Abstract

WHO said that adolescents are in the age range of 10-19 years, and in accordance with the regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 25 of 2014, said that adolescents are in the age range of 10-18 years and according to the Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) the age range Teenagers are 10-24 years old and unmarried. Adolescence is a period with an age range of 10 to 24 years which is a transitional phase from childhood (dependent) to adulthood (independent) and normally occurs in human life. During this period, a teenager will experience a lot of development and growth in order to find his identity and identity. Various changes will appear both from the psychological, physical (puberty), and social environment. The purpose of community service is to prevent the occurrence of free sex for adolescents, adolescents know the growth and development of the transition period, prevent sexually transmitted diseases, norms, and ethics of Indonesian life. The method uses the Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) approach. The participants of the training activity were 35 students from Class XI SMA Private High School Amanah Tahfidz Deli Serdang. The activity was carried out on January 17, 2022. The implementation is divided into several stages, namely (1) the pre-activity stage, (2) the activity implementation stage, and (3) the evaluation stage. The development stage includes analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Reproductive health education using leaflets and stories. The activities carried out were expected to make class XI students of Amanah Tahfidz Deli Serdang Private High School more understand about reproductive health in adolescents and were closely related to preventing sex in adolescence in the pandemic era.Keywords: Community Service, Reproductive Health, Youth

Abstract

School-age children are a group of people who are expected to grow into potential human resources in the future so they need to be considered and prepared to be able to grow perfectly both physically and intellectually. Washing hands with running water is one way to prevent COVID-19, diarrhea and worms. At school age children are very susceptible to contracting the disease. The purpose of this activity is to increase children's knowledge about efforts to prevent the disease. The results of community service showed that there was an increase in knowledge about washing hands with soap in participants. It is hoped that this activity can be carried out regularly so that children as the next generation become healthier, this can increase their enthusiasm for learning.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan prokrastinasi pada siswa SMA Mulia Pratama Medan yang ditinjau dari jenis kelamin. Prokrastinasi adalah perilaku menunda nunda tugas penting akademik yang harus di selesaikan dan lebih memilih melakukan aktivitas yang dianggap lebih menyenangkan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi SMA Mulia Pratama Medan yang berjumlah 86 orang dengan rincian  laki-laki 40 orang dan perempuan 46 orang. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengampilan sampel purposive sampling. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian komparasi. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala prokrastinasi. Setelah dilakukan analisis data dengan menggunakan metode anova satu jalur ditemukan adanya perbedaan prokrastinasi yang signifikan antara laki-laki dan perempuan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,027 0,05. Meskipun demikian menurut hasil mean empirik menunjukkan hasil bahwa prokrastikasi laki-laki dan perempuan sama-sama dalam kategori tinggi diimana prokrastinasi laki-laki menunjukkan nilai empirik sebesar 148,98 dengan SD 11,922 dengan SD 18,371 dan perempuan sebesar 141,30. Perbedaan keduanya memiliki selisih hanya sebesar 7,68.

