Abstract

Online learning using LMS (Learning Management System) results in demotivation for Lecturers and Students. This study aims to explore the relationship between the contentment of using LMS with the behavioural intentions and user focus while using the LMS. The present study employed the user's perception of using LMS with HMSAM (Hedonic Motivation System Adoption Model) as the theoretical basis. The quantitative research method employed a questionnaire as a data collection method. The collected data were analysed statistically using the PLS-SEM method with SmartPLS 3.2.9 application. The results of the study showed that of the 10 (ten) hypotheses, 9 (nine) were accepted, and 1 (one) was rejected. In particular, the hypothesis indicating excitement affects behavioural intentions using the LMS shows a t-statistic value of 1.887 (t-statistics < t-value) hence being rejected. This study also provides recommendations for LMS development based on usability, curiosity, excitement, and control factors.

Abstract

PT. XYZ still has several problems such as data in the database that is not updated and not all employees are proficient in operating the existing Information Technology system. To ensure IT governance functions properly, our research aims to evaluate the performance of Information Technology governance at PT. XYZ is engaged in the corn cultivation industry and crop yield management, using COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies) 2019 as a model framework. The area used is Delivery, Service and Support, an area that evaluates the provision of information technology services and support, such as not updating database systems, human error, and server down. Respondents in this study depended on the resulting RACI graph. With the implementation of Information Governance Performance Evaluation, PT. XYZ can overcome its deficiencies and understand how to encourage the company's business development through the performance of Information Technology Governance to achieve its business goals. The findings in the form of survey results become recommendations and future recommendations to maximize the performance of IT governance at PT. Untuk memastikan tata kelola TI berfungsi dengan baik, penelitian kami bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja tata kelola Teknologi Informasi pada perusahaan PT. XYZ yang bergerak di bidang industri budidaya tanaman jagung dan pengelolaan hasil panen, dengan menggunakan COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies) 2019 sebagai kerangka model. Area yang digunakan adalah Delivery, Service and Support, area yang mengevaluasi penyediaan layanan dan dukungan teknologi informasi, seperti tidak memperbarui sistem basis data, kesalahan manusia, dan server down. Responden pada penelitian ini bergantung pada grafik RACI yang dihasilkan. Dengan penerapan Evaluasi Kinerja Tata Kelola Informasi, PT. XYZ bisa mengatasi kekurangan yang dimiliki dan memahami bagaimana mendorong pengembangan bisnis perusahaan melalui kinerja Tata Kelola Teknologi Informasi mencapai tujuan bisnisnya. Temuan berupa hasil survei menjadi rekomendasi dan rekomendasi kedepannya untuk memaksimalkan kinerja tata kelola TI pada PT. XYZ.

Abstract

In order to give a seamless transaction, particularly during COVID-19 pandemic, private and public bank institution in Indonesia released digital banking application that is easier to use by smartphone. Nonetheless, there are several complaints from the customer regarding the dissatisfying experience of using digital banking apps. Hence, this research aims to analyze the effect of usability in user experience on customer satisfaction based on 4 variables namely Usefulness, Ease-of-Use, Ease-of-Learning as independent variables, and Satisfaction as a dependent variable on the USE Questionnaire. These variables can be used as references to usability enhancement for digital banking apps to give quality services to customers and be able to compete with competitors. Behavioral Science Research (BSR) is the approach used in this research using the quantitative method. The statistical method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The result of this research shows that 1 out of 4 research hypotheses is rejected (Hypothesis 3) proving that there is no effect of the Ease-of-Learning variable on the Satisfaction variable. However, the value of the t-calculated of Ease-of-Learning variable is 2,478 nearly approach the value of t-table 2,600 showing that this variable is almost capable to give the effect of the Satisfaction variable.

