Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of stress on the job situation of psychological well-being. The population in this study is a honorary teachers in Islamic Elementary School in the City of Tangerang. This study uses a quantitative method with a sample of honorary teachers in Islamic Elementary School in the City of Tangerang amounted to 55 respondents. The sampling technique used was cluster sampling with 55 respondents. This study uses two scale that a scale of psychological well-being and stress scale were arranged by researcher based on the theories of stress advanced by Robbins & Judges (2013), Gibson, Ivancevich, Donelly & Konopaske (2012) and Newstrom & Davis (2002). Test hypothesis in this study using a regression analysis one predictors. Based on the analysis of data, this means that there is influence between stress on the job situation to the psychological well-being on a honorary teacher Islamic Elementary School (MI) in the city of Tangerang. The resulting negative influence, meaning that if the work situation of high stress levels, the levels of psychological well-being will be lower.

Abstract

This research aims to find the relationship between gratitude and teacher well-being for teachers who teach in inclusive elementary schools. The research method used is quantitative with descriptive analysis techniques and correlation analysis. The sample in this study was 185 inclusive elementary school teachers obtained by purposive sampling technique. The gratitude variable was measured using The Gratitude Questionnaire-Six Item Form (GQ-6) developed by McCullough, Emmons, and Tsang (2002) and the teacher well-being variable was measured using the Teacher Well-Being Scale (TWBS) developed by Collie et al. (2015). The results of the correlation analysis show that there is a significant relationship towards positive gratitude with teacher well-being for teachers who teach in inclusive elementary schools. The positive relationship between gratitude and teacher well-being is defined as the higher the gratitude, the higher the teacher well-being of teachers who teach in inclusive elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to research determine the effect of emotional intelligence against teacher efficacy in elementary school with curicullum 2013. Variable studied were emotional intelligence as the independent variable (X) and variable teacher efficacy as the dependent variable. The method used in this study is quantitative research with technique cluster sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 50 respondents. The data analysis technique are used to test the hypotesis is a simple regresission analysis using Rasch Model with winstep version 3.73 and SPSS version 16.0. Based on the calcullations, emotional intelligence effects teacher efficacy by 6% and the remaining 94% is in influenced by factors other than emotional intelligence.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect between Big Five Personality (openness to experience, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, neuroticism) to teacher efficacy in elementary school with curriculum 2013. The design of this this study is a quantitative method. The measuring instrument used Big Five Inventory and Teacher Sense of Efficacy Scale that has been adapted into the Indonesian language. The number of samples in this study are 91 elementary school teachers who teach using curriculum 2013 in Bekasi City. The results of the research based on linear regression analysis showed a significant effects between Big Five Personality type of openness to experience, conscientiousness, extraversion, and neuroticism to the teacher efficacy in elementary school with curriculum 2013. The results show that extraversion has the higher effect on teacher efficacy which is 24.1% with a positive effect on teacher efficacy.

Abstract

Age and teaching experience are part of the factors that affect teacher efficacy. This study aims to determine the effect of age and teaching experience on teacher efficacy in elementary school teachers who teach using Curriculum 2013. The number of samples in this study were 83 teachers who teach using the 2013 curriculum in North Jakarta. This research uses quantitative method with psychology scale. The preferred scale used to measure teacher efficacay seen from the age and experience of teaching teachers is Teacher Sense of Efficacy Scale (TSES). Data processing methods used in testing the research hypothesis is by multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of age and teaching experience on teacher efficacy in elementary school teachers in North Jakarta with 0,018 (<0.05). The resultant effect 90.5 % Influenced beyond age and teaching experience.

Abstract

This research aims to find effects of teachers’ stress on teacher well-being in teachers of inclusive elementary schools. This is a quantitative research with one predictor linear regression analysis. Samples in this research were 117 inclusive elementary schools collected using the accidental sampling. Variable of teachers’ stress was measured using Teacher Stress Inventory (TSI) developed by Collie and variable of teacher well-being was measured using Teacher Well-Being Scale (TWBS) developed by Firman & Fastenau. The research results showed significance value (ρ) OG 0.000, which was smaller than 0.5, and it was found that F-count was 29.795 and F-table was 3.92. It meant that teachers’ stress provided significant effects on teacher well-being in teachers of inclusive elementary schools. This study concluded that if teachers experience high levels of stress, it will reduce their level of teacher well-being. In addition, it was found that R-square was 0.206, which meant that teachers’ stress provided effect of 20.6% on teacher well-being in teachers of inclusive elementary schools.

