Abstract

Politeknik Perkeretaapian Indonesia Madiun yang berlokasi di Jl. Tirta Raya Kec. Manguharjo Madiun Jawa Timur adalah tempat menyelenggarakan pendidikan vokasi dan diklat perkeretaapian. Selain itu, Politeknik Perkeretaapian Indonesia Madiun juga sebagai tempat penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Wisata edukasi perkeretaapian merupakan salah satu bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat Kegiatan wisata edukasi ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada peserta siswa TK (Tingkat Kanak-Kanak) maupun RA (Raudhatul Athfal) tentang perkeretaapian. Kegiatan dimulai dengan berkumpul di lapangan untuk mendengarkan arahan dan informasi dari panitia dan guru, edukasi tata cara pembelian tiket kereta api, melihat simulasi pengoperasian kereta api di laboratorium simulator, dan melihat sejarah perkembangan kereta api. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan peserta siswa TK dan RA dapat mengikuti dan memahami edukasi pada perkeretaapian dalam bentuk wisata di Politeknik Perkeretaapian Indonesia Madiun.

Abstract

Kunci keselamatan dalam berkendara adalah berkendara dengan disiplin, menghormati pengendara lain, dan beretika saat berkendara. Sampai saat ini masih terdapat pengendara yang kurang memperhatikan kunci keselamatan berkendara. Hal ini dikarenakan masyarakat belum sadar akan pentingnya pengetahuan mengenai keselamatan berkendara. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya cara yang efektif untuk mengedukasi masyarakat tentang pentingnya pengetahuan keselamatan berkendara melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dengan melakukan sosialisasi keselamatan perkeretaapian di SDN Ngujung II Magetan. Sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi para siswa untuk mengetahui aspek hukum perkeretaapian dan semboyan perkeretaapian. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan siswa SDN Ngujung II Magetan dapat memahami aspek hukum perkeretaapian dan semboyan perkeretaapian.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil kajian oleh Kementerian Perhubungan-Ditjen Perkeretaapian (Satker Peningkatan dan Pembinaan Transportasi Perkeretaapian) dalam kegiatan penyusunan studi kelayakan diambil beberapa kesimpulan antara lain Estimasi permintaan perjalanan kereta api (potensi demand) pada tahun pertama operasi (2015) berkisar 844.920 pnp/thn (cenario optimis), 675.936 pnp/thn (cenario moderat) dan 506.452 pnp/thn (cenario pesimis). Lebih lanjut estimasi permintaan perjalanan barang pad tahun pertama operasi (2015) sejumlah 796.954 ton/ thn (cenario otimis), 637.563 ton/thn (cenario moderat) dan 478.172 ton/thn (cenario pesimis) (Astuti, Soimun, and Krisna 2019)(Soimun et al. 2022)(Kementerian Perhubungan Ditjen Perkeretaapian 2011). Dalam penelitian yang dilakukan sebelumnya oleh (Astuti et al., 2019) tentang alternatif pemilihan trase kereta api di Kabupaten Bangkalan menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process belum dilakukan perencanaan komponen jalan rel pada trase terpilih. Oleh sebab itu  penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan komponen-komponen jalan rel untuk trase terpilih. Hasil dari analisa dan pembahasan didapatkan untuk perencanaan trase terpilih termasuk dalam kelas jalan rel V dengan nilai daya angkut lintas pada trase terpilih sebesar 847.649,2 ton/thn < 2,5 Juta ton/thn, untuk hasil analisa geometri pada trase terpilih dilakukan perencanaan awal jalur dari eks Stasiun Sukolilo (lama) melewati eks Stasiun Sukolilo (baru) hingga ke eks Stasiun Tonjung, Jalur Kereta Api yang direncanakan memiliki panjang 12.713 msp serta perhitungan komponen-komponen jalan rel pada trase terpilih yang didapatkan dari hasil perhitungan antara lain untuk rel menggunakan tipe R.42, panjang minimum rel panjang 200 m, plat sambung yang digunakan tipe 40 H, alat penambat berupa penambat elastis E Clip, untuk bantalan menggunakan jenis bantalan prategang dengan kuat tekan K 600.

