Abstract

In research on sales growth and company measurements on the capital structure of goods companies, the aim is to identify the effect of the growth variable of each sales and the size variable in each company on the capital structure variable. This research is included in the type of causal and population research in the study, namely companies for consumer goods (Customer Good Industry) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018 - 2020 as many as 23 companies. The data used are secondary data using multiple regression analysis, and partial test (t test) using the SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) 26 for windows program. The results of the study partially that the Sales Growth Variable has a significant positive effect on the Capital Structure Variable, the Size Variable in the company which has a significant effect on the Capital Structure Variable so that simultaneously on the sales growth variable and the Company Size Variable which affects the Capital Structure Variable.

Abstract

Purpose – In gaining competitive advantage in the tourism context, Bandung City needs a good marketing strategy. This study aims to determine the influence of destination attractiveness on destination attachment and its impact on tourist sustainable behavior in Bandung, West Java. Design/methodology/approach – This study used a descriptive verification approach. The number of samples is 151 tourists who were randomly selected using incidental techniques. The data analysis is carried out using SEM with Amos 22 software. The data were collected through questionnaire, notes and publication, and literature study. Findings – The results of this study indicate that the attraction given by a destination directly influences tourists to make return visits. Destination attractiveness has an influence on destination attachment. This study also found that the mediating effect of the tourist destination attachment on the relationship between destination attractiveness and sustainable behavior is very small. Research limitations/implications – Future research is suggested to consider other variables that are able to mediate the influence of tourist attraction on return visits or sustainable behavior. Practical implications – As destination attractiveness positively affects sustainable behavior of tourist, this study provides insight for the government of Bandung city to make a good marketing strategy in order to create a competitive advantage in their destination. Originality/value – This study answers to the suggestion from previous studies to identify and examine the mediators relevant to the attitude-behavior relationship in the context of tourism research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Internal Audit and Whistleblowing System on Fraud Prevention at PT TASPEN (Persero) Bandung Main Branch Office. The factors tested in this study are internal audit and the violation reporting system as independent variables. Meanwhile, fraud prevention is the dependent variable. The research design used in this research is explanatory. The population in this study were 50 employees who were at PT TASPEN (Persero). The sampling technique used in this study is to use a saturated sample because the population size is known with certainty. While the analytical method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis at a significance level of 5% using the Program (SPSS) Version 25. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that the internal audit and whistleblowing system have a significant effect on fraud prevention and contribute to fraud prevention by 66.4%. So that the better the level of internal audit and whistleblowing system in a company, the higher the level of fraud prevention.

Abstract

Small and medium enterprises in Indonesia are currently facing stiff competition because more and more competitors are emerging. To win the competition, local companies must pay attention to the strategies adopted so as to produce innovations that can be a strength for the organization itself. Factors that influence the creation of innovation it self include knowledge management and network capability. The purpose of this study is to investigate how knowledge management and network capability affect the creation of innovation. This research uses descriptive research. Data was collected through a survey by distributing questionnaires to 200 respondents and returning 170 respondents. The results of the study indicate that there is a positive influence between knowledge management on network capability and the creation of innovation, besides that network capability has a significant effect on the creation of innovation.

Abstract

The use of IT has been massively used in improving organizational performance, including the performance of health institutions. Improved performance can be achieved by various schemes, one of which is increasing organizational learning. For this reason, this study is an attempt to examine information and technology in an effort to increase absorptive capacity in the role of organizational learning in the health care industry. The method used in this research is quantitative with an online survey. Structural equation modeling is used to analyze the path analysis test. The results of this study indicate that IT has a positive influence on organizational learning, both the first outcome, namely knowledge transfer and the second outcome, namely absorptive capacity, as well as on the performance of health care institutions. This research provides both theoretical and practical contributions. The theoretical contribution is adding literacy related to IT functions to improve organizational performance in the role of organizational learning. While, the practical contribution is to provide a view that in the implementation of IT it is necessary to pay attention to organizational learning so that IT functions properly.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate how small & medium scale companies in managing Sales Forces owned & strategic intelligence in obtaining information amid complex competition with all its limitations. The context of Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Sales Force is the key to the strength of organizational success. Frequent interaction with consumers & competitors brings up a dynamic concept which is defined as routine regulating other routines, that is, besides its function as a salesperson, it is tasked to gather the information. Activity in searching information through intelligence from sales is called activity intelligence. External information obtained by the company through the Sales Force will lead to strategic planning so as to encourage organization performance to be able to flexibly adjust current business trends. This study used a case study to answer the research questions. Four enterprises were chosen as cases in this study. The result shows that the Sales Force's role will have an impact on organization performance, but organizations that implement activity intelligence through sales forces will be far more flexible & active in adjusting the business before the competition starts. In addition, this study also found strong linkages for organizations that grow through Sales Force & Activity Strategic Intelligence in terms of improving organization Performance.

