Abstract

Abstract - Diversity is a necessity that cannot be separated from human life. In order to maintain the harmony of life in this diversity, peace must be fought for by all parties, one of which is through peace education. The goal of peace education is to produce people who are wise and able to position themselves through a process of strengthening moderation. This research is based on Johan Galtung's thoughts with his concept of "peace" and "violence" which is a reference for the creation of resolution and post-conflict. This research uses qualitative methods with literature studies through various reference sources, both from books, journals, official websites, and so on. The implementation of Johan Galtung's thoughts in peace education is expected to foster self-discipline and produce individuals who are not only able to interpret peace, create conflict resolution, are able to position themselves in every problem, but also lead to a transformative and lasting peace, without ignoring the presence of violence that will lead to peace. always present as peace is born. This is what is currently needed, especially for the world of journalism which is closely related to the flow and battle of information. With this peace education, it is hoped that a journalist can make decisions to produce journalistic work that is able to reconcile, be balanced, and even become a solution effort to produce transformation and conflict resolution. Abstrak – Keberagaman merupakan keniscayaan yang tidak bisa dipisahkan dari kehidupan manusia. Guna menjaga keharmonisan hidu dalam keberagaman tersebut, perdamaian harus diperjuangkan semua pihak, salah satunya melalui peace education (pendidikan damai). Tujuan dari peace education melahirkan insan yang bijaksana dan mampu memposisikan diri melalui proses penguatan moderasi. Penelitian ini bertitik tolak pada pemikiran Johan Galtung dengan konsep “peace” dan “violence”-nya yang menjadi rujukan bagi terciptanya resolusi dan pasca konflik. Riset ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi pustaka melalui berbagai sumber referensi, baik dari buku, jurnal, laman resmi, dan sebagainya. Implementasi pemikiran Johan Galtung dalam peace education ini diharapkan menumbuhkan kebijaksanaan diri dan melahirkan individu yang tidak hanya mampu memaknai kedamaian, menciptakan resolusi konflik, mampu memposisikan diri dalam setiap problematika, tetapi juga membawa ke arah kedamaian yang transformatif dan abadi, tanpa mengabaikan kehadiran kekerasan yang akan selalu hadir seiring perdamaian terlahir. Hal itulah yang saat ini dibutuhkan, terlebih bagi dunia jurnalistik yang erat kaitannya dengan arus dan pertarungan informasi. Dengan peace education ini, diharapkan seorang jurnalis dapat mengambil keputusan untuk menghasilkan karya jurnalistik yang mampu mendamaikan, berimbang, bahkan menjadi upaya solutif untuk menghasilkan transormasi dan resolusi konflik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the model of fostering awareness of national defense for society in the Bandung city. The findings showed that the efforts to foster awareness of national defense for the society in Bandung used the pentahelix model which involved several elements, such as; government, academia, the business world, society, and media. Efforts to foster awareness of public defense were carried out through defending education and state training programs, then state defense action programs organized by Bandung National Unity and Politics Agency. The result of the process in fostering awareness of the defense of the state was the embedded values of the basic defense in every society. The implications of this research were each element incorporated in the pentahelix model continues to synergize and collaborate in shaping and fostering the awareness of the defense in the public state.

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia merupakan aspek yang sangat penting bagi kemajuan suatu bangsa, permasalahan yang terjadi saat ini yaitu adanya ancaman internal berupa radikalisme, teorisme dan inteloransi, serta ancaman eksternal berupa keamanan territorial dan keamanan digital. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk memahami dan menganalisa strategi Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik Kota Bandung dalam mewujudkan sumber daya manusia unggul guna menghadapi berbagai ancaman yang dihadapi Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan reduksi, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep strategi yang dilakukan oleh Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik Kota Bandung berupa pendidikan dan pelatihan bela negara kepada masyarakat, pelaksanaan yang dilakukan masih bersifat konvensional, alternatif untuk mewujudkan sumber daya manusia unggul yang dilakukan oleh Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik yaitu dengan mengoptimalkan penggunaan teknologi, membuat kurikulum yang berkelanjutan dan berkesinambungan dan fokus pada pengembangan literasi digital masyarakat untuk mencegah berbagai ancaman eksternal dan internal.Kata Kunci: Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik, Bela Negara, Indonesia, Masyarakat, Sumber Daya Manusia

