Abstract

Limbah sludge biogas dari kotoran sapi berpotensi untuk dibuat briket. Kotoran sapi dapat digunakan sebagai bahan baku briket karena memiliki kandungan kimiawi cukup baik. Kandungan kimiawi kotoran sapi antara lain 22,59% selulosa, 18,32% hemiselulosa, 10,20% lignin, 34,72% total karbon organik, serta 1,26% total nitrogen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi terbaik dan karakteristik briket perekat daun randu terhadap kualitas briket sludge biogas. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh dari 6 pengujian yaitu uji kadar air, kadar abu, densitas, densitas kamba, laju pembakaran, dan nilai kalor. Variasi sampel yang digunakan adalah rasio antara bahan baku dengan bahan perekat. Rasio sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu (75% : 25%), (70% : 30%), dan (65% : 35%). Metode pengarangan yang digunakan yang digunakan adalah pirolisis, proses ini berlangsung selama 2-3 jam menggunakan suhu 200-300°C. Hasil terbaik diperoleh untuk variasi V1 yaitu kadar air 6,7638% (SNI<8), kadar abu 1,0199% (SNI<8), densitas 1,1627 gr/cm3(SNI>0,44), densitas kamba 0,3563 gr/cm3, serta laju pembakaran 0,0887 gr/s. Sedangkan nilai kalor yang diperoleh sebesar 2667 kal/gr. Nilai kalor ini masih belum memenuhi standar SNI yaitu >5 Kkal/gr sehingga membutuhkan penelitian lebih lanjut.

Abstract

The coffee production process carried out by the Sumber Kembang Farmers Group includes seeding to marketing products in the form of ready-to-eat ground coffee. Although this group of coffee farmers is considered to be quite good, there are still some weaknesses, namely the process of drying coffee beans is still done manually, namely drying in the sun. The manual drying process is highly dependent on land area, weather, and labor. Meanwhile, the coffee beans that have been harvested must be dried as soon as possible to maintain the quality of the coffee beans. In addition, farmer groups have not utilized information technology optimally. Therefore, this service activity was carried out with the aim of increasing the productivity of coffee farming through the design and training of Rotary Dryer and increasing sales of coffee products by expanding the reach of marketing through website creation. The implementation of socialization and training was aimed at members of the Sumber Kembang coffee farmer group located in Karangpring Village, Sukorambi District, Jember Regency. After further training, namely monitoring the results of service activities, this activity needs to be carried out to ensure that the application of technology is actually implemented by the Sumber Kembang farmer group. The method of activity applied in implementing this partnership program is the method of explaining the material about the application and benefits of rotary dryer using a power point, providing tools in the form of rotary dryer, and website training, after which monitoring is carried out. After the service activities have been carried out, farmers are able to operate rotary dryer and can increase market share thereby increasing consumer demand for coffee products from the Sumber Kembang farmer group. This is indicated by data on the increase in consumer demand for coffee products, which is above 25% for each type of product.

Abstract

Improving human resource skills is one of the pillars in determining the increase in quality and quantity of production in a business. In the coffee plantation business sector, the skills of coffee farmers play an important role in the production process. The operation of the machines used is an absolute requirement for achieving effectiveness and efficiency in the process. One of them is a coffee drying machine obtained by the Sumber Kembang farmer group from previous community service activities. This must be accompanied by operating skills so that in this service activity training will be carried out on the use of coffee drying machines. The methods used were surveys, training and discussions. The result of this service activity is the achievement of increasing the skills of coffee farmers in terms of operating coffee drying machines. Achievement of service activities is carried out by providing feedback to partners in the form of questionnaires. The results of the questionnaire showed that respondents from partner members mostly gave positive responses to service activities in the form of coffee drying machine training.

Abstract

Administration is a source that can be used to obtain data or information. The Jember State Polytechnic Tax Center should carry out administration well in order to provide the best service. One of the administrations that must be carried out by the Polije Tax Center is to administer customer data that is present at the Tax Center. Providing services to customers can take the form of consultations on filling out Annual Tax Returns (SPT) and tax consultations. Information on the number of customers can be an indicator of tax compliance, especially for Jember State Polytechnic employees. Apart from that, this activity also provided a book for recording incoming and outgoing letters so that they could archive letters at the Tax Center. The method used is surveys, discussions and also training for tax volunteers. The result of this service activity is that tax volunteers achieve understanding regarding the importance of administrative governance and administrative management. The achievement of service activities is demonstrated by the results of feedback from tax volunteers at the Tax Center. The feedback results show that 81% respondent stated that this service activity is very beneficial for partners

Abstract

Azka Food is one of the UMKM that produce coffee products, located in Klungkung Village, Jember Regency. The capacity of coffee bean produced by Azka Food are quite large, which is around 20 tons in one harvest. However, Azka Food's partners are still constrained in product marketing. Where, the marketing system carried out by Azka Food still uses the Word of Mouth Marketing (WoMM) method. The disadvantage of this method is that the process of spreading and marketing products is very slow. So that to overcome this problem, the solution provided by the Team is the introduction and implementation marketing based on marketplace. The implementation method in this activity begins with a discussion to map the needs of partners. Then, Azka Food as partners are given an introduction and assistance regarding the online marketing system. The online marketing introduced to partners is marketing based on marketplace. Partners are given an introduction to several platforms that are commonly used in the marketplace. As a result of this service activity, partners have 2 accounts on 2 selected platforms, namely Shopee and Tokopedia. Partners are also given an introduction to how to manage an online store, starting from the preparation of uploaded products to the management of the transaction system. With the use of marketing through e-commerce, it will increase marketing cost efficiency by up to 35%. This figure is measured based on the calculation of total costs, which are carried out through e-commerce and conventional methods. Where online marketing will reduce the operational costs of conventional marketing, such as print advertising or physical distribution. Online marketing will make it easier for partners to monitor through transaction data which includes sales volume and the amount of turnover received. In addition, the reach of marketing areas and customers will be wider without any additional operational costs.

