Abstract

Bukan rahasia lagi kalau saat ini dunia sedang mengalami perkembangan yang sangat pesat dalam berbagai bidang dan aspek kehidupan masyarakat dan negara. Batas-batas teritorial antarnegara yang sebelumnya menjadi salah satu kendala yang dihadapi dalam konteks hubungan antarbangsa dan negara, kini hal itu tidak menjadi kendala yang berarti. Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi  dalam eskalasi yang tinggi terutama teknologi informasi, komunikasi, dan transportasi telah menyebabkan batas-batas atau sekat-sekat geografis antarnegara dan bangsa seolah tak nampak lagi. Pantas, kalau banyak pihak mengatakan bahwa kecenderungan kehidupan bangsa dan negara saat ini mengarah kepada terbentuknya suatu masyarakat global (global village).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the estimation of item parameters and students' abilities between the dichotomous scoring version and the polytomy scoring version. The data used in this study is the response of participants in a particular year national mathematics exam test which is presented in two versions of the scoring form, namely dichotomy and polytomy. In the dichotomous scoring version, each item is scored individually. Alternatively, each item that is scored separately on the dichotomous version, is aggregated into the same indicator, and then summed to obtain the polytomy version. Estimation of item parameters and students' abilities in the dichotomous scoring version was carried out using the 3 PL (Logistics Parameter) model using MLE estimation and the polytomy scoring version using the GPCM (Generalized Partial Credit Model) using EAP. Both were analyzed using PARSCALE software. Comparative analysis of the two scoring versions by looking at the average results of the estimated difficulty level, graph analysis, calculating correlations, and the results of the value of the information function. The results of the analysis show that the average difficulty level of the dichotomous version is 0.166, with a standard deviation of 1.137, while the average difficulty level of the polytomy version is 0.033, with a standard deviation of 0.940. The value of the dichotomous scoring version of the information function is higher than the polytomy scoring version. These results indicate that the math exam test with the dichotomous scoring version is better than the polytomy scoring version. graph analysis, calculate correlations, and result in value information functions. Abstract

This study aims to determine students' creativity ability using model ARIAS. This study uses quantitative research with an experimental method, with the entire population of students of class VIII MTs Sabilul Chalim Leuwimunding, as many as 136 students. The sample in this study using cluster random sampling was divided into two groups: VIIIC class as the control class with a total of 34, and VIIID class as a class experiment with several students as many as 34 students—research analysis using linear regression. The results showed that students' response to learning by using a model of ARIAS has a strong category with an average of 75.6%, and the creativity of students with models categorized ARIAS as more than enough for the average post-test score of 75.26. In contrast, students' creativity using conventional methods (lectures) was organized less, with an average of 62.97, and the third use of the learning model ARIAS positively affected students' creativity by 20.7%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe whether or not mastery of trigonometry affects students' ability to solve geometric problems in class X at SMAN Kadugede. The form of research used in this study is a quantitative research method. The research design used in this study is a one-shot case study, meaning that the treatment is applied to one experimental group, and then the dependent variable is measured. This design aims to determine a variable's effect on other variables effectively. The data collection instrument used was a test of mastery of trigonometric material and students' abilities in solving three-dimensional space problems. The population in this study was 253 students of class X; in this study, the authors took samples using the cluster random sampling technique with the object sampled in this study, namely class X 4, as many as 34 students at SMA Negeri 1 Kadugede. Analysis of the research data using linear regression test. Mastery of trigonometry material significantly influences mastery of three-dimensional space material. This is indicated by a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 and the regression equation obtained is Y = 11.435 + 0.758 . The equation means that the ability to solve geometrical problems increases or increases by 0.758 times the mastery of trigonometry material, while the constant value of 11.435 states that if students do not have mastery of trigonometry material, then the ability to solve three-dimensional space problems is shallow. The results of the statistical test showed that there was an effect of mastery of trigonometry material on students' ability to solve three-dimensional problems.

