Abstract

The objectives of this research were to: (1) know out the effect of production variable factors; raw materials (m³), labor, and production tools of wood processing. (2) to calculate the production income, and (3) to state the feasibility level of PT. Tatehe Nusa Jaya in relation to Timber Product Business Industry License in Palu City. This research was carried out for five months, from February to June 2014. The population was the duration of sawn timber processing activities at PT. Tatehe Nusa Jaya (36 months). The sample was taken monthly. Then sawn timber processing revenue was affected by the fixed costs, variable costs and revenues. Cobb-Douglass analysis production function was used to answer the problem statement of this research. This research uses qualitative descriptive design. The results of production function showed that coefficient determination was 0.828. It means that the model was effective to be applied since the ability to explain the Y factor in the changes of Xi variables (X1, X2, and X3) was 82.8% or high. Meanwhile, the remaining 17.2% was caused by external factors which was not observed in this research. The operating timber product business industry revenues of PT. Tatehe Nusa Jaya was profitable. The company's revenue was Rp. 31.772.648.018,-. Variable production factors influence the increase in operating revenues IUIPHHK PT. Tatehe Nusa Jaya. This high revenues was taken from the small ratio of total production cost in comparison to the total income. Thus economically good to run because the value of the level of feasibility is Rp. 13.74 and because the value of the RC ratio> 1. It means that the feasibility of company was 1: 13,74.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the business feasibility of pine resin (Pinus merkusii Jungh et de Vriese) at protected forest management unit or KPHL Kulawi and determine the effect of increasing the cost of managing pine resin on business feasibility through sensitivity analysis. The value of input and output at the time of the study was considered as a constant price with units of costs and revenues generated in units of Rp/Ha/Year. The analysis was carried out using the formula of investment feasibility criteria namely Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and sensitivity analysis to determine the strength of the business in the event of increased costs. This study uses Bank Indonesia's annual average interest rate of 6.75%, obtained NPV value of Rp.296.870.072,20, BCR value is greater than 1 (one) that is 2.23 and large IRR value is 39,63%, which is greater than the investment interest rate. Based on the investment eligibility criteria, the pine sap business fulfils the feasible requirements to run. The results of the sensitivity analysis show the pine sap business in the Kulawi KPHL is not strong in facing a 120% increase in costs, an NPV value < 0 and a BCR value decrease below zero, which means that the pine sap investment is not feasible to continue.

Abstract

This research aims to know the precision of the benchmark price in calculating PSDH, the precision of rate used for the calculation of PSDH and DR, the precision of PSDH and DR payments through SIMPONI (System Information Non Tax Revenue Online) and to obtain policy recommendations by which the goverment can reallocate the PNT income that were collected in the region of Central Sulawesi Province. Data collection was done by using the questionnaire using Likert Scale measurement methods. By using descriptive analysis, the research results show that : (1) Benchmark prices for group meranti wood and mixed rimba group in calculation of PSDH is lower than respondent’s opinion, while the benchmark prices of wood Indah Group I, Group II and Non-Timber Forest Products (Rattan Batang, Lambang and Tohiti) is not different with that of the respondent’s opinion, (2) use of rates that is used for the calculation of PSDH and DR is not different with that of the respondent’s opinion, (3) Payment of PSDH and DR through Simponi is not different with that of the respondent’s opinion, and (4) Policy recommendation by which the goverment can reallocate the PNT income that were collected is to draw up regulations concerning the return of the PNT to Regions producers because all the provisions regulating the PNT is declared null and void again based on the decision of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 12 P/HUM/2015.

Abstract

This research aims to identify visitors' perceptions of the environmental conditions of urban forests and calculate the WTP value for efforts to maintain forest environmental conditions. Using the CVM method is a survey technique to ask respondents about the value/price they give to commodities that do not have a market price, such as environmental goods. The results obtained, Respondents' Perceptions were assessed from several aspects, namely: Cleanliness, Beauty, Comfort, Coolness and Satisfaction. With respondents' average rating being "Quite good and good" and the aspect with the highest score being Beauty and Comfort with a score of 4.17, the average WTP for urban forests is IDR. 2,818.2, with the number of respondents willing to pay 253 out of the total respondents 269 and the total WTP or income that can be generated is IDR. 273,803,792 per year. Based on the total WTP value obtained, it can be used as a reference in developing and improving environmental services that can be offered and become an attraction for the city of Palu, so that more and more people visit the Palu city forest and can enjoy it continuously.
