Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan serta menganalisis penggunaan metode tutor sebaya dan proses kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni musik di SMP Katolik Santo Bernardus, Madiun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Guru dan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran ekstrakurikuler, menjadi subjek utama pada penelitian ini. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data melalui tahapan reduksi, paparan, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode tutor sebaya diterapkan dengan memilih peserta didik yang memiliki kemampuan lebih yang berperan sebagai tutor bagi teman sebayanya. Proses kegiatan ekstrakurikuler ini melibatkan kelompok-kelompok kecil, di mana setiap kelompok memiliki satu atau dua tutor. Aktivitas ini meliputi praktek bermain alat musik, latihan bersama, dan diskusi kelompok. Metode tutor sebaya relevan digunakan, terbukti dari semangat dan capaian prestasi bidang musik yang telah diraih. Penggunaan metode tutor sebaya berpotensi baik, terbukti terbentuknya rasa tanggung jawab, interaksi, dan kepedulian antar peserta didik.Kata kunci: ekstrakurikuler, musik, metode, tutor sebaya AbstractPeer Tutoring Method Implementation in Extracurricular Music Learning at St. Bernardus Catholic Junior High School, Madiun. This study aims to describe and analyze the use of the peer tutoring method and the process of extracurricular music activities at St. Bernardus Catholic Junior High School, Madiun. A qualitative approach was employed, using a case study method, with the music teacher and students participating in extracurricular activities as the main subjects of the study. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings indicate that the peer tutoring method is implemented by selecting students with advanced abilities to act as tutors for their peers. This extracurricular activity is conducted in small groups, with each group having one or two tutors. Activities include musical instrument practice, group rehearsals, and group discussions. The peer tutoring method is shown to be effective, as demonstrated by the enthusiasm and achievements in music attained by the students. The use of peer tutoring promotes positive outcomes, fostering responsibility, interaction, and care among students.Keywords: ekstracurricular, music, method, peer tutors

Abstract

Resilience based on artistic creativity by musicians has had positive implications for preserving Keroncong’s music. However, this context needs to be addressed in scientific discussions. In addition to complementing previous studies, this study focused on explaining the characteristics of resilience based on artistic creativity carried out by musicians in preserving Keroncong music. This study showed three significant findings. First, resilience based on artistic creativity carried out by musicians by composing made Keroncong music more inclusive and could be enjoyed by all groups. Second, resilience based on artistic creativity carried out by musicians by performing informal stage acts made Keroncong music an attractive genre. Third, resilience based on artistic creativity carried out by musicians by covering popular songs made the Keroncong genre became adaptive music. This study also recommends the importance of future studies that explain the resilience process of musicians in preserving Keroncong music by intensively interviewing musicians who consistently perform Keroncong songs.

