<![CDATA[The purpose of this research is to know the process of implementing on-line teaching and learning in schools during the pandemic; the reason why schools do not yet have an on-line Learning Application; and the reasons teachers cannot use online learning media. This research can also provide input for schools in dealing with technological changes that are developing in supporting the teaching and learning process as well as in dealing with pandemic conditions like today. The results showed that the implementation of teaching and learning is known that online teaching and learning and the use of applications and online learning media are in good category with an average percentage of 27.09%. It can be said that if the online Catholic teaching-learning process wants to run well, then the teachers are well prepared and equipped by the school, one of which is providing complete facilities for the online teaching-learning process, as well as providing regular training to teachers, especially in using applications. study. And teachers are also prepared through trainings to be able to make interesting teaching materials through electronic communication media.]]>

<![CDATA[Penulis ingin mempelajari tingkat pengetahuan umat akan Sakramen Tobat dan pengaruh pengetahuan itu dengan perilaku hidup umat setelah menerima Sakramen Tobat. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk umat beriman Katolik di wilayah Dekenat Kupang. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pengujian antara pengetahuan umat akan Sakramen Tobat dengan perubahan perilaku umat setelah menerima sakramen ini. Metode yang penulis pakai dalam penelitian ini yaitu motode yaitu kuantitaf dan kualitatif. Data penulis peroleh lewat menyebarkan angket kepada 210 umat yang tersebar di berbagai paroki. Perhitungan data membuktikan bahwa ada perbedaan yang meyakinkan antara data yang diperoleh dengan apa yang diharapkan. Dengan kata lain, yang diharapkan adalah umat dapat mengubah sikapnya setelah menerima Sakramen Tobat dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa umat yang memiliki pengetahuan memadai tentang Sakramen Tobat mengubah sikapnya setelah mereka menerima Sakramen Tobat. Perubahan tersebut tampak pada sikap hidup maupun sikap rohani. Seperti berdamai dan berprilaku baik terhadap sesamanya serta aktif dalam kehidupan rohani. Lewat hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pengetahuan umat akan Sakramen Tobat berpengaruh pada perilaku umat setelah menerima Sakramen Tobat. Pengetahuan yang dimaksud di sini dapat berupa ajaran Gereja tentang Sakramen Tobat dan pendapat serta ajaran dari Bapa-bapa Gereja tentang Sakramen Tobat.]]>

<![CDATA[Community service activities are carried out by prioritizing the spirit of protecting the environment. The equivalent is stated in the Laudato Si' document issued by Pope Francis. This ecological catechesis invites people to be more aware and active in caring for the environment, especially the protected forests around the village. In the catechesis process carried out in Sungai Langer hamlet - Sanggau Regency - West Kalimantan, the service team educated them on the importance of nature and forests, and that it is the responsibility of all village residents to maintain their preservation. This service method is carried out by providing teaching and education through eco-technical catechesis activities to all village residents in accordance with the call of Laudato Si'. The aim of this activity is that people become more sensitive to environmental damage and its impact on human life.]]>

<![CDATA[The research addresses the lack of active involvement of prospective catechists in spiritual activities and their lack of awareness of their primary duties. The study aims to encourage formal educational institutions to focus on educating and preparing students to become professional catechists and to increase awareness of their main tasks from an early age. The author utilized qualitative methods, including a descriptive and evaluative model, and conducted open interviews with community leaders and students at Sekolah Tinggi Pastoral Keuskupan Agung Kupang (STIPAS Keuskupan Agung Kupang). The findings revealed the inactivity and ignorance of prospective catechists about their duties. The research suggests the need for educational institutions to provide assignments and practical experience in a sustainable environment and to improve coordination between these institutions and the Church or parish.]]>

<![CDATA[Character as a messenger is an important factor that must be present in students who are prospective Catholic religion teachers or catechists. In fact, coaching for students to have character is still very minimal. This research was conducted to obtain information regarding character building which is carried out through spiritual retreats and Catechical Spirituality courses. This study involved students as research subjects. The data collection process was carried out through observation, questionnaires, discussions, and interviews with students and heads of study programs. This research provides information that through spiritual retreats, students are fostered to be able to live the character of Christ; can build a relationship with God and others. Respondents felt that spiritual retreat activities were also very useful, namely at 83.1%. But not in Catechist Spirituality lectures. According to the students, lectures are only theoretical and have no impact on increasing student awareness to live the character of Christ as a role model. Following up on the findings of this research, it is hoped that the study program will choose lecturers who are appropriate and competent and have experience as catechists not only in prohibiting theory but also being able to share their experience in creating.]]>

