Abstract

Primary health care is a health service facility where organize first-rate individual health care efforts, one of which is outpatient care. Quality outpatient services so as to provide satisfaction to patients. One factors that needs to be considered is patient waiting time. There are still complaints about waiting times, speed of service, service facilities and summoning sources are less still found in the Tlogosari Wetan health center with the category of the number of visits including many but experienced a decrease in visits from the previous year. Objective: Analyze the factors related to the waiting time of outpatients in the Tlogosari Wetan Health Center in Semarang City according to the patient's perception. Method: This research was using quantitative model with with analytical survey approach and cross sectional research design. Samples totaled 100 with accidental sampling. The result data of data was number with Chi-Square test. Result:The data showed that the majority of respondents aged adult, female and high school educated. Most respondents were adults, female and medium educated. The average registration service time is 3.81 min, the main service is 7.6 min, supporting services are 2.36 min. Average registration waiting time is 15.28 min, main service is 23.83 min, supporting service is 11.38 min. Respondents' perceptions of service time, service discipline, service facilities, the source of the call and waiting time are good. Variables related to the perception of outpatients waiting time at the Tlogosari Wetan Health Center in Semarang City included perceptions of service time (p = 0.018), perception of service discipline (p = 0.01), perception of service facilities (p = 0.000). While the variables that are not related include perception of the source of calling (p = 0.280). Suggestion: Print larger and strategically placed online registration information, place reading material to look and add the latest reading material, as well as periodic checks and maintenance of facilities and sources of calling.

Abstract

 Cervical and Breast Cancer Screening Program is the government program to overcome cervical cancer with VIA method and breast cancer with CBE method. Kedungmundu Primary Healthcare Center is the one of Primary Helatcare Center that provides inspection services of VIA and CBE. In 2017, incidences of cervical and breast cancer in Kedungmundu Primary Healthcare area are high, that is 28 cases. Meanwhile the number of women of reproductive age are screened in 2015−2017 has not reached the targets. This study aims to analyze the role of Kedungmundu Primary Healthcare Center in implementating cervical and breast cancer screening program. This research used descriptive qualitative method with purposive sampling criteria toward and deep interviews with 2 main informant and 13 triangulation informant. The result of this research shows that the role of passive and active role of primary health care center has not been done optimally. In carrying out of passive role, there are constraints that is the lack of trained IVA’s midwives and not reaching the national targets. While on the active role, socialization and education of primary health care center is not directly to the people, the reports of VIA and CBE’s performance programs has not included in the Annual Performance Report of the primary health care center. To reduce the existing obstacles, primary health care center takes advocacy and partnership to seek community participation. Monitoring and evaluation programs are not routinely performed once a month. Primary health care center strategy to increase early detection coverage is by conducting free checking in every village regularly once a month for participants who have BPJS. The health department is advised to evaluate the availability of trained midwives, targeting and improving program oversight. Primary healthcare center are advised to include VIA and CBE perfomarnce reports in the Annual Performance Report, increase partnerships, and integrate with other programs.

Abstract

Nurses are very important human resources in a hospital. Therefore, the contribution of inpatient nurses greatly determines the performance of the hospital. There are many factors that affect the performance of inpatient nurses in improving the quality of services, such as salary, work environment, work discipline, leadership style, job satisfaction, motivation, and organizational culture. The nursing care quality of a hospital is assessed with BOR, LOS, TOI data. These data indicate a decrease in the performance of inpatient nurses in Semarang’s Tugurejo General Hospital. Work discipline and work environment are the factors causing the low performance quality of inpatient nurses at Tugurejo Hospital. In that case, this study aims to find the correlation of work discipline and work environment with the performance of nurses in the inpatient room of Tugurejo Hospital. The type of this research is quantitative research with cross sectional approach. The samples used in this research are 80 respondents. The results showed that 47% of the respondents are 26-35 years old, 58% of the respondents are female, 62% of the respondents have worked for ≤10 years, and 42% of the respondents are bachelors of nursing major. The result of the research shows that the variables related to the performance of inpatient nurses are work discipline with low relation strength (p value = 0,000), while work environment is unrelated (p value = 0,332). Hospitals are suggested to standardize their operational procedures of technical aspects of nurse work. Hospitals are also suggested to provide hand-washers and antiseptic soaps that are easily accessible so that inpatient nurses can wash their hands first before starting work. Meanwhile, nurses are demanded to obey the rules and utilize their work time well.

Abstract

Social media as a marketing communication tool can be a strategy for creating customer branding awareness. Strong branding awareness can attract potential new customers and turn existing customers into loyal ones. The decline in patient visits at the hospital is one of the things that needs to be addressed through one of the marketing efforts with social media. The aim of this research is to analyze the power of social media in creating customer branding awareness at X Teaching Hospital of Dental and Oral in Semarang. This research is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study consisted of 100 outpatients. Data collection utilized a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Secondary data regarding the use of Instagram social media is examined based on reach rate, engagement, follower growth, and profile visits. Data were analysed with quantitative descriptive statistics using frequency distribution measurements. Good branding awareness was demonstrated by 54% of respondents, while poor branding awareness was indicated by 46% of respondents. Based on secondary data studies, it is known that there has been a decline in hospital Instagram visits in terms of reach rate, engagement, follower growth, and profile visits. It was concluded that social media has significant power in creating customer branding awareness and impacts decisions to utilize health services.
