Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of using Digital Storytelling (DST) to develop student’s ability in speaking for English Club students of SMK-SMTI Pontianak in academic year 2014/2015. The method used in this research is pre-experimental study that administers pre-test and post-test to measure the effectiveness of the treatment. The sample of this research was 8 members of English Club. The researcher used the measurement technique to collect the data and the tool of data collecting was oral performance tests. The researcher used the t-table α (0.05) and the result of the t-test is 5. The t-table with degree of freedom of 7 is 2.365. The result of computation of t-test in this research is higher than t-table. It proves that the use of Digital Storytelling is strongly effective to develop student’s ability in speaking. Key Words: Digital Storytelling (DST), Speaking Ability Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keefektifan pengunaan Digital Storytelling untuk mengembangkan kemampuan siswa dalam berbicara bagi siswa English Club di SMK-SMTI Pontianak tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu pre-eksperimental dengan melaksanakan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur keefektifan treatment. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah delapan siswa English Club. Peneliti menggunakan teknik pengukuran untuk mengumpulkan data dan alat yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dengan tes penampilan berbicara. Peneliti menggunakan t-table α (0.05) dan hasil dari t-test adalah 5. T-table dengan derajat kebebasan 7 adalah 2.365. Perhitungan akhir menunjukkan bahwa t-test pada penelitian ini lebih besar dari t-table. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa penggunaan Digital Storytelling sangat efektif untuk mengembangkan kemampuan siswa dalam berbicara. Kata kunci: Digital Storytelling (DST), Kemampuan Berbicara

Abstract

Metode Jackknife dan Bootstrap merupakan metode berbasis resampling. Kedua metode ini biasa digunakan untuk inferensia statistic, yaitu pada pendugaan parameter dengan sebaran awal yang tidak diketahui. Metode Jackknife dan Boostrap merupakan metode yang tidak didasarkan pada pemenuhan asumsi tertentu, sehingga metode ini dapat diterapkan pada seluruh data kuantitatif. Secara teori dapat dibuktikan bahwa metode Jackknife merupakan penduga yang baik untuk data asal. Namun berdasarkan kreteria Kuadrat Tengah Galat (KTG), metode Bootstrap lebih tepat digunakan karena menghasilkan nilai KTG yang lebih kecil dibanding metode jackknife.

Abstract

Children are the forerunners of youth. Therefore, the handling of children who are in conflict with the law should not lead to stigmatization and lack or even lack of coaching towards them so that their hopes to become young people can be useful to their nation. Referring to this, it is important to agree on the child safety model that is in conflict with the law and children who are in conflict with the law. One form of special protection for children as perpetrators of crime is to establish a Women's and Children's Services Unit (PPA Unit), which was formed based on the Regulation of the Chief of the Republic of Indonesia State Police Number 10 of 2010 concerning the Organization and Work Procedure of the Women's and Children's Services Unit (PPA Unit ) in the Indonesian National Police Environment. The purpose of writing this thesis, namely: first, the legal obligations towards the handling of cases of minors at the Police Level, second, the validity of handling cases of minors carried out by Investigators outside the Protection Unit for Women and Children.This type of research used in this study is normative legal research or can be called doctrinal law research. In this normative legal research, the writer conducts a research on legal synchronization, by conducting an identification in advance of the legal principles that have been formulated in the legislation. Sources of data used, primary data, secondary data, and tertiary data, data collection techniques in research with literature review.From the results of the research problem there are three main things that can be concluded. First, the legal obligation towards handling cases of minors at the Police Level is carried out by child investigators namely the protection unit for women and children, this is regulated in Article 26 of Law Number 11 Year 2012 Concerning the Child Criminal Justice System and Police Regulation Number 10 of 2007 concerning Organization and Work Procedure of Women and Children Service Units in the Indonesian National Police Environment. Second, the validity of handling cases of minors carried out by Investigators outside the Women's and Children's Services Unit handling cases of children is legal based on the provisions of Article 26 paragraph (4) of Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the juvenile justice system and Article 10 of Police Regulations Number 10 Year 2007 concerning the Organization and Work Procedure of Women and Children Service Units in the Republic of Indonesia National Police Environment.Keywords: Child-Handling-Child Case-PPA Unit