Abstract

Rezti’s Batik merupakan UMKM pengrajin batik khas Jember. UMKM ini terletak di Kabupaten Jember tepatnya di Kecamatan Ambulu Desa Tegalsari. Selain memproduksi kain batik, Rezti’s Batik juga menghasilkan produk turunan seperti pakaian, syal, dan udheng. Untuk melestarikan seni batik, Rezti’s Batik juga memberikan edukasi batik bagi konsumen atau masyarakat umum yang ingin mengenal batik lebih dalam. Sementara ini permintaan kain batik terbanyak berasal dari konsumen lokal yaitu batik motif untuk seragam. Total produksi tiap bulan rata-rata mencapai 300 buah yang terdiri dari batik tulis dan batik cetak. Proses pemasaran menemui kendala yaitu metode pemasaran yang masih menggunakan metode Word of Mouth Marketing (WoMM) melalui informasi orang per orang. Oleh karena perlu dilakukan upaya yang lebih inovatif yaitu penerapan pemasaran berupa media digital yang berbasis website dinamis. Tahapan pengabdian masyarakat yaitu tahap persiapan dan koordinasi dengan mitra, tahap penerapan teknologi, tahap pengujian, dan tahap monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil yang diperoleh pada kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu mitra memiliki keterampilan untuk mengoperasikan website dinamis yang telah dibuat. Selain itu dengan adanya website dinamis jumlah konsumen bertambah dan berasal dari berbagai daerah. Bulan Juli 2025 saat website baru dibuat, masih belum ada pelanggan dan pemesanan, akan tetapi saat bulan Agustus jumlah pelanggan mencapai 10 orang dan jumlah pemesanan mencapai 5 pemesanan.

Abstract

Limbah kulit pisang dan jeruk mengandung bahan organik seperti kalium, magnesium, dan asam sitrat, yang dapat berfungsi sebagai sumber bio-baterai ramah lingkungan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi bagaimana perbedaan dalam komposisi kulit pisang tanduk (Musa paradisiaca) dan kulit jeruk peras (Citrus sinensis) memengaruhi karakteristik listrik bio-baterai seperti tegangan, arus, dan daya tahan. Sebanyak 11 sampel dengan komposisi berbeda (0–100%) dibuat dalam bentuk pasta, diisi ke wadah baterai bekas AA, lalu diuji menggunakan multimeter dan pH meter selama 6 jam. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kulit pisang kaya kalium (77,33%) dan magnesium (7,59%), sedangkan kulit jeruk mengandung kalsium (39,22%) dan magnesium (19,8%). pH cenderung lebih asam seiring meningkatnya proporsi kulit jeruk. Sampel B1 yang mengandung kadar jeruk tinggi menghasilkan tegangan dan arus awal tertinggi, namun cepat menurun, sedangkan sampel dengan kandungan pisang tinggi (B11) memiliki daya tahan lebih lama (hingga 18 jam 2 menit). Bio-baterai mencapai hingga 53,65% tegangan dan 44,40% arus baterai AA konvensional. Kesimpulannya, campuran kulit jeruk meningkatkan daya listrik sementara kulit pisang memperpanjang durasi kerja. Bio-baterai ini menunjukkan potensi sebagai solusi energi alternatif berbasis limbah organik meskipun masih memerlukan pengembangan lebih lanjut.

Abstract

Industri kerajinan batik telah lama ada di Kabupaten Jember. Salah satu batik ikon Jember adalah Batik Labako. Batik Labako merupakan batik yang memiliki corak daun tembakau. Salah satu UMKM yang memproduksi batik Labako yakni Rezti’s Batik. UMKM Rezti’s Batik beroperasi sejak akhir tahun 2012 dan sudah mendaftarkan merk ke Dirjen HKI pada tahun 2014. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah belum diterapkannya green industry dalam memproduksi produk, terutama jika dilakukan penambahan kapasitas produksi. Metode yang dilakukan adalah sosialisasi, perancangan dan pembuatan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS), implementasi teknologi dan pelatihan, dan diskusi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan selama delapan bulan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa PLTS telah terpasang dan telah dapat digunakan. Selain itu, mitra juga telah dapat mengoperasikan PLTS untuk kegiatan produksinya sehingga telah tercapai penerapan energi hijau pada lokasi mitra. Teknologi dryer room dapat meningkatkan produktifitas kain batik karena proses pengeringan kain batik dapat dilakukan kapan saja tanpa terhambat oleh kondisi cuaca. Dengan adanya dryer room ini jumlah peningkatan proses pengeringan batik mencapai 8 lembar kain per hari. Selain itu, mitra dapat menghemat pengeluaran untuk biaya listrik sekitar Rp 80.000,- per bulan.