Abstract

In today's all-digital era, the role of technology, namely the Internet, is very influential because all activities can be carried out through cyberspace. All the desired information will be obtained easily and quickly so as to help the movement of society. This information is then poured in a structured and systematic display which is called a website. One website that is known by various groups is https://booking.tngunungmerbabu.org This website is a web-based online service facility provided by Mount Merbabu National Park for tourists who will book tour tickets before visiting tourist sites or climbing. Tourists can register themselves on the system so they don't have to queue and get a quota. However, there are still some problems such as the need to improve website performance which is felt by users. So this study aims to analyze user satisfaction on the Mount Merbabu National Park website using the Webqual 4.0 method based on the dimensions of usability quality, information quality, service interaction quality, and user satisfaction. The research data used 125 data and were processed with SPSS software through validity, reliability, descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the independent variable (X) studied, namely usability quality, information quality, service interaction quality, had a 46.4% influence on the dependent variable (Y), namely user satisfaction, while the other 53.6% was influenced by other factors outside the variables studied. In measurement using a Likert scale it can be seen that the variable quality of usability, quality of information, quality of service interaction and user satisfaction results in "Strongly Agree" and the measurement level of the website www.booking.tngunungmerbabu.org is adequate and very good.

Abstract

Learning Management System (LMS) is an e-learning or online learning media provided by Tadulako University to facilitate interaction between students and lecturers. The purpose of this study was to determine the opinion of students on the acceptance of LMS provided by the University. This study uses the UTAUT 2 model to examine the factors of the LMS (performance expectations, business expectations, social influence, facility conditions, hedonic motivation, habits and behavioral intentions to use). This research was conducted using quantitative research methods. Data analysis using SEM-PLS technique with the help of SmartPLS version 3.29. Validity testing is done by looking at the value on the outer loading, reliability testing is carried out to assess the alpha, composite and AVE methods. This research was conducted by distributing online questionnaires to active students at Tadulako University. The results obtained from this study for testing the validity and reliability were declared valid on each variable because it had an AVE value of more than 0.5, an alpha of more than 0.6 and a composite of more than 0.7. For the results of hypothesis testing in this study 12 hypotheses, 7 rejected hypotheses and 5 accepted hypotheses.

Abstract

There are many theories and methods that can be used to evaluate information systems. For example TAM, Wixom and Todd, DeLone and McLean, etc. These models are not suitable to evaluate information systems that are implemented in mandatory environments where the users have to use the system whether they prefer to use it or not. This study aims to explore the variables that can affect the level of use of SIASAT (Satya Wacana Academic Information System). This research was carried out to find out how significant the influence of the factors that can influence SIASAT users. This study using BSR (Behavioral Science Research) approach with quantitative methods through data collection using questionnaire. For data analysis, statistical analysis was carried out using PLS-SEM through SmartPLS 4 software. Based on the results of the study it can be interpreted that there is a significant relationship between performance expectations and user attitudes in SIASAT usage. This can be seen from the relationship between the variables PE -> AT which has the highest T-Statistic value, 24,877. Variabel with highest effect is the Information Satisfaction variable with an R-Square value of 0.655. Of the eight hypotheses tested, it was concluded that six of them were accepted and two were rejected. This is because the two hypotheses using the Use variable with a Cronbach's Alpha value below 0.7 (0.576) these variables considered unreliable thus two hypotheses are rejected.