Abstract

According to WHO in 2018, 42% of babies breastfed in the last hour and 41% of babies received exclusive breast milk until the age of 6 months. Exclusive breastfeeding for babies can reduce the death rate by less than 800,000 babies. According to RISKESDA 2018, 52.5 percent - or only half of the 2.3 million babies aged less than six months - receive exclusive breast milk in Indonesia. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of mothers who have babies aged 6-12 months towards providing exclusive breast milk at Pmb Junilda Lhokseumawe, North Aceh in 2023. The design of this research is a quantitative analytical survey using a cross sectional study. The population in the study were all mothers who had babies aged 6-12 months in August at PMB Junilda Lhoksemawe, totaling 30 people and the sample used a total population of 30 mothers. The data used uses primary and secondary data. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate using the chi square test.                The design of this research is a quantitative analytical survey using a cross sectional study. The population in the study were all mothers who had babies aged 6-12 months in August at PMB Junilda Lhoksemawe, totaling 30 people and the sample used a total population of 30 mothers. The data used uses primary and secondary data. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate using the chi square test.n The research results were obtained using the chi square test. There is a relationship between the mother's knowledge of having a baby 6-12 months and exclusive breastfeeding at Junilda Independent Practicing Midwives, Lhokseumawe City in 2023 with the chi-square statistical test p = 0.001 and there is a relationship between the attitude of the mother having a baby 6-12 months. 12 months with exclusive breastfeeding at Junilda Independent Practicing Midwives, Lhokseumawe City in 2023 with the chi-square statistical test p = 0.011.<0.05. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between the knowledge and attitudes of mothers who have babies 6-12 months with exclusive breastfeeding at Junilda Independent Practicing Midwives, Lhokseumawe City in 2023. It is hoped that Junilda Midwives will further improve prevention in order to prevent failure in exclusive breastfeeding and provide information in order to provide IEC to pregnant women, post partum to provide exclusive breastfeeding

Abstract

Breastfeeding is an ideal way for mothers to give love to their children and the best way to fulfill the baby's nutrition. Breastfeeding technique is a way of giving breast milk to a mother to a baby. The study aimed to determine the average difference before and after counseling on correct breastfeeding techniques at the Pratama Hanum Tanjung Mulia Clinic, Medan City. This type of research is a quasi-experiment with a one-group pre and post-test design. The population in the study was 20 breastfeeding mothers who had babies aged 0-12 months. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Data were analyzed by carrying out normality tests and Wilcoxson tests.  Results: Before the counseling was carried out, the majority of breastfeeding techniques were 12 people (60%), while 8 people (40%) had good breastfeeding techniques. After counseling, it was found that 2 people (10%) had poor breastfeeding techniques, while 18 mothers (90%) had good breastfeeding techniques. From the results of the analysis using the Wilcoxson test, a significant value of p = 0.002 < 0.05 was obtained. There is an influence of Breastfeeding Technique Counseling on Breastfeeding Practices for Breastfeeding Mothers at the Pratama Hanum Tanjung Mulia Clinic. It is recommended that health workers at the Pratama Hanum Tanjung Mulia Clinic, Medan City, be more effective in providing understanding to mothers about correct breastfeeding techniques.   Keywords: Breastfeeding Techniques, Breastfeeding Practices, Breastfeeding Mothers

Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that 5-25% of preschool children suffer from minor brain dysfunction, including impaired fine motor development. About 9% of children experience anxiety disorders, 11-15% are easily emotional, 9-15% are behavioral disorders. Around 16% of toddlers in Indonesia are reported to experience developmental disorders in the form of intelligence disorders due to brain development disorders, hearing problems and motor disorders. Impaired growth and development in children in Indonesia is classified as a major public health problem. The aim of the research is to determine the influence of the mosaic technique on the fine motor development of preschool-age children in Pondok Buluh Village, Dolok Panribuan District, Simalungun Regency in 2023. This research design is Quasi Experimental with one group pre test post test. The total population, namely all preschool children in Pondok Buluh village, Dolok Panribuan District, Simalungun Regency, was 25 people and the sample used accidental sampling, namely 17 respondents. The data used uses primary and secondary data. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate using non-parametric samples with mosaic technique tests has an influence on the motoric development of preschool children in Pondok Buluh Village, Dolok Panribuan District, Simalungun Regency.The research results were obtained using the T test with results showing sig-α 0.000 < 0.05. The mosaic technique has an influence on the motor development of preschool children in Pondok Buluh Village, Dolok Panribuan District, Simalungun Regency. The conclusion is that there is an influence of the mosaic technique on the motor development of preschool children in Pondok Buluh Village, Dolok Panribuan District, Simalungun Regency in 2023. It is hoped that pregnant women will seek information about the importance of prenatal check-ups at least 6 times during pregnancy. Keywords : Mosaic, motor development, pre-school children
