Abstract

ABSTRACT This study discusses how public relations at Tidar University in dealing with online learning time limit conflicts. The purpose of this study was to examine the role of Tidar University Public Relations in dealing with online learning time limit conflicts. This study uses a qualitative approach because the researcher intends to investigate the role of public relations more deeply, which cannot be explained in statistics. The method used is a case study conducted by collecting in-depth and detailed data that includes several sources of information through interviews. The results of the study found that the role of Tidar University's public relations officer was as a communication technician and a communication facilitator. The communication strategy used in dealing with online learning time limit conflicts is mediation carried out by the leadership, bridged by public relations. After that, public relations get the results of mediation for general information needs. Keywords: Conflict; Public Relations Role; Strategy Public Relations ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membahas tentang bagaimana peran humas Universitas Tidar dalam menghadapi konflik batas waktu belajar daring. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji peran Humas Universitas Tidar dalam menghadapi konflik batas waktu belajar daring. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif karena peneliti bermaksud untuk mengkaji lebih dalam mengenai peran humas yang tidak bisa dijelaskan dalam angka statistik. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus yang dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data secara mendalam dan detail yang menyertakan beberapa sumber informasi melalui wawancara. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa peran humas Universitas Tidar adalah sebagai teknisi komunikasi dan fasilitator komunikasi. Strategi komunikasi yang digunakan dalam menghadapi konflik batas waktu belajar daring adalah mediasi yang dilakukan oleh pimpinan, dengan dijembatani oleh humas. Setelah itu, humas mendapatkan hasil mediasi untuk kebutuhan informasi publik. Kata Kunci: Konflik; Peran Humas; Strategi Humas

Abstract

The crisis of haze in Riau Province Indonesia, due to the annual forest and land fires, has caused several problems in some countries across South East Asia including environmental law violation, air pollution, and health problems. Although continuous protests have been expressed by the local society and neighbouring countries, but the crisis seems still far away to be solved. Therefore, this study is aimed to offer a human right based approach to bridge the gap in mitigating the annual forest and land fires in Riau Province Indonesia. The type of the study is a desk research in which the writer examines the human based approach by using the perspective of environmental communication strategy. The result shows that human right based approach can be used as an environmental protection to mitigate the annual forest and land fires through environmental communication by maximizing the main elements of community participation such as holding events, campaigning hashtag movement, and giving penalties for companies which are involved in the forest and land burning crisis.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat besarnya pengaruh personal branding Ridwan Kamil yang terdiri dari roles, standards dan style pada sikap siswa SMA Kota Bandung pada Gerakan Pungut Sampah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei eksplanatori, yang bertujuan untuk menjelaskan hubungan sebab akibat diantara variabel-variabel penelitian dengan pengujian statistik inferensial path analysis. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Kota Bandung yang melakukan dan melaporkan Gerakan Pungut Sampah melalui akun twitter @GPSbdg dan @BDGcleanaction setelah dilakukannya sosialisasi. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik penarikan sampel cluster random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 102 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel personal branding Ridwan Kamil yang terdiri dari roles, standards dan style secara keseluruhan berpengaruh terhadap sikap siswa SMA Kota Bandung pada Gerakan Pungut Sampah. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa personal branding yang dimiliki oleh Ridwan Kamil mampu menggerakkan dan membentuk sikap siswa SMA Bandung untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam program Gerakan Pungut Sampah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, hendaknya Ridwan Kamil perlu menjaga dan mengevaluasi personal branding yang dimilikinya. Hal tersebut dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah personal branding yang melekat pada dirinya sudah efektif dalam menunjang keberhasilan program yang dijalankan. Selain itu, penggunaan personal branding sebaiknya digunakan oleh semua individu dalam kehidupan sehari-hari secara praktis dengan tujuan pengembangan diri. Selanjutnya dimensi personal branding dalam penelitian ini hendaknya mampu dijadikan alat untuk membangun personal branding yang positif pada masing-masing individu.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation of the source credibility with the attitudes of Instagram account followers @zaidulakbar regarding the healthy style of Rasulullah (JSR). The method used in research is a quantitative method, with correlational studies aimed at expressing relationships between variables through correlational statistics. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling with a total sample of 100 followers. Research data was collected by distributing questionnaires containing structured questions and disseminated via the direct message (DM) feature on Instagram. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive data analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis with the Spearman Rank statistical calculation formula (Rs). The results showed that there is a high correlation between the source credibility with the attitude of Instagram account followers @zaidulakbar of 0.834. The source credibility component consists of expertise, trustworthiness, and attractiveness.