Abstract

Metode pendidikan bela negara yang dilakukan oleh Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik (Bakesbangpol) Kota Bandung sangat penting dalam memperbaiki dengan generasi muda yang menunjukkan adanya penurunan sikap nasionalisme, serta merubahnya menjadi generasi muda yang tangguh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis metode pendidikan bela negara yang dilakukan oleh Bakesbangpol Kota Bandung dalam mewujudkan generasi muda yang tangguh dan menghadapi berbagai ancaman yang dihadapi oleh generasi muda akibat adanya globalisasi. Teori yang digunakan yaitu teori metode pendidikan, pertahanan keamanan negara dan konsepsi bela negara. Analisis ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, dengan strategi pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penemuan telah menunjukkan pendidikan bela negara dari Bakesbangpol Kota Bandung diselenggarakan dengan menggunakan model pentahelix. Keunggulan dari metode pendidikan bela negara yang dilaksanakan oleh Bakesbangpol Kota Bandung yaitu mengembangkan generasi muda yang tangguh dengan memiliki dimensi geografis, psikologis, security, dan dedikasi, sedangkan kelemahannya yaitu belum adanya metode tindak lanjut dan media bagi generasi muda dalam menjalin komunikasi

Abstract

The strategy of the Bandung National Unity and Political Agency (Bakesbangpol) in realizing excellent human resources is still conventional. This can be seen in the form of education and training for the community without using technological advances to develop community digital literacy as an effort to create excellent society and protect from internal threats in the form of radicalism, terrorism, and intolerance; and externally,  in the form of territorial security and digital security. The purpose of this study is to analyze the strategy of the Bandung City Political and National Unity Agency in realizing excellent human resources to face the various threats facing Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study methods, data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation, then analyzed using reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the strategic concept carried out by the Bandung City Political and National Unity Agency in the form of education and training to defend the state for the community. The implementation carried out was still conventional, an alternative to realizing excellent human resources carried out by the National Unity and Political Agency, namely by optimizing the use of technology, create a sustainable curriculum and focus on developing digital literacy in society to prevent various external and internal threats.Keywords: The National Unity and Political Agency, defend the state indonesia, society, human resources

Abstract

Krisis akhlak sedang melanda bangsa Indonesia hari ini. Prinsip Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa dalam Pancasila, yang sejatinya sebagai landasan dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara kurang diindahkan dan cenderung diabaikan. Guna menanggulangi masalah tersebut, maka Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan mendapatkan peranan penting dalam dunia pendidikan Indonesia. Penelitian ini berlandaskan pada metode kualiatif dengan studi literatur sebagai basis data. Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan sebagai pendidikan akhlak, memuat poin-poin penting dalam mewujudkan karakter kebangsaan, khususnya dalam mewujudkan masyarakat yang berketuhanan yakni masyarakat yang beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa serta berakhlak mulia. Oleh karena itu, Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan sebagai pendidikan akhlak mesti direalisasikan, khususnya diinstitusi pendidikan, demi meminimalisir kerusakan dan menanggulangi problematika akhlak dan moralitas. Abstract

