Abstract

In the era of digital technology the role of the media is very important in changing people's habits and becoming an important part in the lives of social communities. The existence of the media now greatly influences the culture of the community in obtaining information, but the negative side is that the media can control the community and make it subject to the rules made by the media itself. Go-food is present as a medium that makes it easy for people to meet the needs of high urban mobility. The business or trade sector is a sector that has an important role in the process of producing goods and services. The research method uses a cultural studies approach (cultural studies) in examining the Go-food phenomenon which is reflected in the socio-cultural context of the urban consumer society. Data collection techniques using the study of literature. The results showed that Go-food succeeded in mediating and changing the order of habits of users in meeting food needs through the media. There is a process by which the community begins to depend on the application and the existence of power which results in the community being subject to the rules that are made.

Abstract

Dress ethics is an important factor that is accounted for by an individual in a community. Someone will judge us by our appearance including our dress code. In the library there are regulations regarding the prohibition of using sandals, T-shirts and must be neatly dressed which raises the arena of social class and identity. By using the Ethnographic approach we can understand a social and cultural life in a society scientifically. In this case, we consider the views of the people as the most important thing. The results of this discussion criticize things that should not be taken for granted and open the knowledge of librarians to think critically in managing a library as a source of information

Abstract

Technological developments increase people's income in the economic field with the internet, which can meet the community's needs in conducting buying and selling transactions practically via the internet. The many online shop businesses that offer various needs at affordable prices compared to supermarkets or malls, changes in shopping behavior through online shopping in the community. This research uses qualitative research with a literature study approach. The features possessed by online shops provide convenience for people who use them because they can find the items they need only through smartphones. In addition to offering comfort to the features it has, Shopee also often provides discounts, especially on certain days. Currently, people prefer to shop through online shops compared to traditional markets because there are services owned by online shops but cannot be found in traditional markets. Shopee is an online shop that pampers someone in shopping because of the COD facility or the goods delivery system. Consciously or unconsciously, people are currently subject to the rules owned by Shopee, because they have considered it a natural thing to make buying and selling transactions through an online shop (Shopee).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) daftar perguruan tinggi penyelenggara Program Studi Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi (IPI); (2) deskripsi kompetensi mahasiswa IPI di Indonesia; (3) hal-hal yang perlu diperhatikan dalam penyusunan kompetensi mahasiswa IPI di Indonesia berdasarkan informasi di website lembaga. Data penelitian diolah menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan analisis deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi literatur dan penelusuran informasi pada Pangkalan Data Kemenristekdikti dan website Prodi IPI di Indonesia melalui database Google. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) ada sejumlah 48 perguruan tinggi penyelenggara Prodi IPI di Indonesia – dari  sejumlah perguruan tinggi tersebut, diketahui ada keragaman nama prodi (11 prodi) dan nama fakultas (23 fakultas) yang menaungi pendidikan IPI; (2) ada perbedaan deskripsi kompetensi mahasiswa dan lulusannya berdasarkan informasi pada website Prodi IPI di Indonesia, baik berdasarkan klaster kompetensi (kompetensi utama, kompetensi pendukung, kompetensi lain), kompetensi umum, maupun kompetensi profesi lulusannya; (3) dalam penyusunan kompetensi mahasiswa, perguruan tinggi perlu memperhatikan tiga hal penting, yaitu aspek pembelajaran (berbasis kompetensi, mandiri, kolaboratif); evaluasi berkala terhadap kredit semester dan kurikulum pembelajaran IPI; dan menyesuaikan kebutuhan pasar atau dunia kerja. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa IPI merupakan ilmu yang selalu mengikuti perkembangan iptek dan kebutuhan informasi masyarakat.

Abstract

Candi  Kimpulan merupakan candi peninggalan kerajaan hindu yang berlokasi di area Perpustakaan UII. Keberadaan Candi Kimpulan sampai saat ini dalam kondisi baik dan semakin dikenal oleh masyarakat luas. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keg iatan pelestarian dan promosi Candi Kimpulan yang berada di area Perpustakaan UII. Data kajian ini menggunakan data kualitatif – deskriptif, yang bersumber dari kegiatan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pelestarian Candi Kimpulan dilakukan oleh BPCB DIY dengan cara evakuasi, restorasi, dan konservasi. Sedangkan Perpustakaan UII (pustakawan) membantu tugas edukator museum dalam mempromosikan wisata budaya Candi Kimpulan ke masyarakat. Kegiatan promosi dilakukan dengan tatap muka, penyebaran brosur, dan website Perpustakaan UII.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the UGM library responded at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. This paper describes the state of the library at Gadjah Mada University since it was closed in early March 2020 until November 2020. In addition, this paper provides details on how libraries have adapted during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data were collected from web pages, blogs, social media and interviews. The results show that the Gadjah Mada University library has undergone a service transformation that implements the COVID-19 health protocol. Almost all library services are virtualized. Therefore, there are several challenges faced by librarians and users in carrying out virtual activities in the library.

Abstract

Penggunaan media teknologi di Indonesia berkembang sangat pesat yang dapat dilihat dari banyaknya media sosial yang bermunculan. Penggunaan media sosial yang sangat mudah dan banyak memiliki fitur menjadikan media sosial menjadi populer di era masyarakat jaringan. Pengguna yang semakin banyak menjadikan media sosial sebagai lahan bisnis yang menjanjikan bagi para pengembang media yang berbasis teknologi. Namun ketidakpahaman pengguna terhadap informasi pribadi yang dibagikan di platform media menyebabkan terjadinya pelanggaran privasi yang dilakukan untuk kepentingan pihak pengembang yang tidak bertanggung jawab. Literasi privasi menjadi langkah yang baik dalam upaya mencegah pelanggaran privasi dari sisi psikologis, fisik maupun finansial dapat di minimalkan. Sehingga pentingnya literasi privasi sebagai upaya pencegahan pelanggaran privasi di era masyarakat jejaring.Kata-kata Kunci: literasi privasi, media sosial, masyarakat jaringan
