Abstract

Train is an efficient public transportation that need to be developed. Currently, the development of railway infrastructures is already showing some improvements. One of them is the completion of Jakarta-Surabaya double track. With the construction of the double track, the railway capacity increased. However, research on the railway capacity in Indonesia is still limited. There was still inefficiency in using the railway capacity by the operator. This research aims to investigate the factors that affect the capacity and the relationship between railway capacities and train accidents. The data required were obtained from PT Kereta Api (Persero) and  the Ministry of Transportation and from site visits. The data were then abstracted and analysed. It was found that there was a decrease in the number of accidents in 2010 - 2014, with a variety of causes such as: infrastructure, facilities, human and external factors. The construction of a doubl-track railway had contributed to the decline of the accidents. This is due to the construction of a double track increased the railway capacity. It resulted in the loss of intersection or crossing points. Those crossing points were the critical points of the accidents. The declining of forwarding of train travel increased speed and travel time. The increase of capacity and safety  finally improved the train services for both passengers and goods.

Abstract

Infrastructures should be planned and designed based on the required capacity in the future to provide good service. Methods of railway capacity that is commonly used in Indonesia is still adopted from other countries. It is then modified but it is currently still inefficiencies because operators have not dared to use to the fullest method of railway capacity. Therefore, the calculation methods of railway capacity should be reviewed and developed as well based on the reality in Indonesia. It is expected that the efficiency of railway operation system increases. The analysis was performed with the following steps; collecting the secondary data and the literature reviews. The results of the literature reviews stated that there are various factors that affect the railway capacity; the number of trains, heterogeneity, stability, speed, infrastructures, operation system, train length, time delay, junctions, intermediate signals, resources, scheduling, number of tracks, signal distance, termination, and maintenance. Based on the literature study, it is required further research on the development of the capacity calculation model for railway in Indonesia.

Abstract

Nganjuk Station is a class 1 (one) station located in Mangundikaran, Nganjuk city, included in the 7 Madiun Operational Area. During the Covid-19 pandemic at Nganjuk Station, health protocols were applied to prevent or reduce the transmission of the corona virus following the regulation of the Minister of Transportation No. PM 18 of 2020. This study aims to determine the level of satisfaction with the application of health protocols at Nganjuk Station during the Covid-19 pandemic and what attributes must be maintained or improved. This study uses the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) in calculating how much the passenger's perception of satisfaction with the application of health protocols is, and uses the IPA (Importance Performances Analysis) method to identify which attributes are very important and need improvement for passengers to improve the implementation of health protocols in Indonesia. Nganjuk Station. From the results of this study, the level of satisfaction of prospective passengers with the application of health protocols is 84.97%, which is included in the Very Satisfied category.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan penggunaan UAV Drone dalam survey pemetaan bidang perkeretaapian, studi kasus untuk penggunaan UAV Drone yang disosialisasikan adalah dalam bidang survey pemetaan untuk perencanaan jalur KA dan monitoring ballas jalan rel. Materi diberikan kepada siswa SMK dengan materi terdiri dari pengenalan, proses pengambilan data, pengolahan data dan penampilan hasil. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan dapat memahami materi yang diberikan sampai dengan 87% dan selusuh peserta merasa tertarik untuk mendalami lebih lanjut penggunaan UAV Drone untuk kegiatan survey pemetaan.

Abstract

Lempuyangan Railway  Station is  located  in  Jogjakarta.  To  get  to  or  to  leave  the  station passengers  using  the  railway  services  take  other modes, such  as becak,  buses, taxis, and motorcycles (ojek). The  process of  mode  changing  is  very  importanl.  To  do so,  passengers  have to  walk  to  the  next  mode  stop  and  sometimes they  have to  wait for the  vehicle  arrival.  Research was undertaken  to investigate  the  performance  of  the  mode  changing  process,  in terms  of waiting  time and walking  distance,  based  on  site measurement  and  on what passengers perceived,  to  model the  relationship  between  the  performance  expected  and what  perceived  by the  passengers,  and to  evaluate  the  performance  using  standards set  by Directorate General of Land  Transport.  It  was found that  based  on both direct measurement  and  passengers perception,  the  performance  of  the changing  process  was  good.  There was a very good relationship between  what expected  and  what  perceived  by passengers.  The  waiting  time  and walking  distance  met  the  standards  required.Kata  kunci:  perpindahan  moda,  waktu  tunggu,  jarak  berjalan  kaki.

