Abstract

This research study about the folktale of JD in the society of Sikka was examined from the perspective of cultural linguistics. The purpose of this study was to know the form, function, and the meaning of folktale of JD in Sikka society. The results showed that the form of JD folktale of superstructure consists of the introduction, contents, and cover. JD folktale function can be divided into two parts, namely the function of manifest and latent functions. The manifest function consists of the referential function, conative function, and the poetical function while the latent functions of JD folktale are as means of entertainment and educational facilities. The meaning contained in the JD folktale is the didactic meaning, historical significance, economic meaning, and political meaning.didactic meaning, historical significance, economic meaning, and political meaning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Student Worksheets (LKS) through the application of the Project-Based Learning model of Red Stone Making. The material developed is the subject of Social Natural Sciences (IPAS) with the material Force and Motion. This research occurred on grade IV students of SD Negeri Wailiti Maumere which amounted to 25 people. The results showed that the development of LKS with a Project-Based Learning approach to making red bricks of force and motion materials in grade IV SD Negeri Wailiti has been successfully developed through research procedures based on the R&D development model, and refers to several stages of 4D development, namely define, design, develop and disseminate, which is carried out only to the third stage. LKS validation is carried out by means of validation tests of media experts and material experts, and product trials. The effectiveness of LKS is shown at the field implementation test stage by filling out a questionnaire by sisswa. LKS with this Project-Based Learning approach received student assessments and responses that were included in the "Very Good" category with a score of 99.5. Based on the results of the data above, LKS with a Project-Based Learning approach is "Very Feasible" to be used as one of the learning resources for students in schools, especially in science subjects style and motion material for grade IV students of SD Negeri Wailiti.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan alat peraga lagapena terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran IPAS SDN XXV Wailiti. Alat peraga ini mengombinasikan pemikiran individual, diskusi kelompok, dan penulisan individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penggunaan alat peraga lagapena terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN XXV Wailiti. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif (eksperimen) dengan desain one group pretest posttest, yang melibatkan 15 orang siswa sebagai subyek penelitian. Hasil analisis menggunakan uji-t menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan alat peraga lagapena memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, dengan peningkatan rata-rata nilai pretest dari 59,8% menjadi 90,2% pada posttest. Hasil t-hitung sebesar 4.385 lebih besar dari t-tabel sebesar 2.064, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat peraga lagapena efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Data hasil belajar dikumpulkan melalui instrumen tes yang telah divalidasi sebelum digunakan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini dapat menjadi panduan bagi guru dan peneliti dalam menyusun strategi pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan partisipatif guna meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the influence of the principal's spiritual leadership on the personal formation of teachers and strengthening the character of elementary school students. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach through literature study. The results of this research show that school principals who are imbued with the spiritual leadership model have a positive influence on the personal formation of teachers and strengthening the character of elementary school students.

Abstract

This research explores the symbolic meanings and functions of the Tu Dhe’u ritual, an agricultural ceremony performed by the Maluriwu community in response to rat infestations. This research aimed to unveil the symbolic meanings and function of the Tu Dhe’u ritual using Roland Barthes's semiotic approach. To collect the data, the researchers conducted an unstructured interview to explore the informants’ perspectives on the Tu Dhe’u ritual’s symbolic meaning and function. The data were subjected to qualitative analysis using a descriptive approach. The findings indicated several symbolic elements embedded within each stage of the Tu Dhe’u ritual such as Dhe’u (rats), Sope (rat boat), Pa’e (prayers), Purification using coconut water, Traditional Sites, Sea, Tua Ka, Tu Laja, and Phije.