Remaja berpotensi melahirkan tindakan kejahatan atau dikenal sebagai kenakalan remaja. Oleh sebab itu, pencegahan dan penanganannya perlu diupayakan, salah satunya melalui pendidikan resolusi konflik. Hal itu bertujuan tidak hanya memberikan edukasi dalam penanganan konflik, bagi anak yang berhadapan (konflik) dengan berbagai persoalan, misalnya hukum, juga sebagai upaya dalam meminimalisir kenakalan remaja. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan studi literatur. Pendidikan resolusi adalah tanggung jawab semua pihak, tidak hanya institusi formal. Pihak-pihak tersebut mesti memperhatikan aspek-aspek penanganan dalam pendidikan resolusi konflik, diantaranya: 1) no emphaty; 2) no collaborative; 3) no conflict resolution intelligence; 4) no social intelligence; 5) no skill persoanl; dan, 6) using force/violence. Sehingga, fokus dalam pendidikan resolusi konflik adalah mengasah kecerdasan sosial dan penyelesaian masalah, meningkatkan kemampuan mendesain resolusi konflik, dan mendapatkan pengetahuan konflik secara positif. Melalui pendidikan resolusi konflik diharapkan individu dapat mempelajari dan mengatasi konflik yang dialami, serta mampu meningkatkan kualitas berpikir dalam menghadapi situasi konflik, khususnya dalam persoalan kenalakan remaja.

Abstract

The formation of personal branding has become one of the most important political communication strategies for shaping the image of a politician. One of them is Popong Otje Djundjunan, often known as Ceu Popong. One of the ways to establish Ceu Popong's personal branding as a female politician is through television media, namely the Ngawangkong Sareng Ceu Popong program on INews Bandung television station. This study aims to analyze the construction of Ceu Popong's personal branding as a Sundanese female politician through television media. The analysis was carried out based on eight aspects of personal branding identified by Peter Montoya and Tim Vandehey (2002). A qualitative approach and case study method are used in this research. Data were collected using interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results showed that Ceu Popong's personal branding as a female politician was formed through one of the INews Bandung television programs, namely Ngawangkong Sareng Ceu Popong. Eight aspects of personal branding, starting with specialization, leadership, personality, distinctiveness, visibility, unity, persistence, and goodwill, have been formed in Ceu Popong when presenting the television program. The formation of personal branding through television media has constructed the Ceu Popong brand as a female politician who is attached to Sundanese cultural values.

Abstract

One effort to strengthen the idea of democratic policing is through civic education. This research has the main aim of analyzing the conceptual aspects contained in civic education in order to provide strengthening ideas for democratic policing. This research also attempts to outline the challenges of democratic policing as viewed from the perspective of civic education in Indonesia. This article uses Gary Goertz's three-level conceptual analysis framework to dissect the conceptual dimensions in civic education that are useful for strengthening democratic policing. Qualitatively, data was obtained using literature studies from various books, journal articles, report documents, and other literature. This study shows that civic education, which is integrated with democracy, politics, law, human rights, anti-corruption, and peace education, can be a vehicle for conceptually strengthening the idea of democratic policing. In addition, this study found a number of challenges for civic education in strengthening democratic policing efforts in Indonesia. The main challenges are the problems that occur in the police institution, including not yet fully supporting democratic culture and spaces for citizens, the issue of police neutrality in political life, the practice of violations of law and human rights by police officers, the existence of corrupt behavior, and the fact that the police has not yet fully become a humanist and non-violent institution. This study requires further research to see to what extent the implementation of the concept of civic education can strengthen democratic policing efforts that are oriented to the citizenship dimension.

Abstract

Corruption within Indonesia’s education sector ranks among the most frequently identified and prosecuted cases by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). Education itself is a vital sector for human resource development; therefore, corruption within it poses a direct threat to the development process. This concern forms the foundation for this study, which aims to analyze the current realities, causes, and solutions to address corruption in Indonesia’s education sector. The findings of this article may serve as strategies to mitigate and prevent potential corruption within this critical sector. This study employs a literature review with a qualitative approach, drawing primarily on data from books, journals, institutional reports, accredited websites, and other relevant documents. Data analysis was conducted after compiling and reviewing various literature sources, from which insights and conclusions were derived. The results reveal a pervasive corruption problem in the education sector, supported by diverse data points. The causes of corruption are multifaceted, encompassing personal motives, societal and cultural influences, weak law enforcement and oversight, government negligence, and inadequate institutional management. Consequently, the proposed solutions are categorized into three dimensions: individual/personal, environmental/cultural, and institutional.
