ayam diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi efektif untuk memperbesar keuntungan mitra. Dengan demikian, pendekatan inovatif ini dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap ekonomi lokal, sekaligus meningkatkan kesejahteraan Bapak Heriyanto dan masyarakat desa Jati Karya secara keseluruhan..

Abstract

Pengabdian Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) di Desa Bangun Rejo, Kecamatan Tanjung Morawa, khususnya pada keluarga mitra Ibu Sismawati, bertujuan untuk membantu mengatasi masalah usaha peternakan lembu. Mitra memiliki 15 ekor lembu yang diberi pakan hijauan berupa rumput. Sebagian lembu dewasa digembala di ladang, sementara yang memerlukan perawatan intensif diransum di kandang. Pemberian rumput dari lahan tegalan warga, yang dicacah dengan parang, kadang dilakukan tidak sempurna karena kelelahan. Sebagai dampaknya, sekitar 20% rumput tidak dimakan oleh lembu, terutama bagian pangkal. Hal ini mengakibatkan serapan hijauan lembu hanya mencapai 80%, menyebabkan keterlambatan pertumbuhan dan penggemukan lembu. Dalam pola pemberian ransum ini, mitra harus menunggu 24-26 bulan agar lembu mencapai bobot layak jual, yang berdampak pada meningkatnya biaya perawatan. Untuk mengurangi biaya perawatan, perlu mempercepat penambahan bobot lembu dengan meningkatkan serapan pakan hijauan mendekati 100%. Tim pelaksana PKM membantu mitra dengan teknologi tepat guna, yaitu alat pencacah rumput. Langkah-langkah kegiatan melibatkan identifikasi masalah, perancangan solusi alternatif, pemilihan solusi tepat, realisasi solusi, dan penerapan pada masalah mitra. Harapan program ini adalah dapat mengurangi biaya produksi, meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga mitra, dan memastikan tidak ada pakan hijauan yang terbuang.

Abstract

In order for the designed tool to simulate solar panel measurements based on real-world conditions, the solar panel placement holder was arranged in a specific way during the design process. A monitor display that is mounted on the design will show the effectiveness of the solar panels and provide general solar panel information. Limitations in the positioning of solar panels will not provide a reference to conditions for measurement depending on the angle of incidence of the sun so further design needs to be done regarding the position of solar panels when measurements are taken. The development carried out in the design of this tool is in the form of adjusting the solar panel holder in the form of a solar panel holder tilt of 0°, 90°, 180°, and a distance of 30 cm halogen lamp as an energy source that is measured. Measurement results based on design, temperature 46°C, and 100% light.

Abstract

A device will be designed as a DC motor rotation speed controller using a hall sensor based on Esp 32. Broadly speaking, this device consists of a DC motor, hall sensor, microcontroller and driver. The purpose of this design is to control the speed of the DC motor by pulse width regulation (PWM) method. The way this tool works is that the microcontroller is programmed to compare the motor rotation speed detected by the hall sensor to the input motor rotation speed and the display data will be displayed in real time via Android or PC. Thus the rotation speed of the DC motor can be controlled as expected. For this reason, this rotation speed control tool can be used for certain purposes, for example in the control process in the industrial world.