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh question drill competition (QDC) terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa SMAN 3 Sukoharjo. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI.F.5.B sebanyak 35 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif untuk menguji hipotesis dengan bantuan pengolah data statistik. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes yang terdiri dari pretest  dan posttest. Analisis data menggunakan program SPSS 25 dengan metode  paired sample t test. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil posttest lebih besar dari nilai rata-rata hasil pretest , yang berarti ada peningkatan hasil pemahaman konsep siswa sesudah diterapkan QDC. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikan yang diperoleh sebesar  yang mana lebih kecil dari nilai uji asumsi yaitu , dengan demikian  ditolak dan  diterima. Hal ini berarti ada perbedaan antara hasil pemahaman konsep siswa sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan QDC. Dengan kata lain terdapat pengaruh pemahaman konsep siswa sesudah diterapkan QDC. Kata Kunci : Question Drill, Competition (QDC), Pemahaman Konsep  THE INFLUENCE OF QUESTION DRILL COMPETITION (QDC) ON THE UNDERSTANDING OF MATHEMATICAL CONCEPTS OF STUDENTS IN CLASS XI SMAN 3 SUKOHARJO AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of question drill competition (QDC) on concept understanding of students of SMAN 3 Sukoharjo. The subjects in this study were students of class XI.F.5.B as many as 35 people. The method used is quantitative to test the hypothesis with the help of statistical data processing. Data collection using tests consisting of pretest and posttest. Data analysis using SPSS 25 program with paired sample t test method. The results show that the average value of the posttest results is greater than the average value of the pretest results, which means there is an increase in the understanding of student concepts after QDC is applied. The results also show that the significant value obtained is 0.000 which is smaller than the assumption test value of 0.05, thus  is rejected and  is accepted. This means that there is a difference between the results of students' concept understanding before and after QDC is applied. In other words, there is an influence on students' concept understanding after QDC is applied. Keywords : Question Drill Competition (QDC), Concept Understanding

Abstract

This study was conducted to address the issue of students' low comprehension of mathematical concepts. Learning videos were explored as a potential instructional medium to improve this comprehension. The purpose of the research was to examine the effectiveness of learning videos on the comprehension of mathematical concepts among grade XI students at SMA Negeri 3 Sukoharjo. A quantitative research method was employed using a true experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. The sample consisted of 66 students from classes XI F.5A and XI F.5B, selected through a cluster random sampling technique. Data were collected through a test assessing students' comprehension of mathematical concepts. Prerequisite tests, including normality and homogeneity tests, were conducted prior to hypothesis testing, which was carried out using the t-test. The results indicated that learning videos effectively improved students' comprehension of mathematical concepts. This conclusion was supported by the t-test results, where tcount (2.1085) exceeded ttable (1.669), leading to the rejection of H0 and acceptance of H1​. Furthermore, the experimental group showed a significant increase in average scores after the intervention with learning videos, with the pretest average of 76.24 rising to a posttest average of 87.91. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that learning videos are an effective instructional medium for enhancing the comprehension of mathematical concepts among grade XI students at SMA Negeri 3 Sukoharjo in the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