Abstract

Salah satu pilar utama atau domain dari pengelolaan teknologi informasi (TI) adalah investasi TI. Oleh karena itu, strategi untuk mengelola investasi TI sangat penting untuk mendukung keberhasilan pelaksanaan pengelolaan TI (IT Governance). Perusahaan perlu mengetahui tingkat kematangan dari manajemen investasi TI yang dapat membantu mengelola investasi TI dengan benar. Penelitian ini melakukan pengukuran terhadap peningkatan level kematangan manajemen investasi TI pada perusahaan BUMN setelah mengaplikasikan studi kelayakan finansial berdasarkan Generic IS/IT Business Values oleh Ranti, pada setiap tahap investasi TI serta meningkatkan struktur organisasi TI dengan membentuk IT steering committee. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa level kematangan manajemen investasi TI meningkat dari level 1 menjadi level 3. One of the key pillars or domains of Information Technology (IT) Governance is IT investment. Therefore, the strategy to manage IT investment is essential to support the successful implementation of IT Governance. Companies need to know the maturity level of IT investment management that can help them managing the IT investment properly. This research measures the increase of IT investment management maturity level of a state-owned company in Indonesia (BUMN) after applying the Financial Feasibility Study based on Ranti's Generic IS/IT Business Values in each IT investment stage as well as improving IT organization structure by forming IT Steering Committee. The result of this study indicates that the level of IT investment management maturity has increased from level 1 to level 3.

Abstract

Students need transportation for their daily activities. However, not all students have a personal vehicle. Therefore, many students rent a vehicle at a rental because it suits their needs and is more affordable. Fortune Rent is a vehicle rental service specialized for students. Fortune Rent's business uses a conventional system with manual recording and payment, thus increasing the risk of transaction recording errors. Therefore, an application is needed that can help record, order, and check vehicle availability to maintain smooth business at Fortune Rent. The development method used is agile development, as it allows team collaboration to work efficiently and make better decisions. The application implementation uses JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. This research resulted in a system that helps Fortune Rent manage vehicle data, record transactions, and make it easier for customers to check availability and order vehicles online.Keywords: Rental; Website; Agile; Information System AbstrakMahasiswa membutuhkan alat transportasi untuk aktivitas sehari-hari. Namun, tidak semua mahasiswa memiliki kendaraan pribadi. Oleh karena itu, banyak mahasiswa memilih menyewa kendaraan di rental karena sesuai kebutuhan dan harganya lebih terjangkau. Fortune Rent adalah layanan rental kendaraan khusus mahasiswa. Saat ini, bisnis Fortune Rent masih menggunakan sistem konvensional dengan pencatatan dan pembayaran manual, sehingga meningkatkan risiko kesalahan pencatatan transaksi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan aplikasi yang dapat membantu pencatatan, pemesanan, dan pengecekan ketersediaan kendaraan untuk menjaga kelancaran bisnis di Fortune Rent. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah agile development, karena memungkinkan kolaborasi tim untuk bekerja efisien dan membuat keputusan yang lebih baik. Implementasi aplikasi menggunakan JavaScript, CSS, dan HTML. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sistem yang membantu Fortune Rent dalam mengelola data kendaraan dan pencatatan transaksi, serta mempermudah pelanggan dalam memeriksa ketersediaan dan memesan kendaraan secara online.

Abstract

The use of information systems that have not been optimal in supporting business processes at the hotel so that it is necessary to improve and optimize the system that has been used at Maleo Hotel in order to improve hotel services and business processes, this study aims to design enterprise architecture by identifying GAPs to develop systems and add systems that are needed, and integrate systems so as to produce a well-integrated system. The method used in this research is TOGAF Framework, as a tool for enterprise architecture design in the Preliminary phase, Business Architecture, Application Architecture, Information System Architecture, Technology Architecture, Opportunites & solutions and Migration Planning owned by TOGAF ADM to produce Information System design and technology in improving service and service management performance and increasing the efficiency of business activities of Maleo Ambon Hotel.Keywords: TOGAF ADM; information systems; architecture enterprise; Hotel AbstrakPenggunaan sistem informasi yang belum optimal dalam mendukung proses bisnis pada hotel sehingga dibutuhkannya peningkatan dan pengoptimalan sistem yang telah digunakan pada Hotel Maleo agar dapat meningkatkan pelayanan dan proses bisnis hotel, Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang arsitektur enterprise dengan cara mengidentifikasi GAP untuk mengemabangkan sistem dan menambah sistem yang diperlukan, serta mengintergrasi sistem sehingga dapat menghasilkan sistem yang terintergrasi dengan baik.