Abstract

The Railway Maintenance Center as stated in the Regulation has the duty and function of carrying out the maintenance of state-owned railway facilities. The part of rolling stock heavy maintenance with high potential hazard is Lifting Body Activities Using OHTC in Maintenance of Hydraulic Diesel Locomotive Facilities activity. it so there is a need for a risk assessment which is a process to determine control priorities for the level of risk work accident or occupational disease. Part of  OHSAS 18001:2007 Clouse 4.3.1. recommendation HIRADC methode for can support a safety system with 3 stage analisys (hazard identification, risk assessment, and control determination) The Hazard Identification  results obtained 3 aspects of hazard risk in OHTC Rolling stock Body Lifting operations with the following analysis results Crane toppling, Equipment failure, Load falling with Death & asset / property damage impact factor. Risk Assessment analisys of Rolling stock Body Lifting using OHTC obtained results action taken when resources are available regarding handling which in general were Administrative Control. Determine Control relevant steps to minimize potential hazards immediately (1) Evaluating SOP Rolling stock Body Lifting and conduct outreach to all employees related to the work, (2) Making and or adding hazard signs and (3) Human development by conducting Training/Refreshment Crane Operator and Signal man. (4) Strictness of the rules for using PPE for all employees related to the work as the last step in minimizing the risk of occupational hazards.

Abstract

Tingkat kesadaran keselamatan berkendara pengguna jalan di perlintasan sebidang masih cukup rendah, sehingga peran Penjaga Lintas Perkeretaapian menjadi sangat penting untuk memahami dan melaksanakan langkah Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) serta melaksanakan pertolongan pertama pada kecelakaan (P3K). Sosialisasi Kesehatan Dan Keselamatan Kerja Kepada Penjaga Jalan Lintasan (PJL) Persimpangan Sebidang Jawa Timur Dengan Metode Praktik dilakukan untuk menambah pemahaman dan kemampuan petugas dalam meminimilasir resiko kecelakaan kerja di area pos jaga perlintasan sebidang. Tahapan sosialisasi meliputi (a) penyampaian Tujuan Pembelajaran yaitu meliputi peserta memiliki pengetahuan dan mampu melalukan identifikasi bahaya ditempat kerja, peserta mampu mengembangkan sistem kontrol kerja dan manajemen pencegahan kecelakaan di area kerja dan peserta mengetahui dan mampu melaksanakan pertolongan pertama pada kecelakaan (P3K)., (b) penyampaian materi pembelajaran meliputi pemahaman Bahaya dan Risiko, identifikasi Bahaya dan penilian resiko, job Safety Analysis, pengendalian Bahaya dan Risiko, dan dasar Pertolongan Pertama pada kecelakaan (P3K), (c) Mendemonstrasikan Unjuk Kerja dan Latihan Praktik/Simulasi dengan pengambilan keputusan mitigasi bahaya menggunakan standar OHSAS 18001 serta kegiatan observasi lapangan menggunakan metode Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Determining Control (HIRADC), sehingga diharapkan peserta dapat memahami teori dan mampu melaksanakan praktek Pertolongan Pertama pada Kecelakaan (P3K). Hasil wawancara kepada petugas yang telah mengikuti sosialisasi tersebut dapat membantu proses uji kompetensi Sertifikat Kecakapan Penjaga Perlintasan Kereta Api