Abstract

The Qur'an is the holy book of Muslims, encompassing not only guidance for faith but also various fields of knowledge, including mathematics. One of the relevant branches of mathematics is algebra, which serves as an analytical tool to understand religious commands, particularly in the management of infaq. This study aims to analyze the connection between algebraic concepts and Qur'anic verses related to infaq using a literature review approach. The lack of prior research integrating algebra and verses on infaq motivated this study. The findings identify six algebraic concepts applicable to the calculation, management, and distribution of infaq, supported by Qur'anic verses, tafsir, and empirical data from institutions such as BAZNAS. The study focuses on variables, coefficients, and constants in algebra and their application to obligatory and voluntary infaq. The analysis demonstrates that algebraic concepts can simplify calculations and facilitate infaq management while reinforcing the link between science and Islamic values. This research contributes to motivating individuals to give infaq by understanding its essence and the remarkable rewards described in the Qur'an. The findings also offer new insights into the utilization of algebra to support a more systematic and practical management of infaq in the modern era. Al-Qur’an merupakan kitab suci umat Islam yang tidak hanya mengandung petunjuk keimanan, tetapi juga berbagai ilmu pengetahuan, termasuk matematika. Salah satu cabang matematika yang relevan adalah aljabar, yang dapat berfungsi sebagai alat analisis untuk memahami perintah syariat, khususnya dalam pengelolaan infak. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis keterkaitan antara konsep aljabar dengan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an tentang infak melalui pendekatan kajian pustaka. Kurangnya penelitian sebelumnya yang mengintegrasikan aljabar dan ayat tentang infak mendorong dilakukannya kajian ini. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi enam konsep aljabar yang dapat digunakan untuk menghitung, mengelola, dan mendistribusikan infak, dengan dukungan ayat Al-Qur’an, tafsir, serta data empiris dari BAZNAS. Fokus penelitian mencakup variabel, koefisien, dan konstanta dalam aljabar, serta penerapannya pada infak wajib dan sunnah. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa konsep aljabar mampu menyederhanakan perhitungan dan mempermudah pengelolaan infak, sekaligus menguatkan hubungan antara ilmu pengetahuan dan nilai-nilai keislaman. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memotivasi masyarakat untuk berinfak dengan memahami esensi dan ganjaran luar biasa yang dijelaskan dalam Al-Qur’an. Temuan ini juga membuka wawasan baru tentang pemanfaatan aljabar untuk mendukung pengelolaan infak secara lebih sistematis dan aplikatif di era modern.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to analyze the impact of implementing assessments that do not consider differences in student learning styles in mathematics learning. The method used is an experiment with a quasi-experimental design. Students in two different class groups were randomly selected. The experimental group received an assessment that took learning style into account, while the control group received an assessment without considering this. The results of data analysis show that the learning outcomes of students who do not receive learning style-based assessments are not as optimal as those of students who receive learning style-based assessments (p < 0.05). These findings highlight the importance of considering students' learning styles in the assessment process to improve the effectiveness of mathematics learning. Analysis of questionnaires related to student perceptions of learning style-based assessments shows varying results. The overall indicator scores show variation in students' perceptions of mathematics assessments, with a fairly wide range of scores. Most students feel motivated to learn by implementing learning style-based assessments in mathematics assessments. However, some students experience limitations in developing their potential with learning style-based assessments. These findings provide valuable insight into diverse student perspectives on the use of learning style-based assessments in mathematics learning contexts.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the content validity, construct validity, reliability, difficulty level, discriminating power, and the effectiveness of distractors of the weekly test questions for SMPN 1 Astanajapura. These questions were independently created by the teachers of SMPN 1 Astanajapura and have not been previously tested or analyzed. The population or subjects of this study are ninth-grade students, selected using purposive sampling, meaning not all ninth-grade students were used as samples, only 3 out of 8 classes were chosen as samples. Data collection in this research employed documentation and interview methods. The analysis results show good content validity and construct validity. The reliability value is 0.88 with a confidence level of 0.60. The distribution proportion of difficulty levels is easy and moderate, with 70% being easy and 30% moderate. As for the discriminating power of the questions, 70% were categorized as sufficient, and 30% as good. The effectiveness of the distractors needs improvement to be used effectively.