Abstract

The development of the digital world today has had a significant impact on the industrial sector, one of which is the development of e-commerce. E-commerce is one of the platforms used by consumers in searching for information related to the needs of both products or services. Rating of a product plays an important role that can help consumers to support purchasing decisions and reduce search costs. Many factors can influence online purchasing decisions such as ewom, celebrity influencers, and online discounts, but very few studies have examined product ratings in determining purchasing decisions. This study aims to obtain results regarding the effect of product rating and web quality on purchasing decisions among private university students in Bandung. This type of research is an explanatory research that intends to explain the position of the variables studied and the relationship between one variable and another. The sample used in this study was 100 6th semester students with a focus on 3 classes of business and management faculty. The results showed that there was an influence between product rating and web quality variables on purchasing decisions. Although the results show that the effect is not large enough, these two factors, especially product ratings, are one of the variables that are often used by consumers in supporting online purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating role of entrepreneurial agility in the relationship between digital platform capability and business model innovation adoption, while also considering the moderating role of technology opportunism and environmental dynamism. Background Problems: Digitization currently influences every aspect of individual, including the way they carry out business. Therefore, it is important to understand the way firms respond to this condition while conducting their business. Novelty: This study addresses how the business model innovation adoption can be more advanced and supported by digital platform capability by considering various conditions to deal with changes in technology and the environment, including entrepreneurial agility, environmental dynamism, and technology opportunism. Research Methods: This study is carried out using quantitative approach by distributing questionnaire to the owners or managers of creative MSMEs in Bandung, West Java. The respondents are chosen using purposive sampling method, with the number of samples of 120 respondents. The data is then analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling with AMOS 3.0. Finding/Results: Digital platform capability has a positive influence on entrepreneurial agility, which has a positive influence on business model innovation adoption. Entrepreneurial agility mediates the relationship between digital platform capability on business model innovation adoption, and this relationship is moderated by technology opportunism and environmental dynamism. Conclusion: This study highlights the importance of digital platform capability for firms, as it can lead them to have entrepreneurial agility, and ultimately carry out business model innovation adoption.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine career planning and career development. The research method used in this study is a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, research instruments and documentation. The research results show that planning analysis and career development in the form of promotions and accelerated ranks of Battalion A Pioneer personnel in general have been carried out well in accordance with the established plans or regulations, especially regarding the criteria for personnel violations both in disciplinary hearings, codes of ethics and criminal acts. weaknesses in supervision from the level of leadership to subordinates. The conclusion of this study is that the policies of the leadership regarding career planning and development in the form of promotions and accelerated ranks for Battalion A Pioneer personnel have had the expected impact, especially to improve the discipline and performance of Battalion A Pioneer personnel with regard to attendance levels, main tasks and functions as well as personnel work behavior.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the existence of public complaints related to licensing services in the city of Bandung, especially at the Bandung City Investment and One Stop Integrated Service (DPMPTSP). The research method used is the explanatory method, which is a method to see the relationship or influence between the independent variable and the dependent variable and is also needed to test the hypotheses presented previously. Analysis in data processing using path analysis (path analysis). The results showed that the better the quality of digital services, the better the perception of ease of use (r = 0.818), the perception of ease of use had a positive effect on public satisfaction (R = 73.8%), and the quality of digital services had a positive effect on public satisfaction (R = 74.5%).
