Abstract

Respiratory distress in neonates is one of the biggest problems encountered on a daily basis. Respiratory distress looks like rapid breathing in a newborn. CPAP Bubble is the right treatment in this case. Rise time is the time for airway pressure to reach the maximum standard value. A fast time value can make it possible to bring the breath pressure to a standard level. This study aims to analyze changes in setting flow to rise time using a gasboard sensor 7500E on a CPAP bubble device. The main advantage of this proposed method is that the results are displayed in the form of graphics, portable and there is data storage. This design uses a Gasboard 7500E sensor as a detector of oxygen concentration, a TFT LCD as a graphic display and an SD Card as data storage. The data collection is in the form of the average rise time of oxygen concentration followed by changes in its rate. Data were taken five times with three different CPAPs. The results showed that the increase in the rate affect the rise time of the CPAP oxygen concentration.

Abstract

The ventilator is a supporter of respiratory needs which is very important for the patient so that there are several parameters that must be monitored specifically, such as the measurement of pressure and flow rate used in the ventilator system, the accuracy of which must be in accordance with the accuracy of the respirator. One of the important parameters to monitor is PIF (Peak Inspiratory Flow) which is the peak inspiratory flow rate given through the ventilator. PIF that is too high or too low can cause adverse effects on the patient. PIF monitoring can be seen through the PIF value and waveform on the PIF. Monitoring the waveform of the PIF will be very useful to improve the results of using the ventilator. The purpose of this research is to get the accuracy and precision of the sensor to display the waveform of the ventilator output. The procedure carried out is to use the F1031V sensor to detect the flow generated by the ventilator and then detect the PIF value and PIF waveform. From this research, the measurement of accuracy and precision of the F1031V sensor to detect PIF and generate a waveform graph is said to be good. This is because the highest error value is ±2.04% at the 20 LPM setting. While the value of the largest standard deviation at the 30 LPM setting is 1.517 and the greatest uncertainty value at the 30 LPM setting is 0.061. Then, the largest correction value is found in the setting of 20 LPM and 30 LPM, namely 0.4. PIF monitoring is carried out to maximize patient care and reduce the breakdown time on the ventilator.

Abstract

Heart Rate Variability or heart rate in humans is used to monitor the heart rate in humans, the function of the heart rate monitor is to monitor the human heart rate. The purpose of making this tool is to compare the results of heart rate readings using the discrete wavelet transform method to facilitate the detection of R peak. This can be learned by evaluating and studying each decomposition result from level 1 to level 4 on Discrete Wavelet Transform processing using Haar mother wavelets. This study uses a raspberry pi 3B as a microcontroller as a data processor that is obtained from the ECG module. From this study, it can be concluded that in heart rate readings, level 2 decomposition details coefficient has the best value as data processing that helps for heart rate readings with an error value of 0.531%, HRV readings of 0.005 in comparison with phantom tools and a standard deviation of 0.039. The advantage of this tool is a good precision value in HRV and BPM readings. In reading the HRV of the respondent, it was found that each initial condition of the patient's HRV would be high due to the respondent's unstable condition. The disadvantage of this tool is that there is a delay in running the program, there is no display in the form of a signal in real time.

Abstract

Sport is a physical activity that can optimize body development through muscle movement. Physical activity without rest with strong and prolonged muscle contractions results in muscle fatigue. Muscle fatigue that occurs causes a decrease in the work efficiency of muscles. Electrocardiography (ECG) is a recording of the heart's electrical activity on the body's surface. EMG is a technique for measuring electrical activity in muscles. This study aims to detect the effect of muscle fatigue on cardiac signals by monitoring ECG and EMG signals. This research method uses the Maximum Heart Rate with a research design of one group pre-test-post-test. The independent variable is the ECG signal when doing plank activities, while the dependent variable is the result of monitoring the ECG signal. To get the Maximum Heart Rate results, respondents use the Karnoven formula and perform the T-test. Test results show a significant value (pValue <0.05) in pre-exercise and post-exercise. When the respondent experiences muscle fatigue, it shows the effect of changes in the shape of the ECG signal which is marked by the presence of movement artifact noise. It concluded that the tools in this study can be used properly. This study has limitations including noise in the AD8232 module circuit and the display on telemetry where the width of the box cannot be adjusted according to the ECG paper.is It recommended for further research to use components with better quality and replace the display using the Delphi interface.

Abstract

The increasing number of companies and the number of batik productions in the Ngawi region is directly proportional to the amount of wastewater produced and thus poses a burden on the environment as the overflow of wastewater is absorbed from the production process. The results of the laboratory analyses showed that the values for TSS, color, COD, BOD, total ammonia, oil, and grease exceeded the quality standards. Prevention of pollution from wastewater is done through community empowerment. Community empowerment aims to realize the development of Appropriate Technology for Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP) and the prevention of Wastewater Pollution to the Environment Around Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) Griya Batik Widi Nugraha, Ngawi Regency. The benefit of community empowerment is to provide experience for other Batik Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) development programs. Community empowerment at UKM Griya Batik Widi Nugraha Ngawi uses methods of document collection, site surveys, preparation of processing systems, training, and demonstrations. The target group of community empowerment activities at Griya Batik Widi Nugraha Ngawi are the owner of Griya Batik Widi Nugraha Ngawi, batik workers at Griya Batik Widi Nugraha Ngaw, workers in the dyeing and washing process, administrators of Ngawi Batik Association and construction workers. Results of Community Empowerment of UKM Griya Batik Widi Nugraha Workers and Surroundings Together with the academic community of Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya, appropriate technology was built for a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) with a capacity of 1,464.5 liters per day, which is still safe for UKM Griya Batik Widi Nugraha Ngawi Regency. The stages of wastewater treatment are pre-treatment, secondary treatment, tertiary treatment, and storage of the final product. The results of the functional tests based on effluent samples from the final treatment showed that the treatment plant was able to reduce the levels of TSS, color, COD, BOD, total ammonia, oil, and grease that exceeded the quality standard to meet the quality requirements as per the Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. P.16/MENLAHK /SETJEN/KUM.1/2019. These results provide benefits for UKM Griya Batik Widi Nugraha to prevent pollution and can use treated water as a source of fish pond water and watering the garden. It is recommended that community empowerment can be continued by other SMEs that have the potential to dispose of wastewater from production activities and pollute the environment through the use of appropriate technology (TTG) research results by lecturers or students so that they do not stop as intakes.
