Abstract

Floods cause post-flood diseases including diarrhea, leptospirosis dengue fever, ARI, intestinal worms, skin diseases and various other comorbidities. Objective: This study aims to describe the readiness of the community to face post-flood diseases in Lohgawe Hamlet, Gawerejo Village, Karangbinangun Lamongan District. This study used a descriptive design, with a population of 70 community heads and a sample of 59 community heads. The sampling used is simple random sampling. Collecting data with questionnaire sheets, scoring, coding, tabulating and drawing conclusions with percentages. Based on the results of the study, it was found that most of the readiness of public funds in dealing withpost-flood diseases was moderate, namely 30 respondents or 50.85%, most of the readiness of public transportation in dealing withpost-flood diseases was less, namely 34 respondents or 57.63%, most of the environmental readiness the community in dealing with post-flood diseases is moderate, namely 36 respondents or 61.01%, some of the readiness of community communication tools in dealing with post-flood diseases are moderate, namely 26 respondents or 44.06%, and partly the readiness of health workers in dealing with post-flood diseases is moderate. namely 24 respondents or 40.68%. Efforts to improve community readiness in dealing with post flood disease, the role of health workers is expected to be able to help provide information about post-flood disease problems, how to prevent them and how to handle them, so that people can be prepared in dealing with post-flood diseases.

Abstract

The incidence of premature rupture of membranes (PRM) ranges from 8-10% at term pregnancy and 1% in preterm pregnancy. The incidence of PRM at RSUD dr. SoegiriLamongan in 2017 amounted to 16,43%. The purpose of this study was to analyze risk factors of the occurrence of premature rupture membranes in RSUD Dr. SoegiriLamongan. The research used descriptive analytical method with cross sectional approach. The sample is 268 maternity mothers, divided into 134 mothers giving birth with PRM and 134 normal maternity mothers at Dr. Soegiri Lamongan on 2018. Sampling is done by simple random sampling. Data collection uses patient medical record and with multivariate multiple logistic regression analysis.The results showed that presentation abnormalities with a p value of 0.045 <0.05 and CPD with a p value of 0.002 <0.05. Based on the Odds Ratio (OR) values ​​as follows: Maternal age OR 1,141, OR parity 0.933, OR fetal presentation 2,779, OR Twins 1,394, OR CPD 6. and OR Large infants 0.783.Meaning that there was a significant influence between fetal presentation and CPD on PRM.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the market and the opportunity of Child Development Clinic using Google Trends and the effect of regulation on relative search volume (RSV). Child development has become a national priority since the issuance of regulation number 72 of 2021 concerning accelerating the reduction of stunting. The research used descriptive and analytic quantitative method. The data used relative search volume monthly from ten years (2013-2022). The data was then divided by the regional and before-after implementation the regulation of stunting reduction acceleration. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and t-student analysis. The findings showed that the relative search volume increased from the initial year before going down in 2018 and rose again during the pandemic. The region showed different RSV with p-value 0.001<0.05, and there was an effect of regulation implementation on RSV of child development. Google Trend is a management tool that can be used as a market analysis to assess the public interest in child de-velopment in healthcare services.

Abstract

Background: Performance is the way employees work in a company during a certain period. A company that has employees with good performance is likely to have good company performance. Objective: To determine the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational communication with employee performance at Intan Medika Hospital.Methods: A correlational research design with a cross-sectional approach and the method of proportionate stratified random sampling was used. A total of 62 employees who had been working for more than 1 year were selected as the research sample. Data were collected using a closed questionnaire in April-May 2023, and analyzed using chi-square and logistic regression.Results: The multivariate analysis results, used logistic regression, indicate that the organizational communication variable has the most dominant influence with a value of Exp(B) = 4.543 compared to the job satisfaction variable, which has an Exp(B) value of 2.803..Conclusion: The organizational communication variable has the most dominant influence on the performance of employees. Management can provided a meeting program involving all employees to better accommodate organizational communication.

Abstract

Self-efficacy of breastfeeding (BSE) is a mother's confidence in her ability to succeed in providing exclusive breastfeeding. To achieve successful care, it takes a strong place to be able to provide exclusive breastfeeding. One effort that can improve the Self-Efficiency of Breastfeeding (BSE) is verbal persuasion that is the support or advice given by others which is enhanced and becomes a source of strength for mothers issued by education by health workers.The study aims to determine the effect of health education with the Snow Balling method on Breastfeeding Self Efficacy in Primigravida mothers.The research design uses the Posstest Only Control Design approach. Samples were taken from 32 Primigravida mothers who were divided into 2 groups randomly. Retrieval of data using the BSES questionnaire and analyzed using the Mann Whitney U Test (α <0,05).The results showed that more than Primigravida mothers who were not given health education had a low BSE (average BSES score 12.5), and almost all Primigravida mothers who were given health education about lactation by the snow balling method had high BSE (average average BSES score 20.5). Statistical test results showed that there was an effect of health education with the Snow Balling method on Breastfeeding Self Efficacy in Primigravida mothers (p = 0.004).t is recommended that health workers in providing health education not only use the lecture method but with other more interactive methods such as snow balling.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that is continuing to spread around the world has shifted and changed people lifestyle. On the other hand, waste volume is increasing because many people massively throw garbage into water sources or rivers which results in water and soil pollution. This research applied descriptive qualitative method with demonstration techniques. The residents were taught to make Ecobrick for reducing the amount of plastic waste. Ecobrick is very effective in empowering the community to cope with the increasing amount of inorganic waste. Ecobrick can increase the creativity and productivity of the community especially in terms of transforming inorganic waste to goods with economic value. The results indicated that the amount of plastic waste which was previously thrown to the rivers could be reduced by implementing Ecobrick program. This program reflected community innovation and creativity in utilizing unused items at home. At the end, Bunder village can be a zero-waste area and makes goods economical and valuable to be used by all society elements.