Era digital menghadirkan tantangan serius bagi lembaga pendidikan Islam dalam menjaga citra dan kredibilitasnya di tengah derasnya arus informasi. Isu-isu negatif yang beredar di ruang publik digital sering kali membentuk opini yang merugikan, bahkan sebelum klarifikasi resmi diberikan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara konseptual strategi komunikasi Islam yang dapat digunakan untuk merespons isu negatif terhadap lembaga pendidikan keislaman, dengan fokus pada prinsip-prinsip komunikasi Islami dan adaptasi terhadap karakteristik media digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka terhadap literatur komunikasi Islam, manajemen krisis, dan dinamika media digital. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi Islam ideal mencakup sikap proaktif, penggunaan narasi positif, pemanfaatan media sosial secara etis, serta penguatan komunikasi kelembagaan yang berbasis nilai-nilai Islam seperti kejujuran, kebijaksanaan, dan kesantunan. Tantangan utama meliputi penyebaran hoaks, krisis kepercayaan publik, dan minimnya kapasitas komunikasi digital di lingkungan pesantren. Oleh karena itu, penguatan kapasitas SDM dan transformasi manajemen komunikasi berbasis nilai Islam menjadi kunci menghadapi era keterbukaan informasi. Artikel ini merekomendasikan model komunikasi strategis Islami sebagai pedoman bagi lembaga pendidikan keislaman dalam menjaga reputasi sekaligus menjalankan misi dakwah di era digital.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the level of satisfaction among students at Tidar University regarding the services provided by the Student Cooperative (Kopma), which plays a crucial role in meeting students' daily needs and serves as a platform for developing entrepreneurial skills. The methodology employed in this study is quantitative, with data collection conducted through the distribution of questionnaires to a number of students from various faculties. The satisfaction assessment refers to the five dimensions of SERVQUAL, namely assurance, reliability, tangibility, empathy, and responsiveness. The analysis results indicate that, in general, students feel 'satisfied' with the services of Kopma, particularly in the aspects of assurance, reliability, tangibility, and empathy, with satisfaction levels ranging from 61% to 76%. These aspects reflect the students' trust in the cooperative's ability to provide reliable services, good physical appearance, and the professionalism and care of the staff. However, there are several indicators that received a 'fairly satisfied' rating, such as issues related to security and cleanliness in the cooperative area, the quality of the goods offered, and the speed and effectiveness in handling complaints and suggestions from students. These findings suggest that the level of student satisfaction has a positive relationship with their loyalty to the cooperative. Students who feel satisfied are more likely to return to use the services and recommend them to their peers. Therefore, the cooperative management needs to conduct regular evaluations and continuously improve service quality to create a better experience, enhance customer loyalty, and support the sustainability and development of the student cooperative within the Tidar University environment.

Abstract

Pentingnya kemandirian harus mulai ditumbuh kembangkan ke dalam diri anak sejak usia dini. Hal ini penting karena ada kecenderungan di kalangan orang tua sekarang ini untuk memberikan proteksi secara agak berlebihan terhadap anak – anaknya. Rumusan masalah dalam pengabdian ini adalah bagaimana cara memberikan pemahaman dan membentuk kemandirian pada anak – anak Yayasan Ikhlasul Amal Umat yang diharapkan dapat membantu menumbuhkan karakter pada anak – anak untuk kedepannya. Tujuan dalam pengabdian ini untuk membentuk kemandirian pada anak – anak Yayasan Ikhlasul Amal Umat. Metode pengabdian dengan cara memberikan dan menjelaskan materi tentang kemandirian. Kemandirian merupakan suatu kemampuan yang dimiliki anak untuk melakukan segala sesuatu secara mandiri, baik yang terkait dengan aktivitas diri sendiri maupun aktivitas dalam kesehariannya, tanpa harus tergantung sepenuhnya pada orang lain. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM yaitu Membentuk Kemandirian pada Anak – anak Yayasan Ikhlasul Amal Umat, yang diharapkan dapat membuat anak mudah untuk melakukan kegiatan bermain dan berinteraksi secara baik, mudah untuk diajak bekerja sama dan berkomunikasi. Kata Kunci: anak – anak; kemandirian; membentuk

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian laboratorium untuk menguji efektivitas konsorsia bakteri indigen dalam mereduksi logam Hg pada limbah cair industri tepung agar. Penelitian dilakukan berdasarkan hasil observasi awal, bahwa terkandung logam berat Hg sebesar 1,1093 mg/L dalam limbah tepung agar. Nilai tersebut melebihi batas minimal yang ditetapkan pemerintah PP No.82 Th. 2001 yakni kadar Hg minimal 0,002 mg/L. Kadar Hg yang tinggi akan bersifat toksik bagi kehidupan makhluk hidup. Proses pengolahan limbah melalui pendekatan Biologi dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan bakteri indigen pereduksi Hg. Bakteri indigen paling potensial yang diperoleh adalah Pseudomonas stutzeri dan Actinomyces viscosus. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas konsorsia bakteri dalam mereduksi logam berat Hg. Uji reduksi dilakukan dengan berbagai konsentrasi isolat yakni 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%, dan 7% dari 100ml limbah yang terdiri dari isolat A:Pseudomonas stutzeri, B: Actinomyces viscosus dan konsorsia AB: gabungan dariPseudomonas stutzeri dan Actinomyces viscosus. Data efektivitas konsorsia bakteri dalam mereduksi Hg dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik anava dua jalur. Konsorsia bakteri indigen konsentrasi 7% mampu menurunkan kadar Hg sebesar 74,5%.