Abstract

In accordance with the National Education System Law No. 20 of 2003, article 3 concerning National Education Goals and explained in article 15 that vocational education is secondary education that prepares students especially to work in certain fields which means that Vocational High Schools (SMK) aim to prepare graduates who are ready to work[1][2]. Job opportunities in the world of railways are very large, so it is necessary to provide initial or basic knowledge related to railway infrastructure, especially buildings and railway lines, to prospective graduates of the Central Java State Vocational School in Semarang in the field of Construction and Property Business expertise so that they have more knowledge in the field of railways as a provision to enter the world of work. The results of providing material in the form of Railway Infrastructure Knowledge Technical Guidance found that the technical guidance participants were very enthusiastic and enthusiastic.

Abstract

Community service activities are carried out by providing training to Railway Maintenance Center employees in using the Messreg CDM which is used to measure the width of railroad tracks and obtain other parameters, such as elevation, widening, twist, back-to-back distance and several other parameters. Training activities are carried out by providing class material regarding the components/parts of the Messreg CDM measuring instrument, and how to download measurement results and analyze and compare them with applicable standards. Next is the practice of measuring in the field, which is carried out on train tracks in the Railway Maintenance Center workshop. The practice here is carried out so that participants understand more about the Messreg CDM measuring instrument because they learn how to assemble it, set up a laptop, carry out measurements and troubleshoot problems that might occur. After the training, the Railway Maintenance Center employees who took part in the training showed increased ability, both in operating and analyzing data obtained from measurement results. This will of course support the implementation of the duties and functions of the Railway Maintenance Center

Abstract

This research analyzes the strength of the upper structure of plate girders BH 1385 KM 347 + 431 between Karanggandul - Purwokerto on the downstream route of Cirebon-Kroya. The analysis includes assessing its capacity to withstand the locomotive series CC 206 load, considering its construction history since 1917 and the planned load in 1911. The bridge's steel profile was measured for technical drawings involving the steel profile's inertia with hole elongation. Working loads were manually analyzed and compared with SAP 2000 application results. The analysis indicates a deflection of 0.717 cm manually and 0.624 cm with SAP 2000, with bending stresses of 0.903 T/cm2 and 0.592 T/cm2, respectively. Both results remain below the allowable deflection limit of 1.35 cm and the stress limit of 1.300 T/cm2, confirming the bridge's current safety. These calculations serve as a reference for the bridge's safety. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini menganalisis kekuatan struktur bagian atas jembatan baja tipe rasuk plat BH 1385 KM 347 + 431 di antara Karanggandul - Purwokerto, jalur hilir Cirebon-Kroya. Analisis mencakup kemampuan jembatan menahan beban lokomotif seri CC 206 dengan mempertimbangkan sejarah konstruksi sejak 1917 dengan rencana muatan rencana tahun 1911. Pengukuran profil baja jembatan dilakukan untuk gambar teknis dan perhitungan melibatkan inersia profil baja dengan perlemahan lubang keling. Beban-beban yang bekerja kemudian dianalisis secara manual dan dibandingkan dengan hasil aplikasi SAP 2000. Hasil menunjukkan lendutan jembatan sebesar 0,717 cm secara manual dan 0,624 cm dengan SAP 2000, serta tegangan lentur masing-masing 0,903 T/cm2 dan 0,592 T/cm2. Kedua hasil tetap di bawah izin maksimum lendutan 1,35 cm dan tegangan 1,300 T/cm2, menunjukkan jembatan masih aman menahan beban saat ini. Hasil perhitungan ini dapat digunakan sebagai acuan keamanan jembatan.