Abstract

Many treatments for children with ADHD have been carried out, but on the other hand parents who interact directly with them have not been given much specific intervention. Parents with ADHD children are basically prone to experiencing stress in parenting, especially mothers. Interventions need to be carried out to help mothers not feel like they failed in parenting and to prevent the stress effect for the development of their ADHD children. This research was conducted to provide stress management training to reduce the level of parenting stress experienced by mothers with children who have a diagnosis of ADHD. This research is in the form of an experiment by comparing the level of stress experienced by mothers with GPPH children before and after being given training. Training is given over three days for approximately nine hours. Respondents in this study were 10 mothers with ADHD children who had moderate and severe levels of parenting stress based on a parenting stress measurement tool (Daulay & Hadjam, 2020). The results of the dependent t-test in this study were 0.000 <0.05. The results showed that there were differences in parenting stress levels before and after being given stress management training. Therefore stress management training is considered to be able to reduce the level of parenting stress experienced by mothers with ADHD children.

Abstract

Banyak siswa sekolah mengalami dampak pandemi COVID-19 sejak bulan Maret tahun 2020.Ancaman terhadap kesehatan diri sendiri dan keluarga, penutupan sekolah, beralih ke pembelajaran online,menjaga jarak fisik, dan kemudian tantangan baru muncul, untuk kembali ke sekolah pada Maret 2022.Banyak spekulasi tentang "gelombang kedua" krisis kesehatan mental, terutama untuk anak-anak danremaja usia sekolah. Krisis ini sama merusaknya dengan efek kesehatan fisik dampak dari pandem. Namun,hanya sedikit penelitian yang bertanya kepada siswa tentang pengalaman mereka selama pandemi.Keterampilan psikologis akan membantu siswa untuk meningkatkan kesehatan mental mereka. Pengabdiankepada masyarkat berupa psikoedukasi dilakukan pada guru sekolah dasar dan menengah pertama diJakarta. Sebanyak 20 guru mengikuti kegiatan ini. Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dilakukan untukmengidentifikasi masalah yang dialami para siswa berdasarkan pengamatan para guru. Psikoedukasimemberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan (praktek) management stress, management emosi, mindfulness,regulasi diri, perilaku prososial, dan art therapy. Hasilnya, menurut para guru beberapa siswa terlihatbersemangat dan senang dengan kebijakan tatap muka 100%. Sementara, beberapa siswa lain sulitmengimbangi materi pembelajaran teman-temannya, kurang termotivasi untuk belajar, dan masih takutdengan penularan virus COVID-19. Pembekalan materi dan keterampilan psikologis yang dilakukan dirasaguru akan membantu siswa menghadapi masa-masa sulit.

Abstract

“Aku Suka Menolong” is a community service program that focuses on improving the prosocial behavior children in school age at Desa Kalisapu Slawi, Tegal Central Java. This program has 3 fun activities, first acitivity is the movie session with the main theme is about helping each other, then second activity is a puppet show which tells the story about helping then the third is giving the reward for the responden who practices prosocial behavior in everyday life. As an evaluation of effectiveness of the program, we gave a quationaire to gathered data about the prosocial behavior of the respondents, as the result we know that 80,65% respondent is classified to high score and 19,35% classified to low in prosocial behavior

Abstract

Certain phenomena have been found within our target for Community Service activity of the Faculty of Psychology Education, the State University of Jakarta, which is taking place at SMPN 139, Jakarta. The issue that arose from the target school is despite being an inclusive school, the understanding among the teachers still lacks regarding particular special needs of students. The stigma said that Gifted children were considered an advantage; they thought Gifted children didn't need special treatment and managing adaptable programs to facilitate Gifted children. In fact, special need children even Gifted one still need to optimize their capacities with the proper program that could be managed by the school. In an effort to increase this awareness, teachers will be involved this community service, which includes several activities. Our program mainly focused on Psychoeducation in the form of webinars through material presentations, video, discussion. The result of the community Service program at SMPN 139 Jakarta showed the significant differences between the results before giving psychoeducation program, and after the program, it means there was an effect of providing Psychoeducation about gifted students to increase the awareness of teachers at SMPN 139 East Jakarta.