Abstract

Sight Singing is the ability to read the notation and immediately sing the tune in accordance with the melody on the sheet music. Sight Singing is the activity of singing with solmisasi or movabel "do". This study aims to improve the ability to read beam notation in learning mandatory piano instruments using the Sight Singing approach. The Mandatory Piano Instrument course is one of the practical courses that must be taken by all Music Education Study Program students, ISI Yogyakarta. Not all new students in Music Education Study Program can read the beam notation, so this Piano Compulsory Instrument course course is always feared by students who have not read fluent notation. Sight singing as a strategy to enhance the learning of Piano Mandatory Instruments. This research is focused on the application of Sight singing in learning Mandatory Piano Instruments in Music Education Study Program. This research uses Classroom Action Research which can be categorized as a qualitative-experimental research by applying the Sight singing method. The results of this study are the learning process of the Mandatory Piano Instrument with the application of the Sight singing method more effectively to improve the ability to learn to read notation while playing the Piano Instrument, and students can be more expressing, impressed singing by accompanying themselves.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengungkapkan proses aktivitas belajar mahasiswa dalam memahami ilmu harmoni dan kontrapung dasar dalam membentuk sebuah aransemen musik. Ilmu harmoni dan kontrapung merupakan ilmu dasar dalam memperlajari penyusunan nada. Dalam proses penyusunan nada terdapat pengetahuan akur, yang terbagi dalam empat suara yaitu sopran, alto, tenor dan bass tersusun secara horisontal. Unsur empat suara memiliki aturan-aturan yang berlaku dalam ilmu harmoni, sedangkan kontrapung dalam proses pembelajaran mempelajari kontrapung instrumental dengan tanganada diatonik dan termasuk dalam musik gaya polifonik. Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian proses aplikasi ilmu harmoni dan kontrapung dengan cara mempraktikan membuat aransemen lagu Bagimu Negeri.  Tujuan dari penelitian adalah mengajak mahasiswa dan memahami dalam mengaplikasikan ilmu harmoni dan kontrapung. Melalui cara eksperimen merupakan kegiatan dari proses membuat aransemen lagu Bagimu Negeri dengan pendekatan musikologi. Konstruksi aransemen musik melalui penerapan ilmu harmoni dan kontrapung dengan pendekatan musikologi bermanfaat untuk memberikan pengetahuan pada mahasiswa bagaimana mengaransemen lagu. Hasil akhir penelitian yaitu bagaimana mahasiswa praktik mengaransemen lagu menggunakan ilmu harmoni dan kontrapung yang mengkolaborasi antara ilmu harmoni dan kontrapung. Keterbatasan dalam penelitian ini belum mengungkap kontur dan tekstur harmoni dalam aplikasi aransemen musik. Oleh karena itu memerlukan studi yang lebih jauh kembali dalam memahami aplikasi harmoni dan kontrapung dalam proses aransemen.AbstractThe construction of the music arrangement Bagimu Negeri for the application of harmony and basic counterpunch. This article reveals the learning activity process of students of the S-1 Music Study Program of the Faculty of Performing Arts, Yogyakarta Indonesian Institute of Arts, in understanding the science of harmony and contra punt in forming a musical arrangement. The science of harmony and contra punt is a basic science in learning the preparation of tone. There is knowledge of getting along in composing the tone, divided into four sounds: soprano, alto, tenor, and bass arranged horizontally. Element four sounds have rules that apply in the science of harmony. At the same time, contra punt in the learning process learns instrumental contra punt with diatonic hands and in polyphonic style music. This article results from research in the application process of harmonic and counter punt science by making arrangements for songs for the country.  The study aims to invite students and understand in applying the science of harmony and contra punt. The way of experimentation is to make arrangements of songs for the country with a musical approach. Construction of music arrangements through the application of harmonic science and contra punt with a musicology approach is helpful for students to arrange songs. The final result of the study is how students practice arranging songs using the science of harmony and contra punt that collaborate between the science of harmony and contra punt. Limitations in this study have not revealed the contours and textures of harmony in musical arrangement applications. It, therefore, requires a further analysis back in understanding the application of harmony and contra punt in the arrangement process.Keywords: the science of harmony and contra punt; musical arrangements; Bagimu Negeri; Harmonic texture

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dan menjelaskan pengaruh aplikasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) bidang usaha warung internet (warnet) yang menggunakan sistem informasi biling yang bersifat wajib (mandatory) di kota Malang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 69 warnet. Metode analisa data adalah Partial Least Square (PLS) salah satu metode alternatif Structured Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kualitas Sistem berpengaruh langsung positif tidak signifikan terhadap Penggunaan, dan Kinerja Individu, berpengaruh langsung positif signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Pengguna, Kualitas Sistem juga berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap Kinerja Individu melalui Penggunaan maupun Kepuasan Pengguna. Kualitas Sistem berpengaruh langsung positif tidak signifikan dan tidak langsung terhadap Kinerja Organisasi melalui Penggunaan, Kepuasan Pengguna dan Kinerja Individu. Kualitas Informasi berpengaruh langsung positif signifikan terhadap Kinerja Individu, serta berpengaruh langsung positif tidak signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Pengguna dan Penggunaan. Kualitas Informasi juga berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap Kinerja Individu melalui Penggunaan dan Kepuasan Pengguna. Kualitas Informasi berpengaruh langsung dan pengaruh tidak langsung terhadap Kinerja Organisasi, melalui Penggunaan, Kepuasan pengguna dan Kinerja Individu. Penggunaan berpengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung terhadap variabel Kinerja Organisasi, melalui Kinerja Individu. Kepuasan Pengguna berpengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung terhadap Kinerja Organisasi, melalui variabel Kinerja Individu. The results showed that Quality Systems is not significant positive direct effect on use, and individual performance, significant positive direct influence on User Satisfaction, Quality Systems also indirect effect on performance through the use of individual and User Satisfaction. Quality Systems insignificant positive impact directly and indirectly on Organizational Performance through Use, User Satisfaction and Individual Performance. Quality information is significant positive direct effect on individual performance, as well as no significant positive direct effect on User Satisfaction and Usage. Information quality is also an indirect effect on performance through the use of individual and User Experience. Information quality direct effect and indirect effect on Organizational Performance, through use, user satisfaction and individual performance. The use of direct and indirect influence on the variable Organizational Performance through Individual Performance. Abstract

