Abstract

The environment is one factor that influences the quality of life, including a high environment for people with the fear of height (Visual Height Intolerance, VHI). Currently, VHI is measured by using the Visual Height Intolerance Severity Scale (VHISS). The lack of evidence-based testing makes these measurements feel weak and less meaningful. The use of Virtual Reality (VR) and Electroencephalography (EEG) based on the Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) deserves to be tested. The test is done by reading the human brain's electrical activity using a BCI-based EEG when given VR exposure. The analysis process uses a simple wave concept. Furthermore, the correlation study was carried out using the Spearman-rho method with a consideration of the normality test, which produced non-parametric data. The correlation test results show that the BCI-based EEG biometric data in the form of the amount of waves per time and magnitude has a strong relationship with the VHISS scale. The higher the number of waves per time, the higher the amplitude, the higher the VHISS scale. The evaluation was carried out by examining the correlation based on the demographics of age and gender. Finally, EEG based on BCI and VR can be an alternative and concrete evidence to review the level of visual height intolerance other than VHISS.

Abstract

The Government of Indonesia's official Covid-19 website is the most trusted information link between relevant agencies and the wider community. Usability is an important factor in determining how easily and successfully users can obtain information from a website. Heuristic studies were conducted to obtain findings on the discrepancies in the previously released website design. The website's homepage has a usability percentage of 78.74 percent and a standard deviation of 8.84 percent. The Covid-19 distribution page is 70.36 percent usable, with a standard deviation of 9.84 percent. The evaluation results are based on the United States' Research-Based Web Design and Usability Guidelines. The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) discovered that the home page's links were poorly identified, that important information was not relevant, and that the use of icons was inconsistent. The distribution page discovered difficult-to-identify links, scrollbar redundancy in the frameset, and content complexity that required the user to be able to read diagrams well.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berawal dari permasalahan kelompok ibu-ibu PKK yang memiliki usaha UMKM mengalami keresehan karena sulit mendapatkan jangkauan pelanggan yang lebih luas. Sehingga untuk menyelesaikan persoalan tersebut kami melaksanakan program pengabdian masyarakat dengan tujuan dari program kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi bagi ibu-ibu desa sumbersari mengenai pembelajaran berpromosi yang mudah dan cepat dengan menggunakan facebook marketplace. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yang digunakan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah pada penyampaian materi seputar teori dan kebermanfaatan facebook marketplace. Selanjutnya dilakukan metode praktik mengenai pelatihan simulasi berjualan pada platform facebook marketplace. Metode praktik dilakukan untuk memberikan gambaran langsung pada peserta mengenai penggunaan facebook marketplace. Tahap terakhir dilakukan proses evaluasi program pelatihan dengan menggunakan metode dialog untuk mengumpulkan opini dari peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan. Peserta pada kegiatan ini adalah ibu-ibu PKK Ds Sumbersari yang memiliki usaha lokal. Hasil dari kegiatan ini memberikan kebergunaan bagi peserta kegiatan terhadap pemahaman kompetensi berjualan online supaya jangkauan pembelinya lebih luas.

Abstract

Data transmission media using wireless is currently an alternative to using wired transmission media. Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) used so far uses 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. The use of frequency in the IEEE 802.11 standard protocol is increasingly dense and prone to interference. So that various protocols began to be developed according to needs. In this study using a frequency of 5 GHz and the Nv2 protocol. One of the protocol features in the Mikrotik Wireless device. Signal strength is affected by the Noise Floor Threshold. Noise Floor Threshold value -128 to -110. The higher the Noise Floor Threshold value, the weaker the signal strength will be. The lower the Noise Floor Threshold value, the stronger the signal strength. The Noise Floor Threshold value will also affect the Signal To Noise (dB). When the Noise Floor Threshold value is low, the Signal To Noise (dB) strength is getting stronger, and vice versa

Abstract

The community and local government waste handling capacity is not optimal. Waste cannot be managed properly, affecting the environment and the surrounding community's health. Garbage is a cultural problem because its impact affects various aspects of life, as is currently happening in the Gunungsari Village environment. When looking at the environmental situation there, it can be seen that residents' awareness of their respective waste segregation is not optimal. It can be seen that only about 20% of residents care and try to take part in waste sorting and 3R management, namely: reduce, reuse and recycle. So seeing these conditions, the community service team took the initiative to provide a K-Trash application technology solution to help villagers' problems in terms of waste management. With the presence of this application, people will become more aware of and understand the complexities of the household waste management process. Some of the community service team's activities in this program include socialization regarding the features, benefits, and purposes of applications used by villagers, providing mass training, and monitoring and evaluating application programs.

Abstract

The pandemic makes the utilization and competition of information and communication technology has increased. One of the ways to maintain the existence of schools are publication media of more varied school information and teaching-learning activities media. The purpose of this training program is to provide additional expertise for creating inexpensive and fast publications media and teaching-learning media. The offered solution is the use of web logs from Google which is often known as Blogger. Blogger offers a free and easy web log feature. The training was carried out directly at the Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Ngampel by using lectures and demonstrations method. There are several parts in this training, web log making, web log management, and also web log analysis. The results of this training show that the participants have succeeded in having their own web logs which are ready to be further managed and analyzed on a regular basis. The use of web logs can be used for various needs, including as a publication media and supporting teaching-learning activities.

