Abstract

PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) or PT. Pelindo III is a State-Owned Enterprise engaged in the sector transportation. Duties, powers and responsibilities of this company is to manage the public ports in seven provinces in Indonesia. PT. Pelindo III has a vision "To be the perpetrator prime harbor service provider, is committed to spur national logistics integration". The company uses information systems and information technology (IS/IT), today the development of the IS/IT companies to only fixed requirements of this moment can be seen from the development of the IS/IT to meet the demand of the concerned division, not based on the vision, mission and goals of the implementation of IS/IT. PT. Pelindo III have adequate IT infrastructure but are not used efficiently, the impact occurs the gap between IT and SI because it is not clear how the selection process and management of IT infrastructure. Companies in some periods also perform change management due to several factors, one of which is the change in the business environment this triggers for change management (update) in the IS / IT are there but do not pay attention to the condition of the existing SI, this has resulted in some SI often experience decreased performance.To resolve these problems,  needed solutions that look different elements within the company as a whole as a whole and have architectural principles as the basis for the development of the IS / IT that is enterprise architecture planning (EAP). By applying EAP many benefits PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia  III (persero) as an enterprise.

Abstract

Education Department Bondowoso District field of education personnel have a duty to analyze of teachers placed needs. This time the field of education personel have a problem to implement analysis of needs teacher placement process among others the length of the process of data collection, and data analysis is still using the manual method. This problem resulted teacher placement needs analysis process takes a long time and error prone. To answer these problems then made an application determining teacher placement needs. Applications made under regulation with five ministers, this application will generate data that shortage or excess school teacher and produce recommendations that can be moved assign teachers. At this stage of the implementation of the application needs analysis the placement of the teachers in primary schools shows conformity with the expectation of 100% and worth to be used. Teacher placement needs analysis process done more effectively and efficiently than ever before. The data used was school data in the academic year 2013 - 2014

Abstract

PDAM Surabaya is the business unit belongs to an area that plays a crucial in fulfilling the needs of clean water communities that apply IT to assist in the achievement of the business objectives of the company. In its application, the maturity level of the IT management at PDAM Surabaya is the absence of supervision to run the procedure, so that the risk of many irregularities and discrepancies between operational processes that run with the policy that is set up. The solution to deal with these problems, the need for an IT governance is thus expected to produce maximum output to the company, help the decision-making process, as well as help the process of problem solving. As the basis for drafting of the COBIT framework is 4.1. External of it governance is a document that includes: 1) the alignment of the IT objectives with business goals that breakfast buffet by the 8 Primary and seven Secondary IT Process that supports the achievement of Strategic Aligment on Focus Area IT Governance. 2) Gap analysis in each domain, the results of processing the questionnaire found value is Defined as-is Process, while the results of the interviews found that the value of the to-be is Managed and Measurable. 3) stages the process increases as-is headed to-be each IT Process in order to produce the expected accomplishments. 4) Recommendations implementation of it governance based on COBIT 4.1 framework each IT Process so that relevant parties could easily carry out the monitoring of the management and measurement.

Abstract

The main activities of PT.Eloda Mitra have used application in daily activities, but those applications are still based on each division. This will cause the business processes become uncontrollable and data in each division is not integrated. A way to solve the problem in PT. Eloda Mitra is with strategic planning with Anita Casidy method, where in the planning started from upstream to downstream of the company. Anita casidy method having 4 (four) stage that are visioning, analysis, direction, recommendation. The result of that method is IS strategy, IT strategy dan IT management. Results of this research are as follows, IS Strategy that are repairing vendor ordering system by using STI, making customer complain centre, making STI data security system, making changes SDM system which the recruitment of new staff to making standard operating procedure, and updating the website. The result of thi method also obtain IT strategy that are apply a system of management equipment repair for improve network management, increased clustering activity and SANs, Review the design and the use of data center to ensure discharging that can save, using PDA in business process. IT management for supporting IS and IT strategy is composing management human resources for all planning and conduct training human resources

Abstract

IT services are critical to organizational success because of their ability to increase organizational competitiveness and flexibility. In managing quality IT services, IT Service Management (ITSM) is needed. ITSM is the implementation and management of quality IT services to meet business needs. To guarantee and support ITSM, an IT Service Desk (ITSD) function is required. ITSD is a functional unit consisting of a number of staff who are responsible for handling various IT service activities. The function of ITSD is to record and manage and resolve all incidents, problems, IT service requests, and IT service access rights by providing a central point of contact. Therefore, ITSD becomes very important in ensuring and supporting the management of IT services. In carrying out this ITSD function, it is necessary to develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) so that the implementation of work is more structured and measurable. Based on this, the researcher created an ITSD SOP model based on the ITIL V3 framework with a case study in the Pengembangan dan Penerapan Teknologi Informasi (PPTI) section at Universitas Dinamika. This ITSD SOP model produces 3 SOP which includes recording requests and complaints for IT services, analysis and actions, reviewing actions with descriptions of 7 Work Instructions, and 26 Work Records. This ITSD SOP model can serve as a guide in recording, managing, and resolving requests and IT service access management as well as problem-solving both incidents and IT service problems for the organization.

Abstract

Business processes are key in managing activities and relationships between activities in an organization. However, managing business processes in organizations still has problems such as inefficiency and ineffectiveness. Therefore, good business process management is needed. Good business process management can be done by conducting business process analysis and modeling (BPAM). On this basis, a model of a business process improvement was created based on the Business Process Improvement approach. This model aims to improve business processes within a business activity and the relationships between business activities. This model produces stages that include 1) Determining the scope based on the value chain; 2) BPAM based on business process modeling notation; and 3) Business process improvement based on 12 tools fundamental and techniques of Integration, improvement, and replacement. Based on the results of applying this model, it can be used as a guide for organizations in making improvements to their business processes.