Vocalizing memiliki keterkaitan erat dengan kegiatan olah vokal. Implementasi teknik vocalizing diperlukan bagi seseorang yang ingin memiliki suara merdu dan indah, terkhusus pada lingkup warga gereja yang tergabung dalam pelayan ibadah pujian dan penyembahan yan pemimpin pujian saat ibadah berlangsung. Penelitian ini berfokus mengidentifikasi proses penerapan teknik vocalizing untuk meningkatkan keterampilan intonasi vokal dan mendeskripsikan hasil penerapan teknik vocalizing pada intonasi vokal anak usia 12 tahun di GIA Puri Anjasmoro Semarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif pendekatan Tindakan Kelas Partisipan untuk mendalami proses penerapan vocalizing dalam meningkatkan intonasi bernyanyi anak usia 12 tahun. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak dapat menggunakan pernapasan diafragma dengan baik dan benar, meningkatnya kemampuan intonasi anak dalam membedakan tinggi dan rendah nada dan menjaga stabilitas suara saat bernyanyi, mampu memanfaatkan ruang resonansi kepala secara optimal, artikulasi terdengar dengan jelas dan dapat menyanyikan lagu “Jawaban Hidupku'' dengan frase yang sempurna. Kelemahan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian dilaksanakan dengan waktu yang terbatas sehingga hasil penerapan teknik vocalizing belum diterapkan secara maksimal. Kelebihan dari penelitian ini adalah dalam waktu yang terbatas, anak-anak dapat menyanyikan lagu “Jawaban Hidupku” dengan teknik vokal yang tepat. Penerapan vocalizing untuk meningkatkan kemampuan intonasi bernyanyi anak usia 12 tahun merupakan salah satu solusi untuk meningkatkan kualitas suara anak dalam bernyanyi menjadi lebih baik.Vocalizing Technique to Improve Singing Intonation of 12-Year-Old Children at GIA Puri Anjasmoro SemarangVocalizing is linked to vocal exercises. Implementing vocalizing techniques is necessary for someone who wants a melodious and beautiful voice, especially for those serving in praise and worship who are the praise leaders during the service. This research focuses on identifying the process of applying vocalizing techniques to improve vocal intonation skills and describing the results on the vocal intonation of 12-year-old children at GIA Puri Anjasmoro Semarang. The method used in this research is qualitative with a Participatory Action Research approach to delve into applying vocalizing in improving the singing intonation of 12-year-old children. The results of this study show that children can use diaphragmatic breathing correctly, improve the ability to distinguish high and low tones and maintain the stability of the sound, able to utilize the resonance space optimally, clear articulation is heard and can sing the song “Jawaban Hidupku” with a perfect phrase. The weaknes of this study is that the research was conducted in a limited time, so the results of the application ov vocalizing techniques have not been maximally implemented. The advantage of his study is that in a limited time, children can sing the song “Jawaban Hidupku” with the correct vocal technique  The application of vocalizing to improve the intonation singing ability of 12-year-old children is one solution to improve the quality of children’s voices.

