Abstract

Abstrak. Berpikir merupakan aktivitas mental untuk membantu memformulasikan atau memecahkan suatu masalah, membuat suatu keputusan, atau memenuhi hasrat keingintahuan. Penanaman kemampuan berpikir kritis menjadi bagian penting dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Tujuan penelitan ini adalah 1)untuk mengetahui profil pembelajaran fisika di Madrasah Aliyah se DIY, 2)untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa Madrasah Aliyah se DIY. Adapun sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 12 MA yang ada di DIY baik itu yang bertatus Negeri maupun Swasta. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa 1) semua MA masih menerapkan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru (Teacher Center) meskipun sebagian besar Madrasah Aliyah Negeri sudah menerapkan kurikulum 2013 dan belum memfasilitasi siswa untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritisnya, 2)kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa MA masih pada kategori rendah.Kata kunci: berpikir kritis, profil pembelajaran, teacher center

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendidikan karakter dimaknai sebagai pendidikan nilai, pendidikan budi pekerti, pendidikan moral, pendidikan watak, yang bertujuan mengembangkan kemampuan peserta didik untuk memberikan keputusan baik-buruk, memara apa yang baik, dan mewujudkan kebaikan itu dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dengan sepenuh hati. Salah satu upaya dalam pembentukan karakter siswa dapat ditanamkan dengan pembelajaran sains yaitu dengan memberikan pengalaman kepada siswa. Sains adalah ilmu pengetahuan atau kumpulan konsep, prinsip, hukum, dan teori yang dibentuk melalui proses kreatif yang sistematis melalui inkuari yang dilanjutkan dengan proses observasi (empiris) secara terus-menerus dilakukan oleh individu untuk menyingkap rahasia alam semesta. Sains juga merupakan pengetahuan yang disusun secara bersistem menurut metode-metode tertentu yang dapat digunakan untuk menerangkan gejala-gejala tertentu di bidang (pengetahuan) itu dan bersifat koheren, empiris, sistematis, dapat diukur dan dibuktikan. Pembelajaran sains tidak dapat dilepaskan dari metode ilmiah karena  metode ilmiah  merujuk pada proses-proses pencarian sains yang dilakukan siswa. Dalam pembelajaran sains, metode ilmiah dapat dilakukan melalui pemberian pengalaman dalam bentuk kegiatan mandiri ataupun kelompok kecil. Metode ilmiah penting dikembangkan karena dapat mengembangkan  kemampuan yang paling sederhana yaitu mengamati, mengukur sampai dengan kemampuan tertinggi yaitu kemampuan bereksperimen. Selain itu juga dapat mencapai ranah kognitif level terendah sampai dengan level tertinggi. Dengan kegiatan metode ilmiah selain untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan motivasi belajar siswa, dan juga memuat unsur kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor. Dalam hal ini, aspek afektif yang muncul berupa munculnya karakteristik anak-anak untuk melakukan kejujuran, tanggung jawab, kepedulian, kerja sama, dan hormat pada orang lain, semangat bekerja, semangat belajar, pantang putus asa,  menghargai orang lain, jujur, rasa ingin tahu, mandiri, kreatif,kerja keras, disiplin dan percaya diri.   Kata kunci: pembangunan karakter, metode ilmiah, kognitif, psikomotorik, afektif

Abstract

The students’ abilities in campus were influenced by teaching and learning process. If the teacher learning is organized by the teacher well, the students will get the abilities. The teaching learning process based on lecturers’ views and understanding about definition and the nature of teaching and learning. In addition, lecturers must be able to instill concepts and theories related to teacher science and must equip students with character values so that later will create scholars who excel in knowledge and have character values. The purpose of this study, students are able to master the science of teacher and formed the character of prospective teachers according to national education goals. The method used in this study, the experimental method. The study was conducted in three cycles. Each cycle has four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection.

Abstract

Free radical is a reactive component because it has one or more electrons. Free radical is very dangerous for our body because it can cause degenerative diseases, such as cancer, heart attack, and aging. Cancer and heart attack are one of the most killer disease. All we can do to decrease the free radical effect is consume antioxidant. S. caseolaris leaves has antioxidant activity, but it has known yet which stage of maturity is the best one for produce the highest antioxidant activity. This purpose of this research is knowing the influence between maturity and antioxidant activity at different maturity stages. This method of this research is experimental with Completely Randomized Design. The treatment in this research is vitamin C, fresh leaves in ethanol 96% extract, young leaves in ethanol 96% extract, and mature leaves in ethanol 96% extract. The main parameter of this research is IC50 values and the secondary parameters are total content of phytochemical in every extract. Data analysis using descriptive method with 4 treatments and five replications. The result of this research show that the maturity has influence in antioxidant activity. Inhibitory concentration 50 (IC50) values of shoot leaves extract, young leaves extract and mature leaves extract is 12.0013 ppm, 13.9915 ppm and 14.6613 ppm. All of them are called antioxidant which has very strong activities. The highest phytochemical compound is found on shoot leaves extract with ethanol 96% solvent.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ability of chemistry teachers to make based on the 2013 curriculum at Landak District Senior High School. The research method used is the descriptive method. The subjects of this study were teachers at SMAN 1 Sengah Temila, SMAN 4 Sengah Temila, and SMAN 1 Menyuke. The data test tool used was to submit the results and interviews. The results of the study indicate that the teacher's ability to make questions based on the 2013 curriculum is in the sufficient category because the teacher has difficulty in making HOTS questions and the differences in the cognitive level of the questions.