<![CDATA[This research explores the challenges faced by parents in educating children. This research uses an interview method approach. The aim of this research is to look at parents' teaching patterns towards children in the digital era, especially in terms of the use and use of gadgets. This research study is also to illustrate the values of the Amoris Laetitia document regarding joy in the family with the parenting patterns of children. The research results show that parents are still used to their children's rigid needs, lack of consistent discipline, parents who do not understand the dangers of gadgets, so they do not understand the positive and negative impacts of using gadgets. Parents find it difficult to control the social environment and the needs provided by parents are limited to physical needs but there are no spiritual needs. However, this research is far from perfect and there are many shortcomings, therefore future researchers are advised to conduct research in different locations to see whether the results are consistent or whether there are differences that arise due to differences in culture, geography or social conditions, but focus more on Artificial Intelligence (AI), especially its impact on children's education and parenting patterns.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keprihatinan peneliti terhadap keadaan lingkungan saat ini: ada polusi di mana-mana. Penyebab pencemaran lingkungan lainnya adalah berdampak pada kesehatan manusia dan kelangsungan keanekaragaman hayati. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kebiasaan pengelolaan sampah yang dilakukan umat Katolik. Metode Penelitian ini adalah motede penelitian kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan proses wawancara. Wawancara dilakukan kepada Pastor Paroki dan delapan orang perwakilan umat Katolik dari Paroki Agustinus, Keuskupan Agung Pontianak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Paroki telah berusaha semaksimal mungkin untuk mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai Laudato Si'. Misalnya saja mengadakan workshop dan pelatihan penerapan gaya hidup ramah lingkungan, tentu saja sejalan dengan nilai-nilai Laudato Si'. Namun tidak bisa dipungkiri masih ada masyarakat yang mengelola sampah dengan cara membakarnya. Hal ini disebabkan oleh tingginya tarif sampah, lokasi pembuangan sampah yang jauh, dan belum adanya pemisahan antara sampah organik dan anorganik. Peneliti mengambil kesimpulan bahwa kesadaran lingkungan umat Katolik terhadap perlindungan lingkungan dan pengelolaan limbah masih perlu ditingkatkan. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya adalah melakukan penelitian dengan tema serupa namun tetap memperhatikan aspek sosial, ekonomi dan budaya.]]>

<![CDATA[Tuhan menghendaki terjadinya pembaharuan, terhadap bumi dan seluruh ciptaan. Syarat dari pembaharuan itu adalah adanya keterbukaan manusia akan berbagai macam kemungkinan. Abraham, memberi contoh kontekstualisasi dan tolerasi dalam pluralitas. Keragaman atau pluralisme sosio religius saat ini menjadi kenyataan yang tidak mungkin dihindari. Keberagaman tentu saja harus diterima bukan sebagai konflik namun sebagai kekayaan. Untuk mencapainya, tentu yang dibutuhkan adalah sikap toleransi. Unkapan sikap toleransi itu dapat ditunjukkan lewat pengalaman hidup konkrit dalam masyarakat. Dekrit Nostra Eatate Dokumen Konsili Vatikan II menyatakan: seluruh bangsa merupakan satu masyarakat, seluruh manusia mempunyai satu asal. Semua manusia memiliki tujuan sama yaitu keabadian bersama Allah dalam kerajaan-Nya. Gereja Katolik pun secara terbuka menyatakan keterbukaannya terhadap keberagaman agama serta menghargai umat non Kristiani. Karl Rahner seorang teolog Katolik yang cukup keras bersuara tentang keberagaman dan keterbukaan. Lewat slogannya yaitu: ‘Kristen Anonim’, artinya orang non Kritiani juga dapat diselamatkan jika mereka melakukan hal-hal baik seperti yang diajarkan Kristus. Lewat kalimat ini beliau berpendapat bahwa: dengan kedatangan Kristus ke dunia dalam rupa manusia, merupakan bukti nyata bahwa keselamatan yang ditawarkan Allah adalah untuk semua manusia tanpa terkecuali.]]>

<![CDATA[This research began with the author's concern about the increasing erosion of values in the Dayak Gawai tradition. Gawai is only seen as a festival event that only contains fun. This causes a shift in meaning as a form of expression of gratitude and building an attitude of solidarity. This research study is a cultural study in relation to Pope Francis' Apostolic Exhortation in the Querida Amazonia Document. The method used in the research is a qualitative method, the technique used to obtain data is interviews. The results of the interview were then linked to points related to Querida Amzonia's values. The research results show that there is no conflict between culture and the Catholic faith. The author realizes that this paper has many shortcomings, for example the data mining method which only uses three informants and the rigid analysis technique of interview results. So the next suggestion for the author is to increase the number of informants and look at the application of gadgets to several Dayak ethnic groups as a comparison.]]>

<![CDATA[The issue in this research is the lack of quality in learning, including in Catholic religious education. This certainly affects the instillation of values, which is the primary goal of learning. Therefore, the demand for teachers to become more professional is a key requirement. This study examines the role of Catholic Religious Education teachers in instilling Christian values. The research method used is qualitative, employing interview and documentation techniques to collect data. The data analysis technique for interview results involves reducing interview data, analyzing the results, and drawing conclusions. The interview process was conducted with Catholic religion teachers and students in three schools. This research was carried out in Sekadau Hulu District, involving three senior high schools in the district. The findings show that Catholic Religious Education teachers have not fully made the instillation of Christian values the primary goal of learning. The learning process tends to be merely formal, causing students to engage in it only as a graduation requirement. Teachers' preoccupation with administrative tasks also impacts the meaningfulness of the learning experience. The role of Catholic Religious Education teachers has not been maximized; learning is primarily a transfer of knowledge, and the practical activities carried out appear to have little meaningful impact on students.]]>