Abstract

Kurangnya kemampuan menulis notasi musik dapat membatasi siswa dalam berkreatifitas dan berekspresi. Hal tersebut dikarenakan menulis notasi musik juga menjadi media bagi musisi dalam mengkomunikasikan karya musik mereka selain melalui pertunjukan. Seperti di SMKN 3 Sukawati, kemampuan menulis skor notasi musik dengan software Sibelius merupakan kemampuan yang penting untuk dikuasai siswa. Terutama sebagai bekal pengetahuan siswa untuk memenuhi salah satu syarat ujian di kelas XI yakni menulis skor musik. Meskipun begitu, siswa di sekolah tersebut memiliki keterbatasan kemampuan dalam menulis notasi musik. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membahas mengenai interaksi siswa dalam menggunakan software Sibelius untuk membantu siswa menguasai keahlian menulis notasi musik. Penelitian ini juga memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses dan dampak dari penggunaan software Sibelius pada pendalaman materi notasi musik dan solfegio dalam mata pelajaran Musik Teknologi kelas XI di SMKN 3 Sukawati Gianyar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yakni kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Adapun dari penelitian yang didapatkan yakni bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi komputasi dalam menggunakan software Sibeius memberikan dampak pada kreatifitas siswa di sekolah dalam menulis notasi musik dan melati solfegio. Sibelius Software: Interaction of Computing Technology as a Media for Student’s CreativityThe lack of ability to write music notation can limit student's creativity and expression. It is because writing music notation is also a medium for musicians to communicate their musical works beside through performances. As in SMKN 3 Sukawati, the ability to write music notation scores with Sibelius software is an important skill for students to master. Especially as a provision for student’s knowledge to fulfill one of the final exam requirements, that is writing music scores. However, students of the scool have limited ability to write musical notation. Therefore, this research was conducted to discuss student interaction in using Sibelius software to help them master the skills of writing music notation. The aim of this study is to describe the process and impact of using Sibelius software in deepening musical notation and solfegio materials in Music Technology class of SMKN 3 Sukawati Gianyar. The type of research used is qualitative with a case study approach. As for the result, it was found that the use of computational technology in using the Sibeius software had an impact on the creativity of students at school in writing musical notation and solfegio.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi Perfect Ear dalam pembelajaran seni musik dan mengatasi kendala kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap teori musik dasar serta rendahnya minat belajar dalam bidang seni musik di SMAN 1 Talun Kabupaten Blitar. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan metode pembelajaran musik yang inovatif serta pemanfaatan teknologi yang mendukung pembelajaran musik yang lebih efektif dan interaktif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah uji Kuantitatif Eksperimen dengan desain One Group Pretest-Post Test, yang bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh positif dari penggunaan aplikasi Perfect Ear. Selain itu penelitian ini menganalisis minat siswa dalam pembelajaran seni musik melalui kuesioner ulasan pengguna. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dalam prestasi belajar siswa berdasarkan perbandingan nilai Pre-Test dan Post Test, dengan rata-rata sebesar 85,43 yang melebihi nilai ketuntasan minimum yang telah ditentukan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Perfect Ear memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pemahaman teori musik dasar siswa. Secara keseluruhan, aplikasi Perfect Ear dapat dianggap sebagai alat yang efektif dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran musik dengan memberikan pengalaman pembelajaran yang menarik dan berarti bagi siswa. Penelitian ini memiliki batasan dalam menggali pengaruh jangka panjang pemanfaatan aplikasi Perfect Ear pada siswa, sehingga penelitian lanjutan diperlukan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif dan kontribusi dalam evaluasi dan pengembangan metode pembelajaran musik yang inovatif untuk mendukung pembelajaran musik yang lebih efektif. Perfect Ear on Students' Interest and Learning Outcomes in Music StudiesThis study aims to examine the influence of using the Perfect Ear application in music education and address the challenges of students' lack of understanding of basic music theory and low interest in the field of music at SMAN 1 Talun Kabupaten Blitar. The research is anticipated to aid in the creation of innovative approaches to teaching music as well as the application of technology to assist more efficient and engaging music education. In order to assess the beneficial impacts of the application, a quantitative experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest technique was used in the research. Through a user review questionnaire, the research also assesses students’ interest in music education. The results indicate positive feedback from users of the Perfect Ear application. Moreover, there is a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes based on the comparison of Pre-Test and Post-Test scores, with an average of 85.43, surpassing the minimum passing grade. The study reveals that the use of the Perfect Ear application has a significant and positive influence on students' understanding of basic music theory. Overall, the Perfect Ear application can be considered an effective tool to enhance music education by providing engaging and meaningful learning experiences for students. However, the study is limited in exploring the long-term effects of utilizing the Perfect Ear application, warranting further research to gain a comprehensive understanding and contribute to the evaluation and development of innovative music teaching methods that support more effective music education.

Abstract

Processing corn kernels into fine corn or corn flour has been widely used various methods to obtain good results and maximum results, therefore a machine was created corn grain chopper with an electric motor so that it can be used by small-scale farmers or MSMEs.
