Abstract

Pembagunan Perumahan X di Kabupaten Bandung mengakibatkan perubahan fungsi lahan dari persawahan menjadi permukiman sehingga mengurangi daerah resapan air. Hal ini mengakibatkan terjadinya banjir. Penggunaan air tanah berlebih di perumahan ini dapat mengakibatkan berkurangnya volume air tanah dan turunnya permukaan tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan sumur resapan untuk mengendalikan limpasan air hujan dan konservasi air tanah. Acuan yang digunakan dalam perencanaan sumur resapan adalah SNI 8456:2017 tentang sumur dan parit resapan air hujan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan sumur resapan di Perumahan X dapat dilakukan karena nilai permeabilitas tanah, jarak minimum bangunan, dan kedalaman air tanah yang memenuhi persyaratan. Perencanaan sumur resapan terbagi menjadi enam zona pelayanan dengan menggunakan tipe IV beton porous. Sumur resapan yang direncanakan merupakan sumur komunal dengan kedalaman 4 m dan diameter 1. Jumlah sumur resapan yang diperlukan adalah 67 unit yang tersebar di semua area perumahan. Perencanaan sumur resapan memiliki efektivitas reduksi debit limpasan 94,81%. Biaya yang diperlukan adalah Rp283.611.000. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan sumur resapan dapat mengandalikan debit limpasan air hujan dan konservasi air tanah.

Abstract

Northern part of Bekasi Regency (Pantura Bekasi) has diverse land: a port area, fisheries, marine tourism, agriculture, residential, industrial and government. Various types of development are occured to support the  community welfare. Developments occur without considering sustainability will result in a decline of environmental conditions, and each region will have its own ability to anticipate the impacts of changes that occurs. This research studied coastal vulnerability in the Pantura Bekasi and the relationship between their coastal physical parameters and the vulnerability. Field observations were also conducted as field validation and perceive current conditions. The results show that vulnerability is very high in Fishery port (PPI) Muara Jaya port zone (Mekar Coast), and low vulnerability occurred in Taruma Jaya port zone (Taruma Jaya Coast). Two paramaters are different in these two locations, they are coastline change and geomorphological. The coastline change at Mekar Coast is abrasion, and Taruma Jaya Coast is accretion. The geomorphological at Mekar Coast are a muddy beach and delta, while Taruma Jaya Coast is a swampy beach. Field conditions show that Mekar Coast has low mangrove density, while Taruma Jaya Coast has high mangrove density. These results hopefully can be used as policy consideration for the local government in optimizing coastal management planning, where the spatial plan for Pantai Mekar Beach is designated as a conservation area and demersal fisheries, while on Pantai Taruma Jaya as a public use area such as for Gas and Steam Power Plant (PLTGU) Muara Tawar, PPI Paljaya and port zone.

Abstract

Heavy metal pollution in river ecosystems has the potential to disrupt the environmental balance and endanger human health, thus requiring a study of metal content in water and sediment segments. This study aims to analyze the concentrations of cadmium (Cd), chromium (Cr), and copper (Cu) in river water and sediments and compare them with the quality standards set by Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021. Sampling was conducted purposively at several stations in the upper, middle, and lower reaches of the river, then analyzed using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) after undergoing preparation and wet destruction processes. The results showed that the levels of Cd, Cr, and Cu in sediments were generally higher than in water, indicating the role of sediments as a medium for metal accumulation. At point 3, the concentration of Cu in the sediment exceeded the ISQC Low ANZECC threshold value of >65 mg/kg, while the Cr and Cu levels in the water exceeded the class 2 quality standards of >0.05 and >0.02 mg/L. Overall, the quality of river water and sediment is greatly influenced by industrial waste, thus requiring efforts to control sources of pollution and regular monitoring in the study area.
