Abstract

The intention of doing the research is to formulate an assessment model of higher education IT governance capability, by integrating two frameworks, namely COBIT 5 and ITIL V3. Currently, there is no academic organization that has fully formulated a measurement model for IT governance capabilities that can be adopted to manage both governance and services. To achieve the goal of this research will be measured needs to be done using the COBIT 5 framework as a tool to get the capability level of IT governance. Next will measure the level of capability of existing IT services with ITIL V3. The proposed model was obtained from the measurement activities using COBIT 5 domain, namely EDM02, EDM03, APO01, APO04, APO07, APO12, and APO13. After measuring, sevens processes that lead to IT governance and IT services are evaluated, namely evaluating, directing, and overseeing the delivery of benefits and managing IT service portfolios and optimizing risks; manage IT management frameworks and carry out seven steps to improve IT processes; managing innovations in higher education; managing human resources; managing capacity; manage risk and manage information security. The model generated from this research is expected to serve as a best practice for Universities in Indonesia in implementing Good IT Governance

Abstract

Abstrak— Perguruan tinggi diharapkan mampu menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang berpengetahuan juga kreatif. faktor penilaian perguruan tinggi adalah persentase kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan studi. Saat ini, masalah student loses dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya telah menjadi topik yang menarik untuk diteliti. Institusi perlu mendeteksi kinerja mahasiswa yang berstatus "student loses" sehingga dapat diidentifikasi. Dengan metode klasifikasi algoritma C4.5 dalam mengambil keputusan yang dianggap memiliki kinerja yang baik, tetapi algoritma C4.5 memiliki beberapa kelemahan terhadap data yang tidak seimbang, yaitu dataset yang berbeda dua kelas yang berbeda antara kelas mayoritas dan kelas minoritas, berpengaruh pada algoritma C4.5, yang menghasilkan nilai hasil akurasi kurang optimal pada algoritma C4,5 untuk mengurangi pengaruh ketidakseimbangan kelas pada klasifikasi C4.5, maka perlu dilakukan pendekatan metode Split Feature Reduction Model hal ini dilakukan untuk memberi bobot pada setiap fitur yang direkomendasikan, sehingga ditemukan fitur yang merupakan klasifikasi yang kuat, berdasarkan perangkingan pada setiap fitur agar dapat direkomendasikan pada klasifikasi C4.5 dalam proses klasifikasi Hasil menunjukkan bahwa, kinerja akurasi klasifikasi C4.5 pada dataset mahasiswa  dengan pendekatan SFRM sebelum proses Pengujian, 10 fold cross-validation, menunjukkan tingkat akurasi klasifikasi yang lebih baik yaitu akurasi 98% dalam penanganan ketidakseimbangan kelas.

Abstract

Penerimaan mahasiswa baru merupakan langkah dasar agar proses belajar mengajar tetap berjalan. Setiap tahunnya mahasiswa baru yang mendaftar dapat mengalami peningkatan dan juga mengalami penurunan. Untuk itu prediksi sangat penting bagi perguruan tinggi sebagai bahan pendukung dalam pembuatan keputusan, strategi dan kebijakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses analisis runtun waktu dan hasil prediksi penerimaan mahasiswa baru di masa yang akan datang. Model yang digunakan dalam prediksi adalah model Prophet Facebook dan menggunakan dataset mahasiswa baru TA 2010/2011 sampai TA 2019/2020. Tahapan penelitian mengacu pada metode OSEMN yaitu Obtain data, Scrubbing data, Explore data, Modeling data, dan Intetpreting data. Hasil analisis untuk keseluruhan data mengalami penurunan di setiap tahunnya dan nilai rata-rata MAPE sebesar 0.04327568 %  yang berarti model prediksi yang dihasilkan sangat baik  karena <10% dengan tingkat akurasi sebesar 99,6%. Kata kunci: Prophet Facebook, prediksi, runtun waktu

Abstract

IT (Information Technology) governance is an important thing in every organization where at this time Information Technology has become an important role in the sustainability of an organization. Therefore, to produce good organizational goals, good IT governance is needed as well. In this study, there are several problems that must be managed by the organization but have been summarized in the problem of resource optimization. To solve these problems, the COBIT 5 framework was chosen as a framework that would become a reference for solving these problems. There are 16 processes that will solve organizational problems, namely EDM02, EDM04, APO01, APO03, APO04, APO07, APO08, APO10, APO13, BAI01, BAI02, BAI04, DSS01, DSS03, DSS04, MEA01 and using PAM (Process Assessment Model) as tools to evaluate. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of organizational IT capabilities, and to analyze the gap between the organizational target value (to be) and the capability value obtained by the current organization (to be). After knowing the gap value, this value will be used as a basis for producing a recommendation for improvement for the organization.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effect of attitude on mobile banking acceptance using the extended UTAUT Model. Specifically, surveying the Medan city area covered 392 mobile banking users from several banks. By using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and SmartPLS software. This research’s man contribution is introducing attitude variables in the combination of UTAUT models, task technology fit, and trust, which have a significant effect on behavior intention. Based on this study results, it shows that social influence and attitude are a significant effect on behavior intention,facilitating condition, and behavior intention is a significant effect use behavior of mobile banking users from several banks. While performance expectancy, effort expectancy, task technology fit, and trust didn’t significantly effect on the behavior intention of mobile banking users from several banks. This Research implies two important policymakers’ findings. First, Banking Management needs to ensure that it always makes necessary improvements in simplifying technology to understand it easily. Second, need to ensure that we regularly evaluate the performance of mobile banking users from several banks to mae benefits of using M-Banking technology to support financial transactions needs.

