Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kepercayaan orang tua yang memiliki anak usia dini terhadap layanan guru laki-laki dan guru perempuan di Indonesia. Angket digunakan sebagai alat pengumpulan data , sampel sebanyak 140 orang tua yang terdiri dari 70 ayah dan 70 ibu pada pendidikan anak usia dini di kabupaten Purbalingga. Dalam analisis statistik dilakukan melalui uji non parametrik man withney dan distribusi frekuensi. Temuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pendapat yang signifikan antara guru laki-laki dan guru perempuan. Mayoritas orang tua lebih percaya apabila anaknya dilayani oleh guru perempuan, hal tersebut dilihat dari perhatian, bersikap adil terhadap anak, hubungan yang baik dengan anak, komunikasi yang efektif, kreatif dalam pembelajaran, tanggung jawab, pengembangan potensi serta kode etik guru perempuan lebih baik daripada guru laki-laki. Temuan lainnya bahwa laki-laki mulai diterima oleh orang tua dalam pendidikan anak usia dini.Kata kunci : guru laki-laki, guru perempuan, pendidikan anak usia dini, kepercayaan orang tua

Abstract

Implementasi permainan berisiko seringkali dikecualikan, hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya pengetahuan orang tua dan guru dalam mengelola permainan ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah panduan pengelolaan bermain berisiko untuk stimulasi motorik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan pendekatan ADDIE. Produk melalui proses uji kelayakan dengan dilakukan validasi oleh ahli media dan materi, selanjutnya produk yang disudah dinyatakan layak diuji efektivitas melalui uji respon pengguna yakni 28 orang tua dan guru di Kabupaten Cirebon, data dikumpulkan melalui angket terbuka dan tertutup serta dianaliasis mengunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil uji kelayakan oleh ahli media memperoleh hasil pada tahap II dengan kategori Sangat layak, adapun hasil ahli materi dengan kategori sangat layak. Selanjutnya, hasil uji respon pengguna memperoleh kategori sangat layak. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk panduan bermain berisiko merupakan produk yang layak dan efektif dalam stimulasi motorik anak usia dini.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of digital storybooks in promoting personal hygiene and toothbrushing among young children. This study employs the research and development (R&D) method. It follows the ADDIE development model, which includes five key stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This product was created using the Canva and Flipbook applications. The product has been assessed for suitability by media and material experts. This research also involved assessments by five teachers, and to test its effectiveness, the product was tested on five sample students at Khalifah Al-Qolam Kindergarten. Data was collected through questionnaires and observations. The data obtained was analyzed using a quantitative descriptive approach. The research results indicate that the digital storybook learning media is feasible, with a 95% approval rate from subject matter experts and an 85% approval rate from media experts. The teacher response test yielded a 68% approval rate, and the student trial test yielded a 92% approval rate, thereby confirming the product's feasibility and effectiveness for use. Thus, this digital storybook can introduce young children to personal hygiene practices, such as brushing their teeth.

Abstract

Based on preliminary needs analysis, the availability of learning media that introduce local cultural knowledge to early childhood, particularly in the form of cultural encyclopedias, remains limited. As a result, children’s exposure to local cultural knowledge in formal learning environments is still relatively low, especially regarding Cirebon culture. This study aims to design, develop, and evaluate “Si Ebon,” a digital Cirebon cultural encyclopedia intended as a learning medium to support the revitalization of local culture in early childhood education (ECE). The study employed a development research approach using the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The product was validated by media experts, subject matter experts, and cultural experts to ensure the appropriateness of the content, design, and cultural representation. The implementation involved teachers and early childhood students from several ECE institutions in Cirebon. Data were collected through questionnaires and observations and analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the product. The results indicate that the “Si Ebon” digital encyclopedia is highly feasible and effective as a culturally responsive learning medium. Its use enhances children’s understanding of various elements of Cirebon culture, including local history, traditional arts, culinary heritage, traditions, and historical sites. This study contributes to the development of digital-based cultural learning media and highlights the potential of integrating local cultural content into early childhood education as a strategy for cultural revitalization.

Abstract

Risky play presents a paradox in early childhood education (ECE): while it offers significant benefits for children’s growth and development, it raises concerns among parents and teachers. This study aims to explore the perceptions of parents and educators regarding risky play in early childhood. A survey approach was employed using a mixed-methods concurrent embedded design, combining quantitative and qualitative descriptive analyses. The study involved 112 participants, comprising early childhood education teachers and parents in Java. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews to gather insights into parental knowledge about risky play, the types of risky play, their concerns, and their expectations. Quantitative findings revealed that 77% of parents are familiar with risky play, while 30% are not. Parents expressed the highest concern for water-related activities (90.9%), followed by sliding activities (88.4%). Injuries were identified as a significant concern, with 56.6% worried about physical harm and 14.8% about peer influence. Additionally, parents and teachers highlighted the importance of receiving information on risk management in risky play. The findings of this study can inform the development of risk management programs tailored for early childhood education, ensuring a balance between developmental benefits and safety considerations

Abstract

AbstrakKarakter dalam tari merupakan bagian terpenting selain dari gerak dan irama musik. Lemahnya kreativitas dalam pembelajaran tari menjadi persoalan utama dalam teknik penguasaan karakter, sehingga berpengaruh terhadap unsur-unsur lainnya seperti gerak dan musik karena unsur tari tersebut merupakan satu kesatuan yang tidak dapat dipisahkan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperdalam pemahaman terhadap karakter dalam tari, yaitu Tari Topeng Cirebon. Karakter dalam Tari Topeng Cirebon sangat variatif, yaitu Topeng Panji, Rumyang, Tumenggung, Samba, dan Klana. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan tentang karakter “gagah” dalam Tari Topeng Klana. Lemahnya karakter seseorang, khususnya remaja dalam memerankan perannya di kehidupan menjadi persoalan lain yang berkaitan dengan karakter “gagah” yang dimaksud. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh bahwa Tari Topeng Klana Cirebon memiliki nilai karakter gagah, yang dimana tercermin dari data tekstual dan kontekstual tentang Tari Topeng Klana Cirebon. Nilai karakter gagah pun dapat termanifestasi melalui proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan melalui model pembelajaran role playing.Kata kunci: Tari Topeng Klana Cirebon, karakter, gagah AbstractCharacter in dance is the most important part beside the movement and the rhythm of the music. Weak creativity in dance learning is the main problem in character mastery techniques. Thus, it affects other elements such as motion and music because these elements of dance are an inseparable unit. This research was conducted to deepen the understanding of the characters in dance, namely Cirebon Mask Dance. The characters in Cirebon Mask Dance are very varied, namely Panji, Rumyang, Tumenggung, Samba, and Klana masks. This paper aims to describe the "gallant" character in the Klana Mask Dance. The weakness of a person's character, especially teenagers in playing their roles in life, is another problem related to the "gallant" character. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach. Based on the result of this study, it is found that the Cirebon Klana Mask Dance has a “gallant” character value, which is reflected in the textual and contextual data about the Cirebon Klana Mask Dance. The value of a “gallant” character can also be manifested through a learning process carried out through a role playing learning model.Keywords: Cirebon Klana Mask Dance, character, gallant