Abstract

This quantitative descriptive study evaluated the use of Autodesk Revit in the 3D BIM Applications course in the Building Engineering Education Study Program, based on the perceptions of 76 students. The results showed very positive student perceptions, with ease of use rated very good (81%), followed by learning motivation (79%), learning benefits (77%), and facility support (70%), all of which were rated good. Students perceived Revit as effective for 3D modeling, facilitating the understanding of BIM concepts, and relevant to the needs of the construction industry, thus enhancing learning motivation and career readiness. However, the study identified key challenges related to facility support, such as insufficient practice time, technical device constraints, and software installation difficulties. Qualitative data supported these findings, with students suggesting additional practice hours, the provision of video tutorials, and improved laboratory facilities. In conclusion, the implementation of Autodesk Revit was deemed effective from a student perspective, but strengthening the technology infrastructure and developing project-based learning methods is needed to optimize the preparation of competitive graduates in the era of construction digitalization. ABSTRAKPenelitian deskriptif kuantitatif ini mengevaluasi penggunaan Autodesk Revit dalam mata kuliah Aplikasi BIM 3D di Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan, berdasarkan persepsi 76 mahasiswa. Hasilnya menunjukkan persepsi mahasiswa yang sangat positif, di mana aspek kemudahan penggunaan dinilai sangat baik (81%), diikuti oleh motivasi belajar (79%), manfaat pembelajaran (77%), dan dukungan fasilitas (70%) yang semuanya dinilai baik. Mahasiswa merasa Revit efektif untuk pemodelan 3D, mempermudah pemahaman konsep BIM, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan industri konstruksi, sehingga meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan kesiapan karier. Meskipun demikian, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi tantangan utama pada dukungan fasilitas, seperti waktu praktik yang kurang, kendala teknis perangkat, dan kesulitan instalasi perangkat lunak. Data kualitatif memperkuat temuan ini, dengan mahasiswa menyarankan penambahan jam praktik, penyediaan tutorial video, dan peningkatan fasilitas laboratorium. Kesimpulannya, implementasi Autodesk Revit dinilai efektif dari sudut pandang mahasiswa, namun diperlukan penguatan infrastruktur teknologi dan pengembangan metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek untuk mengoptimalkan penyiapan lulusan yang kompetitif di era digitalisasi konstruksi.

Abstract

This study uses the fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (FAHP) method to determine the maintenance priorities of railroad components on the section between Caruban Station - Babadan Station KM 155+000 to KM 157+200. FAHP was applied to evaluate and prioritize based on criteria including human resources, material, cost, risk, and level of damage, with participation from experts and academics. FAHP analysis showed that risk was the first-order criterion in priority assessment with a value of 0.31, followed by damage level with a value of 0.29, cost with a value of 0.17, material with a value of 0.14, and human resources with a value of 0.10. The resulting maintenance prioritization shows that ballast addition is the most urgent measure with the highest priority value of 0.54, followed by rail and sleeper maintenance with values of 0.27 and 0.18 respectively. The results of this analysis indicate a need for 1,456.60 m3 of additional ballast as a priority measure in the repair of railroad components in the studied segments.

Abstract

The construction of road pavements at level crossings typically employs flexible asphalt pavements, which are prone to peeling and damage. It has been stated that the pavement structure at at-grade crossings between roads and railway tracks should differ from the pavement structure in sections approaching the crossing. The pavement structure at at-grade crossings is recommended to have greater strength than the pavement structure on existing road sections, such as the use of rigid concrete pavements (Prasarana, 2004). In this research, the road pavement at the JPL 136 at-grade crossing in Madiun City is planned to use rigid cement concrete pavement, with the construction calculation using the cement concrete pavement planning method (Ministry of Public Works and Housing, 2003). After analysis, a rigid cement concrete pavement construction with a thickness of 150 mm, a compressive strength of 35 MPa, longitudinal reinforcement D16-170, and transverse reinforcement D12-100 with BJTS 420 A type was obtained.