Abstract

The partner in the Community Service Program (PkM) is Hotel Alvina Pematangsiantar. Seeing the need for Hotel Alvina for the use of information technology that seems not optimal, especially in supporting media ads platform. To support a better promotion, it is necessary to have a website that can increase the capacity of promotion and visitors. The implementation of the PkM program refers to a qualitative approach and is combined with the stages in the Software Development Lifecycle which have been modified into 6 stages, starting from initiation, design, data migration, development, implementation, and maintenance. The resulting website can be used by Hotel Alvina to manage hotel information, such as contact us, about us, blogs, and galleries. The website is also supported by online reservation facilities that can be used by visitors. The website that has been successfully implemented is expected to increase services and promotions for Hotel Alvina, so that it can compete and develop in a sustainability.

Abstract

PT. Global Comtech Sejahtera Medan, a company that specializes in civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering (CME), is a Community Service Program (PkM) partner. The company's issue is that project planning, budgeting, and progress are not documented, making decision-making difficult. As a result of these constraints, the Project Management Dashboard (SIMPRO) program must be used to strengthen project management. Beginning with identifying and analyzing problems, determining requirements, designing applications, developing applications, integrating, testing, and mentoring. SIMPRO was developed with reference to the stages in the Software Development Method that were modified with the goal of making it more flexible and easier to achieve the goals that had been set. SIMPRO can keep track of project operations, RAB planning, payments, project costs, petty cash, project status, and reporting. A online dashboard and a mobile application are both included into the program. Project Control (PC) uses the mobile application to report project status in the field, ensuring that the working relationship between PC and Project Manager (PM) runs smoothly and that managed projects are completed on time

Abstract

Let’sing merupakan perancangan antarmuka aplikasi mobile yang bergerak dibidang tarik suara. Kegiatan pencarian guru vokal masih memakan waktu cukup lama, sulitnya menentukan kesesuaian tempat dan waktu antara guru vokal dan murid, kurangnya informasi tentang kemampuan seorang guru vokal tersebut sehingga kriterianya tidak sesuai dengan yang diiginkan. Metodologi yang digunakan untuk menganalisis masalah dan mencari solusi permasalahan adalah metodologi design sprint yang memiliki 5 tahapan yaitu understand, diverge, decide, prototype, validate. Oleh karena itu, untuk membantu permasalahan tersebut penulis membuat rancangan baru yang membantu memudahkan pencarian guru vokal. Hasil dari analisis dan perancangan aplikasi mobile let’sing diharapkan dapat membantu murid mendapatkan informasi kriteria dan kemampuan berupa biodata, pengalaman, prestasi dan cara mengajar dari guru vokal dan dapat mempersingkat waktu pencarian dan pemesanan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui permasalahan yang dihadapi pengguna dalam penggunaan portal akademik UNIMED yang diukur menggunakan metode Heuristic dengan 10 aspek heuristik oleh Nielsen dan metode System Usability Scale (SUS) melalui penilaian pengguna. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif Fakultas Ekonomi UNIMED di mana jumlah smapel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 357 orang mahasiswa. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner dengan bantuan Google Form. Hasil penelitian dengan metode Heuristic menghasilkan nilai rata-rata severity rating dari 10 aspek heuristik adalah sebesar 1,08 atau skala 1 dimana tingkat permasalahan rendah, yang berarti masalah ini tidak terlalu mempengaruhi pengguna serta perbaikan tidak terlalu dibutuhkan, dan perolehan dengan metode kuesioner System Usability Scale (SUS) adalah sebesar 76,9 dengan tingkat penerimaan pengguna atau acceptability ranges masuk dalam kategori Acceptable, tingkat grade scale masuk dalam kategori C, adjektif rating masuk dalam kategori Good, sedangkan berdasarkan penilaian percentile rank SUS skor sebesar 76,9 berada pada grade B. Namun secara umum hasil penilaian reponden terhadap portal akademik UNIMED dengan metode SUS dapat dikatakan baik atau dapat dimanfaatkan oleh mahasiswa.

Abstract

IT governance evaluation can help organizations to improve the quality of IT services, reduce risks, maximize IT performance and achieve their goals effectively. Mikroskil University is one of the universities that utilize the use of IT in supporting its business processes. Mikroskil University has an IT unit/department that is responsible for IT management and IT governance as well as dealing with IT/IS-related issues, namely the Information System and Digital Transformation (SITD). Based on the initial study conducted, several problems arise in higher education IT governance, so it is necessary to carry out an evaluation. This evaluation uses the COBIT 2019 framework because it is more flexible and there are design factors that can make it easier to get process objectives that will be evaluated as the main focus of the organization. This framework makes it easier for researchers to evaluate processes in universities. The domain that becomes the objective of IT governance in this research is BAI11 (Managed projects). The results of this study indicate that the capability level of Mikroskil University is at level 1 (performed). Meanwhile, the maturity level is at level 2 (managed). Based on the results of the capability and maturity level values, a gap value will be sought to be used as a basis for making recommendations for improvement. The results of this study provide recommendations for improvement to achieve the expected targets of higher education. Mikroskil University's capability level is at level 1 (performed).