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini didasarkan oada hasil dan tindak lanjut penelitianWawan Riyanta (2023)berjudul HIRADC Analysis for Rolling Stock Body Lifting Ngrombo Railway Maintenance Center , dari Analisis HIRADC Rolling stock Body Lifting menggunakan OHTC didapatkan hasil mengenai penanganganan yang secara garis besar pada Administrative Control. Langkah relevan untuk memimalasir potensi bahaya dengan segera (1) melakukan evaluasi SOP Rolling stock Body Lifting serta melakukan sosialisasi kepada seluruh pegawai yang berkaitan dengan pekerjaan tersebut, (2) Pembuatan dan atau penambahan rambu bahaya serta (3) Human development dengan melakukan Pelatihan/Refreshment Operator Crane serta Signal man. (4) Ketegasan aturan penggunaan PPE kepada seluruh pegawai yang berkaitan dengan pekerjaan tersebut sebagai langkah terakhir dalam meminimalisir risiko bahaya kerja. Pada tahapan ini, dilakukan penelaahan SOP yang sudah ada serta dikomparasi dengan standar yang digunakan pada Permenaker No 08 /2020 Tentang K3 Pesawat Angkat & Pesawat Angkut serta penggunaan PPE kepada seluruh pegawai merujuk pada Permenaker 08/2010 Tentang Alat Pelindung Diri dan Peraturan Menteri Perhubungan Republik Indonesia Nomor Pm 69 Tahun 2018 Tentang Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan Perkeretaapian. Sosialisasi dengan metode diskusi kepada pegawai Balai Perawatan Perkeretaapian Ngrombo didapatkan data perbaikan SOP Rolling stock Body Lifting menggunakan OHTC dan penggunaan APD yang lebih implementatif serta dapat ditingkatkan pada tahapan penyusunan SOP baru oleh pihak Balai Perawatan Perkeretaapian Ngrombo. Melakukan pembahasan mendalam mengenai hasil analisis, diskusi interaktif SOP Rolling stock Body Lifting menggunakan OHTC dan Penggunaan APD dengan Tim Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja Balai Perawatan Perkeretaapian Ngrombo. Pembahasan mengacu pada poin-poin rujukan dari hasil hasil analisis dan diskusi interaktif yang dapat segera di implementasikan.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat di Universitas Surakarta Fakultas Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan dengan judul “Sharing Knowledge mengenai Jalur dan Bangunan Perkeretaapian” bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan baru mengenai komponen jalur rel, spesifikasi teknis jalan rel, bangunan stasiun kereta api, jembatan kereta api, dan terowongan kereta api, kepada mahasiswa teknik sipil dan perencanaan, karena kurikulum pada program studi teknik sipil dan perencanaan di Universitas Surakarta belum membahas mengenai hal-hal tersebut. Pada kegiatan ini diharapkan supaya seluruh mahasiwa dapat dengan mudah menangkap materi-materi mengenai jalan rel dengan upaya persiapan materi yang ringkas dan jelas, didukung dengan SDM yang berkualitas karena merupakan dosen Teknik sipil murni yang berkompeten di bidang prasarana perkeretaapian. Dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, tim terlebih dahulu survei lokasi yang akan dituju, kemudian memberikan surat ijin resmi. Sebelumnya, seluruh tim menyiapkan bahan dan materi yang akan diberikan dalam bentuk modul. Pada saat pelaksanaan, tim memberikan paparan mengenai jalan rel beserta penjelasan melalui gambar nyata di lapangan.

Abstract

Community service activities are carried out by providing training to Railway Maintenance Center employees in using the Messreg CDM which is used to measure the width of railroad tracks and obtain other parameters, such as elevation, widening, twist, back-to-back distance and several other parameters. Training activities are carried out by providing class material regarding the components/parts of the Messreg CDM measuring instrument, and how to download measurement results and analyze and compare them with applicable standards. Next is the practice of measuring in the field, which is carried out on train tracks in the Railway Maintenance Center workshop. The practice here is carried out so that participants understand more about the Messreg CDM measuring instrument because they learn how to assemble it, set up a laptop, carry out measurements and troubleshoot problems that might occur. After the training, the Railway Maintenance Center employees who took part in the training showed increased ability, both in operating and analyzing data obtained from measurement results. This will of course support the implementation of the duties and functions of the Railway Maintenance Center