Abstract

Arsitektur bisnis merupakan alat strategis suatu organisasi yang menggerakkan operasional bisnis dan faktor penentu TI yang bertujuan untuk daya saing. Arsitektur bisnis merupakan relasi antara tujuan organisasi, layanan dan proses bisnis. Arsitektur bisnis bagian domain arsitektur enterprise yang merupakan aspek non-teknis suatu organisasi. Adapun permasalahan yang terjadi jika organisasi dalam mengembangkan arsitektur enterprise tidak didasarkan dengan arsitektur bisnis yang baik maka menimbulkan ketidakselarasan antara tujuan organisasi dengan TI. Dampaknya tidak dapat mengukur tercapainya tujuan organisasi dan kinerja TI terhadap bisnis. Oleh sebab itu penelitian ini membuat model arsitektur bisnis berdasarkan framework TOGAF. TOGAF memiliki konsep, proses, dan model yang lebih baik dibandingkan framework lainnya. Adapun penelitian ini membuat model arsitektur bisnis dengan tujuan untuk keselarasan antara tujuan, layanan dan proses bisnis. Adapun model ini menghasilkan 3 lapisan pada arsitektur bisnis yang meliputi 1) Business Goals; 2) Business Services; 3) Business Process. Model ini di implementasikan dengan studi kasus pada Universitas Dinamika dan telah dilakukan evaluasi terhadap model ini. Adapun kesimpulannya, bahwa model ini merepresentasikan konsep arsitektur bisnis dan hasilnya juga menjelaskan hubungan antara tujuan organisasi, layanan dan proses bisnis. Oleh sebab itu model ini diperuntukkan sebagai panduan dalam penyusunan arsitektur bisnis yang merupakan dasar penyusunan arsitektur sistem informasi dan teknologi

Abstract

Comprehension of business models is fundamental for the effective design and development of new ventures, particularly for students beginning to explore entrepreneurship. This community service program aimed to equip students of SMA Kristen Pringadi with the skills to develop business models using the (BMC) Business Model Canvas framework. The training was implemented in three stages: preparation, execution, and evaluation. In addition to introducing the BMC framework, the training also presented the eight types of e-business models developed by Peter Weill and Michael R. Vitale as a conceptual foundation. The effectiveness of the training was assessed by comparing the results of pre-tests and post-tests. Of the 18 participants, 9 students (50%) demonstrated improvement, 7 students (38.9%) maintained the same scores, and 2 students (11.1%) showed no improvement. These findings suggest that the training had a positive impact on most participants' understanding of business model design. It is hoped that this activity will serve as an initial step in cultivating entrepreneurial interest and competence among high school students.

Abstract

Business-IT Alignment (BITA) refers to the fit between business and IT strategy. BITA is important for realizing the achievement of organizational goals, enhancing performance, and gaining competitive advantage in an organization. BITA is a crucial concern for organizations and remains a top topic from the perspective of business executives. BITA can be realized through Enterprise Architecture (EA), which is a comprehensive and holistic instrument for managing and maintaining BITA. However, despite numerous literature studies on the BITA model or framework through EA, the research is currently more focused on technology planning than strategic planning. Meanwhile, strategic planning is the most crucial challenge of the EA framework because it is the embodiment of BITA in the strategic alignment dimension. The current study aims to conduct a literature review of BITA through EA in the strategic alignment dimension. This literature study resulted in 25 out of 100 papers and classified into five strategic alignments. The review identified 25 relevant papers out of 100 and categorized them into five strategic alignments. The study's contributions include solutions in the form of stages for developing strategic alignment through EA based on business strategy models. The five stages are as follows: 1) Identification of vision, mission, and goals; 2) SWOT-based strategy analysis; 3) BSC-based strategy mapping; 4) BPMN-based business process mapping; and 5) Determination of IS/IT. This study's impact on further research is that it can be used as a basis for developing BITA through EA, based on the five stages identified.

Abstract

Tata kelola teknologi informasi (TKTI) merupakan pengelolaan TI dengan memastikan bahwa penerapan TI dapat meningkatkan kinerja dan mewujudkan tujuan organisasi. Adapun keberhasilan TKTI adanya keselarasan bisnis dan TI (Business-IT Alignment) atau dikenal dengan BITA. BITA merupakan suatu kondisi visi, misi, tujuan organisasi dapat didukung dengan adanya TI. BITA merupakan isu penting dalam perspektif para eksekutif, karena BITA dapat memaksimalkan investasi TI dan meningkatkan kinerja organisasi sehingga dapat mewujudkan tujuan organisasi. BITA dapat diimplementasikan dalam TKTI dengan dukungan framework Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology yang dikenal COBIT. Oleh sebab itu tujuan penelitian ini membuat model BITA untuk perencanaan TKTI berdasarkan COBIT yaitu versi 5. COBIT 5 merupakan versi lanjutan dari COBIT 4.1, yang memiliki fitur lebih lengkap yang meliputi integrasi framework, standard, dan resource lainnya. Penelitian ini menghasilkan Model BITA dengan 5 tahapan berdasarkan COBIT 5 dan model di implementasikan dengan studi kasus di Universitas Dinamika. Setelah model ini diimplementasikan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model ini dapat dijadikan panduan dalam merencanakan TKTI pada suatu organisasi.