Abstract

Abstrak – Aplikasi surveilans penyebaran covid-19 di Indonesia telah diberlakukan secara masif sejak surat edaran mendagri tahun 2021 dengan nama Aplikasi Peduli Lindungi. Pencarian sumber masalah paling umum yang menyebabkan aplikasi peduli lindungi mendapatkan penilaian bintang satu oleh penggunanya dapat dilakukan dengan membaca ulasan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi data scraping untuk mengumpulkan data, attribute selection untuk memilih data yang digunakan, text preprocessing untuk membersihkan dan mempersiapkan data, text processing meliputi data sorting, word frequency, dan collocation, serta visualization untuk merepresentasikan hasilnya. Ditemukan 82.265 ulasan dengan bintang satu di google play store. Terdiri dari 73.919 ulasan yang dilengkapi dengan alasan dan sisanya hanya memberikan penilaian bintang satu saja. Data sorting berdasarkan versi aplikasi menunjukkan bahwa tidak semua pengguna menggunakan aplikasi dengan versi yang terbaru. Data sorting berdasarkan thumbsUp menunjukkan bahwa masalah sertifikat, versi aplikasi dengan perangkat lama, serta user experience di formulir tanggal lahir yang paling banyak dikeluhkan oleh penggunanya. Kata-kata yang paling sering muncul di ulasan dengan pembatasan bintang satu diantaranya adalah kata “tidak”, “aplikasi”, “bisa”, “sudah”, dan “vaksin”. Kumpulan kata tersebut menjadi lebih bermakna dengan pendekatan metode kolokasi yang ditemukan, seperti “Sudah vaksin, tidak ada, sertifikat vaksin”. Hasil temuan tersebut lebih mudah dianalisis dengan visualization menggunakan word cloud collocation. Abstract

The growth of online sales businesses by utilizing E-Commerce is increasing rapidly. One way that can be used as a tool to face competition is to apply Business Intelligence as a basis for making the right business strategy decisions. Indofishing Shop is an online shop selling various fishing gear and equipment. So far, online sales transaction data processing uses Microsoft Excel, which has created problems with the need for more information to analyze product trends. This research applies Business Intelligence to detect data extracted and collected in a data warehouse. The data will be analyzed statistically and visualized using Microsoft Power BI. Data warehouse design uses Kimball's Nine-Step method. The results of this research are in the form of a visualization dashboard that is used to analyze sales trends for the most sold fishing equipment products from the Indofishing Shop. Diagram visualization helps Indofishing understand the trend conditions of the most in-demand products and the cities of origin of the buyers who buy the most products.

Abstract

The availability of drugs is one of the needs that supports the presence of health in the community. Patient certainty regarding the availability of drugs becomes increasingly important for patients who use psychotropic drugs. This type is a dangerous drug and needs to be controlled. Control is carried out to avoid drug abuse outside of medical purposes. Two conflicting sides between the importance of ensuring the availability and controlling their use can be resolved, one of which is by measuring supply and demand. The availability of psychotropic drugs should be adjusted to demand. The problem is that we cannot know demand that has not yet occurred, drugs have an expiration date, and procuring drugs takes time. One way is to predict the demand when supplying drugs so that the order quantity is appropriate. The prediction method used is the Monte Carlo Simulation Method. One example of implementation is the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) Method. As a result, the Monte Carlo method successfully made predictions based on existing data. In addition, it was found that the Monte Carlo Method tended to the distribution of the data used. The closer the distance between the data, the higher the prediction accuracy obtained. Uncertainty in actual demand is also a big challenge for producing accurate predictions based on patterns. Prediction results will be more accurate with more data patterns and variations. Implementation of prediction results with EOQ makes the number of drugs that should be ordered based on demand that is likely to occur.

Abstract

The Ar-Royyan Islamic boarding school is a multi-level Islamic educational institution with a focus on preparing graduates who are ready to synergize with the society. To attain this objective, it is imperative to have educational personnel well-versed in the field of information technology. One strategic approach involves training Ustadz and prospective Ustadz through digital learning innovations. Open Broadcast Software (OBS) emerges as an innovative choice for crafting learning materials because it supports various media sources and offers user-friendly settings. Participants can combine video recordings, video from cameras, text, images, sound, and so on the types of input received. The resulting output manifests in the form of the videos available in common formats such as MKV, MOV, FLV, MP4, and MPEG-TS. Evaluation was conducted using a pre-test and post-test, consisting of a response questionnaire and Likert scale. The results indicate an enhanced understanding of OBS among participants, employed in the creation of digital learning media. The majority of participants responded positively to the conducted activities. Several elements that need attention in promoting the use of OBS for learning media creation include color selection, motivational delivery, and effective word choice. Combining OBS with other editing applications can yield unique variations of learning media, incorporating elements such as images, sound, video, and other supported media editing applications
