Abstract

Quantitative data analysis skills are essential for financial management students in producing high-quality, data-driven scientific writing. However, many students still face difficulties in understanding statistical methods and applying them appropriately in research. This training program aims to enhance students’ conceptual understanding and practical skills in quantitative data analysis to improve the quality of scientific writing at STIE Latifah Mubarokiyah. The program was implemented through interactive lectures, hands-on practice using statistical software, and discussion sessions, supported by pre-test and post-test evaluations. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of quantitative data analysis concepts, their ability to process and interpret financial data, and the overall quality of scientific writing, particularly in the research methodology and discussion sections. The training program proved effective in strengthening students’ research competencies and contributed positively to fostering a data-driven research culture at STIE Latifah Mubarokiyah. Therefore, similar programs are recommended to be conducted continuously and further developed with advanced analytical materials.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to enhance the knowledge, understanding, and skills of students majoring in marketing in the field of digital marketing as a crucial competency in the digital economy era. Although students are accustomed to using digital media and social media, its utilization as a professional marketing tool remains suboptimal. The PKM activities were carried out through structured training covering fundamental concepts of digital marketing, the use of social media for marketing purposes, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), and content-based marketing strategies. The training was implemented through material presentations and interactive discussions to encourage active student participation. The results indicate that students experienced an improvement in their understanding and skills in applying digital marketing strategies in a more directed and professional manner, particularly in social media management and search engine optimization. This program provides direct benefits to students and supports institutional efforts to prepare adaptive graduates who are ready to meet the demands of the digital-based industry.

Abstract

Higher education institutions play a strategic role in producing excellent human resources (HR) who are ready to compete in the job market. However, there is still a gap between graduates’ competencies and industry needs. This community service program aims to improve the quality of graduates at STIE Latifah Mubarokiyah Tasikmalaya through superior HR training focused on developing soft skills (communication, leadership, problem solving) and hard skills (data analysis, digital marketing, financial management). The implementation method includes training needs analysis, workshops, case study simulations, mentoring, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test. The results show a 25–30% increase in students’ competencies, greater confidence in facing the job market, and positive feedback from industry stakeholders who assessed that graduates are more adaptable to workplace challenges. This program produced a training module that can be used sustainably and strengthened the relationship between higher education and industry through internship and recruitment collaborations. Therefore, superior HR training has proven effective in enhancing graduate quality and supporting the vision of higher education institutions to produce competitive human resources at local, national, and international levels.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan transformasional, yang dicirikan oleh kemampuan untuk menginspirasi dan memotivasi bawahan menuju tujuan yang lebih tinggi, dan kecerdasan emosional, yang didefinisikan sebagai kemampuan untuk mengenali, mengelola, dan membimbing emosi secara efektif, merupakan pusat penelitian ini. Penelitian ini berupaya untuk menguji dampak kepemimpinan transformasional dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja guru SLTA di lingkungan Yayasan Serba Bakti Pontren Suryalaya Tasikmalaya. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan, memanfaatkan metode survei melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 98 guru. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi berganda untuk menilai pengaruh variabel independen (kepemimpinan transformasional dan kecerdasan emosional) terhadap variabel dependen (kinerja guru). Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional dan kecerdasan emosional memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di institusi tersebut. Secara khusus, kepemimpinan transformasional, dengan nilai-t 4,483 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,001, berkontribusi pada peningkatan kinerja guru dengan menumbuhkan visi yang menginspirasi, mempromosikan inovasi, dan menawarkan dukungan individu. Kecerdasan emosional juga memberikan pengaruh yang kuat, sebagaimana dibuktikan oleh nilai t sebesar 6,156 dan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,001, yang menunjukkan bahwa guru yang secara efektif mengelola emosinya dan membina hubungan interpersonal yang kuat cenderung berkinerja lebih baik. Koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,891 menunjukkan bahwa kedua faktor ini menyumbang 89,1% dari variasi kinerja guru, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 10,9% disebabkan oleh variabel lain yang tidak tercakup dalam penelitian ini.