Abstract

TheQur'an is a reference for all numbers such as odd and even. Even odd numbers are numbers that Allah SWT likes and even numbers are the complement of odd numbers. The Qur'an contains many miracles including the miracle of the number 19 and many letters that describe the pattern of multiples of 19 in terms of words, letters and verses, one of the letters related to the number 19 is Surah Al-'Alaq. This study aims to find mathematical patterns and the meaning of numbers contained in Surah Al-'Alaq verses 1-5. Surah Al-'Alaq verses 1-5 were chosen because they have content and privileges. Al-'Alaq is the first revelation of the Nabi Muhammad SAW, this letter has hidden messages and values of education, divinity, and reasoning. So that humans can continue to learn and understand what they do not know. This type of research is descriptive qualitative which reveals the mathematical patterns contained in Surah Al-'Alaq verses 1-5 described or presented using numbers with the literature study method. The data used are the arrangement numbers in Surah Al-'Alaq 1-5. The results of the study found that there are 5 patterns in Surah Al-'Alaq verses 1-5 and there are multiples of 3. Mathematical patterns are important for understanding, they can help students solve problems and identify relationships in various contexts.

Abstract

The Qur'an is the greatest miracle, studying the Qur'an is like studying the universe, it will never end. One of the sciences contained in the Qur'an is mathematics. The structure of numbers is a science of mathematics, in which there are various kinds of numbers, relations and arithmetic operations. The purpose of this study is to find out the verses of the Qur'an that are related to mathematics, especially numbers, arithmetic operations and number relations. This study uses the literature method or literature study. In this study what will be examined is document material, namely the verses of the Qur'an which contain the structure of mathematical numbers. There are 234 different verses in the 65 letters mentioned in the Qur'an, especially rational numbers and natural numbers with division based on the origin of each number such as ahad = 1, itsnaini = 2, and so on. It is hoped that this research can provide scientific insight that the Qur'an covers all sciences, one of which is related to mathematics, so that mathematics itself has been used so widely both in matters of worship and muamalah. Mathematical problems in the Qur'an that are most closely related are problemsFaraidh(distribution of inheritance), determining the time of night prayer and determining the price of the dowry that must be given to the wife when divorced. The benefits in education are forming Islamic character education through learning mathematics, including honesty, patience, accuracy, and thoroughness.

Abstract

Pembinaan, pemberdayaan dan pembimbingan narapidana secara holistik dan integratif adalah pemberian bekal narapidana secara menyeluruh, baik mental, spiritual, sosial dan keterampilan usaha bertujuan untuk menetapkan kesadaran kepada mereka secara optimal sehingga mampu kembali menjadi warga yang baik di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Lapas Kelas IIB dan Bapas Majalengka sebagai dua lembaga yang bersinergi dengan tugas masing-masing, yaitu Lapas melakukan pembinaan dan pemberdayaan, adapun Bapas melakukan pembimbingan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini melalui intervensi dan penguatan terhadap tugas kedua lembaga ini membantu keduanya menjalankan koneksitas program dan meningkatkan keberhasilan program bagi narapidana. Pelaksanaan pengabdian dimulai dengan wawancara dan observasi, forum grup diskusi dan ekspo hasil pengabdian. Berdasarkan hasil pengabdian, diperoleh beberapa manfaat, selain penguatan program bagi Lapas dan Bapas juga keikutsertaan secara aktif para Narapidana terhadap kegiatan yang diselenggarakan sehingga dapat meningkatkan kondisi mental dan spritual serta kemampuan sosial dan kemandirian para narapidana di Lapas IIB Majalengka.
