Abstract

Tindakan rasional kepemimpinan direktur perpustakaan mampu memberikan dampak yang yang baik pada gaya kepemimpinan otokratis direktur perpustakaan dalam pengelolaan manajemen perpustakaan secara optimal dalam mencapai keberhasilan dari tujuan Perpustakaan Universitas Islam Indonesia. Kepemimpinan adalah kemampuan dalam mempengaruhi dan memberikan motivasi suatu kelompok pada arah pencapai tujuan bersama yang lebih baik. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian lapangan yaitu field research yang memiliki sifat penelitian kulitatif. Dari hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa gaya kepemimnan positif Direktur Perpustakaan Universitas Islam Indonesia memberikan dampak gaya yang baik pada kepemimpinan otokratis direktur perpustakaan, direktur perpustakaan mampu memberikan motivasi lewat peraturan yang ketat untuk bekerja lebih baik, hal ini membuat karyawan perpustakaan lebih berhati-hati dalam bekerja untuk mencapai target yang diharapkan oleh pihak pimpinan perpustakaan. Sikap taat dan patuh karyawan terhadap direktur perpustakaan merupakan tidak lain untuk kelancaran organisasi perpustakaan yang baik. Orientasi dan target kerja direktur perpustakaan berfokus pada output dari produktivitas kinerja organisasi Perpustakaan Universitas Islam Indonesia.

Abstract

Basically, library can provide fully information, and rather quickly in accordance with the needs of users. This research the optimization of the library information system through using the existed features, and hopefully, it can increase the service for the users. This research is using the qualitative approach method, and this is also field research. Based on the analysis of the results using the SDLC method, SIPRUS (Library Information System) is the library database collection of the State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga. This system uses MYSQL which means Open Resource-Based. SIPRUS has the same task to collect, process, conserve, refind the information, borrow and restore the book to the circulation section, and statistical functions to know the user's data, the library uses information technology to collect data as the library collection. In accordance with this analysis of the results, it can be said that OPAC is very helpful for users in searching for efficient and effective information.

Abstract

This paper is focusing on the availability of colection in University Library and how the concept of developing the colection activity. The purpose is to understand deeply in developing the colection activity in University Library. The success of university library in developing the colection is determined by three stages: 1) doing the analysis toward Librarian, 2) library’s policy of developing the colection, 3) doing the selection of library material, 4) acquisition, the activity of procument the library colection, 5) weeding colection activity because it is unrelevant with the need of librarian, and 6) always doing evaluation toward the library’s colection due to fulfill the need of librarian. The library in university has to anticipate the problem that is faced in developing the library colection and library should provide adequate sources due to lauch the process of developing the colection in order to effort the continuity and acceleration of developing the colection. library’s consistency is expected to be effective program and have a certain quality in developing the library colection.

Abstract

Sejak maraknya pemanfaatan internet di tengah-tengah masyarakat, sudah timbul isu bahwasanya suatu waktu tugas pustakawan dan perpustakaan tidak diperlukan lagi dikemudian hari oleh masyarakat. Penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode yaitu penelitian kualitatif, penelitian lapangan merupakan field research yang mempunyai karakter yaitu penelitian kulitatif. Peneliti dengan mengumpulkan data dilapangan mengenai Tantangan Perpustakaan untuk Pemustaka di Era Modern Pada Perpustakaan Universitas Potensi Utama. Pengunjung perpustakaan menginginkan Perpustakaan Universitas Potensi Utama dengan lingkungan yang sangat nyaman untuk tempat mendapatkan kenyamanan membaca dan mendapatkan informasi yang relevan sesuai dengan kebutuhan informasinya. Memperlakukan semua pelanggan dengan cara yang sama di Perpustakaan Universitas Potensi Utama. Pemustaka merupakan individu unik dengan preferensi, perasaan, dan emosi masing-masing. Dalam hal interaksi dengan penyedia layanan tidak semua pemustaka di Perpustakaan Universitas Potensi Utama bersedia menerima layanan yang seragam (standardized service). Perkembangan dunia perpustakaan menuntut para pustakawan di Perpustakaan Universitas Potensi Utama untuk menguasai penerapan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk mengelola informasi yang dibutuhkan oleh para pengunjung Perpustakaan Universitas Potensi Utama.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the picture of mother care care career and housewife. The number of samples in this study were 540 people, 270 for working mothers and 270 for mothers not working in Pekanbaru city. The sampling technique uses quota sampling by determining the number of quotas at the significant level 10% of the total population of career mothers 153,945 people and the total population of housewives 134,345 in the city of Pekanbaru. Technique of collecting data using questionnaire which amounted to 10 items arranged based on the dimension of parenting and data analyzed with descriptive quantitative percentage. Based on the results of quantitative descriptive analysis of the study, it is known that the mother's parenting pattern that works mostly apply the authoritative parenting pattern with very high criteria, and the unemployed mother is known to mostly implement the authoritative parenting pattern, with very high criteria. Given the results of data analysis that there is no difference in the application of parenting patterns between working mothers and mothers who do not work. Factors causing no difference in parenting pattern between career mothers and housewives is the factor of the number of children, age factor and educational factors.

Abstract

Librarians are required to be critical in having information literacy skills on how to empower the information they have. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to explain and discuss how the challenges of librarians in improving information literacy and information tracing skills of the millennial generation in the University Library Main Potential in meeting their information needs information literacy as a process of acquiring knowledge. The qualitative approach in this case is actually a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words of people and observable behavior. Information literacy skills of Librarians in University Libraries The main potential in the implementation of excellent services in libraries is interpreted as a form of cognitive skills that are reflected in the ability to identify, Understand and interpret the information obtained to be transformed into users, as well as productive activities that are able to provide social, economic and welfare benefits for users.

Kecepatan dan ketepatan dalam melayani peminjaman koleksi perpustakaan dan informasi juga merupakan runtutan pengguna perpustakaan. Banyaknya pengunjung yang dilayani oleh perpustakaan. baik secara online melalui internet maupun pelayanan di perpustakaan. menunjukkan berhasilnya pelayanan sebuah perpustakaan. Keberhasilan suatu lembaga, baik yang mencari laba (profit) maupun nirlaba (nonprofit), bergantung pada pelayanan yang diberikan kepada masyarakat. Abstract

Excellent service is not only physically related, but there are other factors that influence it. Excellent service is like an abstract form that can be felt, but it is difficult to see or prove. Excellent service is inseparable from customer satisfaction. If the customer is satisfied, then he will come and come again to the library. Google Drive is one of the media that can facilitate all the needs of the village head and staff in human resource activities. and staff in human resource activities. Nowadays, staff and village heads must be able to manage files, both personal files and files from other sources (internet). For this reason, it is necessary to understand the management of file sharing and storage. and file storage. There is still limited equipment in the village office and knowledge of information technology among staff and village heads, there is a need for coaching. there is a need for coaching.