Abstract

Macrozoobenthos used as a bioindicator of the waters, this happens because of the nature of the benthos which has mpergerakan low so it got a lot of influence from the environment. This study aims to determine the condition of the river Kundur with a view the community structure of macrozoobenthos which include: species composition, abundance, diversity, uniformity and dominance as well as the physical and chemical parameters of water as a paremeter supporters. Based on the results of observations, macrozoobenthos were found during the study in the river Kundur consists of 3 phylum, 4 classes, 17 family with 11 species. The composition of the class of macrozoobenthos in the whole of the observation station consists of a Gastropod (37%), Insecta (23%), Malacostraca (20%), Polychaeta (10%) dan Malacostraca (20%). The value of an abundance ranged from 325,7 - 3309,6 ind/m3. With the value of the total abundance at Station I which is equal to 3690,1 ind/m3, Station II 3723,1 ind/m3, Station III 3692,3 ind/m3 can be categorized diversity are light polluted with the value of the index of uniformity (E) that describes the spread of the individual tends to be uniform or relatively the same. While the condition of the physical-chemical parameters and the substrate bottom of the river Kundur in general has a range of relatively homogeneous, spread evenly throughout the observation stations and still be able to support life macrozoobenthos. To the results of measurements of the parameters of physico-chemical water and substrate in the river kundur in general has a range of relatively homogeneous in the whole observation stations and still be able to support the life of the macrozoobenthos.

Abstract

Students are required to carry out learning, work, and creative activities at home in this era of the covid-19 pandemic because the virus is deemed unsafe even though there is a vaccine that has just been launched, so of course students feel bored because they are at home. To eliminate boredom, students do many things such as playing social media, looking for entertainment on television, cooking, sleeping, reading books, studying, and watching movies from various media such as youtube, television, VCD, etc. This research is associated with writing short stories. The purpose of this study was to determine the habit of watching films for the fourth semester students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program FKIP UMSU for the 2020-2021 academic year, to determine the ability to write short stories for the fourth semester students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program FKIP UMSU for the 2020-2021 academic year, to find out writing short stories through the habit of watching movies. The method used is descriptive method. The test for the habit of watching movies used an objective test (multiple choice). The number of tests is 10 items and each item consists of four alternative answers. If correct, the score gets 1 (for the correct answer choice) and a score of 0 (for the wrong answer choice). The test for the ability to write short stories uses an essay test.

Abstract

Kerapatan vegetasi di perkotaan dan pendesaan sudah sangat sedikit yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat. Informasi mengenai kerapatan vegetasi ini sangat penting diketahui dikarenakan adanya isu pemanasan global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menghasilkan peta sebaran dan kerapatan vegetasi di Kabupaten Dairi berbasis penginderaan jauh yang dilakukan di tahun 2018 yang meliputi kerapatan vegetasi dengan nilai NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) dan luasannya di Kabupaten Dairi tahun 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan interpretasi citra Landsat 8, menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografi (SIG). Proses pengolahan data menggunakan transformasi NDVI dengan rumus Sturgess yang diklasifikasikan menjadi 5 kelas, yaitu tak bervegetasi, jarang, sedang, lebat, dan sangat lebat. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara menghitung nilai kerapatan vegetasi digunakan metode rasio band Inframerah dekat (NIR) dan band merah (RED). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kerapatan jarang di kabupaten Dairi seluas 732,963025 Ha. Sedangkan kerapatan sedang seluas 1256,853488. Dan kerapatan lebat dengan luas 0,016307 Ha. Maka keseluruhan total kerapatan vegetasi di Kabupaten Dairi tahun 2018 adalah 1989,833 Ha. Wilayah dikabupaten Dairi tahun 2018 banyak didominasi dengan vegetasi sedang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of audiovisual learning media to the ability to write fairy tales by fifth semester students of the Indonesian Language Education study program at FKIP UMSU for the 2019-2020 academic year. The sample in this study was set randomly so that the chosen class V A morning as the experimental class and class V B morning as the control class. The sample consisted of 46 students consisting of 30 people in the experimental class and 16 people in the control class. The research location is in the Indonesian Language Education Study Program FKIP UMSU on Jalan Mukhtar Basri No. 3 Medan. The results in this study are that there is a significant influence of audiovisual learning media on the ability to write fairy tales by fifth semester students of the Indonesian Language Study Program FKIP UMSU in the academic year 2019-2020. The method used in this study is an experimental method, while the instrument used is an essay test in the form of writing a fairy tale.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve vocabulary learning through word game method with Pass Picture media in grade 2 students at SDN 3 Mendenrejo.Kabupaten Blora.This research is a class action research (PTK). Research is carried out in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, execution of actions, observations, and reflections. The research subjects were grade 2 students at SDN 3 Mendenrejo with 16 students. Data sources come from teachers and students. Data collection techniques are by observation. Data analysis using descriptive data analysis techniques. Research procedures are interconnected. The results showed that through the application of word game methods through pass picture media can improve student vocabulary learning outcomes from pre-cycle I and from cycle I to cycle II. Improvement occurs in cycle I. vocabulary learning ability increases even if it is not optimal. The implementation of cycle II causes the ability to learn vocabulary to increase so that it can support a quality learning. The conclusion of this research is that the application of word game methods through Pass Picture can improve vocabulary learning skills in the learning of grade 2 students at SDN 3 Mendenrejo