Abstract

Convincing people to have a healthy lifestyle is not easy, so it needs a particular approach, such as health communication. The study aims to examine health communication #JSR healthy lifestyle conducted by Dr. Zaidul Akbar through social media. The research method used in the study is descriptive qualitative, which is more focused on 'what' rather than 'how' and 'why' something happens. Data were obtained from interviews with #JSR users who actively listened, followed, and subscribed to studies of Dr. Zaidul Akbar on social media and observation on the official social media Dr. Zaidul Akbar, like the @zaidulakbar Instagram account, Dr. YouTube channel. Zaidul Akbar Official and Facebook @officialdrzaidulakbar. The results suggest that the source of healthy lifestyle #JSR is dr. Zaidul Akbar. Second, the message designed to grab audience attention with the picture attached, clear and relevant, provide benefit and risk information, arouse emotional and rational, consistent and transparent, and contain a call to action. Third, the media used are social media platforms, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook, as social media with the four highest ranks that are most widely used by Indonesians. Fourth, effects on message recipients in the form of cognitive, affective, and behavioral effects.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) termasuk dalam sektor ekonomi nasional yang memiliki peran strategis bagi pembangunan ekonomi kerakyatan. Berbagai upaya dilakukan pemerintah untuk mendorong pertumbuhan dan perkembangan UMKM salah satunya dengan mempermudah perizinan. Legalitas usaha bagi UMKM menjadi sebuah kebutuhan bagi para pelakunya. Namun, masih banyak pelaku UMKM yang mengesampingkan hal karena dianggap rumit dan memakan banyak waktu. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah pertama, untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai urgensi dan manfaat izin usaha mikro dan kecil (IUMK). Kedua adalah untuk melakukan pendampingan permohonan IUMK bagi pelaku usaha Puspa Sari Catering dan Daarul Ayam di Kecamatan Secang. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan penjajagan awal untuk survei lokasi dan problem mapping. Dalam implementasi dilakukan sharing session, sosialisasi, tanya jawab mengenai urgensi dan manfaat IUMK bagi pelaku usaha serta pendampingan permohonan pengajuan IUMK. Terakhir adalah dengan melakukan evaluasi baik dalam aspek kognisi mengenai IUMK maupun evaluasi luaran berupa kemajuan pengajuan IUMK. Hasil dari kegiatan tersebut dianggap efektif dan memberikan dampak yang positif baik dari segi kognisi mengenai IUMK, maupun keterampilan lain yang terkait dengan IUMK di masa depan. Selain itu Nomir Induk Berusaha dan izin usaha dari mitra juga telah terbit.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the communication and learning processes by utilizing digital communication. The challenge of adopting digital communication is inevitable when supporting learning shifts from offline to online systems. However, it is necessary to consider the effectiveness factor in order to facilitate adoption. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is a theoretical framework that describes how a technology can be accepted, adopted, and used by society. Two factors influence people's acceptance of technology: perceived ease of use and perceived of usefulness. In the context of learning using digital communication technology, Google Classroom is a learning technology that is considered easy because there are tutorials available that can guide users and make it easy to access. Its advantage is that it facilitates interaction and learning experiences such as the ability to upload various materials and provide direct feedback. In short, the application of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory to the adoption of digital communication technology in courageous learning during the Covid-19 pandemic can provide understanding and knowledge about aspects that contribute to the adoption and use of technology during times of crisis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that cause poverty in Padasari Village, Cimalaka District, and Sumedang Regency, separately or simultaneously. This research uses quantitative methods with multiple descriptive and linear approaches. Determination of the sample in this study using the Slovin model. Data processing techniques are carried out through validity and reliability tests. Data were analyzed using the SPSS application. The results of the study show that if not adequately managed, natural resources can have a negative impact on poverty levels, human resources involve the quality and quantity of a region's workforce, and human resources who do not have access to education, skills, and training will be difficult for them to obtain welfare.

Abstract

The tourism sector is one of the sectors that was most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The policy of social activities carried out by the government has an impact on the closure of tourist attractions. It has a direct impact on the sustainability of the area itself. One of the tourist attractions affected by COVID-19 is Nepal Van Java. It is located in Dusun Butuh, Temanggung Village, Kaliangkrik District, and Magelang Regency. The attractiveness is in the people's houses, which are very beautiful and interesting. In particular, this study aims to analyze regional tourism development strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic in the tourist area. The research method used is descriptive-qualitative. The results showed that the development and tourism strategy in Dusun Butuh started with analyzing its internal environment, namely promotion, accessibility, tourism area development, tourism products, human resources, and tourism awareness campaigns. Despite the various obstacles that have existed until now, such as the quantity and quality of human resources, accessibility to tourist sites, and insufficient public facilities, The strategy carried out by the manager in the regional tourism development strategy during the COVID-19 pandemic in Dusun Butuh has been quite effective. It is based on data on visitors from Nepal to Java in 2020, which continues to increase and can help local communities open additional businesses.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of the e-SERVQUAL dimension in e-commerce on e-customer loyalty. With a quantitative approach, data were collected from 97 Tokopedia e-commerce users using a structured questionnaire, and the theoretical model was tested using multiple linear regression analysis. The results found that Tokopedia's e-SERVQUAL variable which includes Efficiency, Personal Need, Reliability, Responsiveness, Site Organization, User Friendliness as a whole has an effect on e-customer loyalty. However, partially, not all variables have a direct effect on Tokopedia's e-customer loyalty, namely the Efficiency, Responsiveness, and Site Organization variables. The other variables that have a direct effect are Personal Need, Reliability, and User Friendliness.
