Abstract

Implementation of Community Service at SDN Panumbangan 1, Panumbangan District, Ciamis Regency aimed to develop entrepreneurship education based on practical experience through collaboration between the university and the elementary school. This activity was designed to introduce entrepreneurship concepts to students from an early age by integrating basic entrepreneurial theories with hands-on practice. The community service program was carried out through interactive teaching methods, group discussions, and direct practice in designing simple business ideas. The results showed an increased understanding among students of fundamental entrepreneurship concepts, enhanced creativity in generating business ideas, and improved teamwork skills. Evaluations indicated that the program successfully fostered entrepreneurial interest among students and improved their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. The sustainability of this program requires further integration into the elementary school curriculum and continuous training for educators to support more effective entrepreneurship implementation.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the capacity of the people of Sukagalih Village in developing local economic potential through a creative economy approach. The program involved seminars and training sessions focused on the utilization of local resources, development of creative products, and digital marketing strategies adapted to the village’s characteristics. The results of the activity showed an increase in community understanding of creative business opportunities based on local culture and surrounding natural resources. This initiative also encouraged the formation of community-based business groups as an initial step toward economic self-reliance in the village.

Abstract

Women who take on dual roles as professionals and homemakers are vulnerable to psychological pressure, role conflict, and mental health disorders. Female teachers in pesantren-based secondary education institutions face unique challenges due to the intersection of moral, cultural, and professional expectations. This community service initiative aimed to provide education on both the positive and negative aspects of dual roles, along with practical strategies for time management and mental health maintenance. The implementation used a participatory approach and visual media. The activity was conducted on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at secondary education institutions in Suryalaya, Tasikmalaya, and was attended by 30 female teachers. The program included interactive lectures, educational video screenings, group discussions, and collective reflection. The results of the pre–post test showed a 68% increase in participants' understanding. Evaluation indicated that 92% of participants found the activity highly beneficial, and a post-event support group was formed. This intervention effectively increased the awareness of female teachers about the importance of balancing roles and maintaining mental health.

Abstract

Organizational vision serves as a strategic compass that directs all elements of an institution toward long-term goals. However, without effective leadership, the process of internalizing and operationalizing this vision often fails to reach its full potential. This community service initiative aimed to strengthen the capacity of educational personnel in pesantren-based institutions in Suryalaya by developing their understanding and application of effective leadership principles. The intervention employed participatory approaches through interactive workshops, group discussions, and strategic planning simulations. Thirty education staff members from various institutions took part in the program, representing roles from school leadership to teaching and administration. The results showed a significant increase in the participants’ ability to articulate their organizational vision, identify key performance indicators, and develop actionable leadership strategies. Post-activity evaluation indicated that 90% of participants considered the program useful and applicable to their institutional context. This program highlights the importance of aligning leadership capacity with the organizational vision to foster institutional resilience and progress.

Abstract

Retail businesses within pesantren environments face unique challenges, particularly in maintaining consistent customer engagement and managing financial records. This community service initiative, conducted by lecturers from STIE Latifah Mubarokiyah (STIELM), aimed to enhance the managerial capacity of retail business units under the Suryalaya Islamic Boarding School by developing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategies and providing technical assistance in financial report preparation. The activity employed a participatory and hands-on learning approach. Thirty participants from pesantren-affiliated retail businesses joined the sessions, which covered CRM principles, customer loyalty programs, and basic bookkeeping. Practical outputs included the formulation of customer service guidelines and structured income-expenditure records. Evaluation results indicated that 87% of participants gained new insights and expressed confidence in applying CRM techniques and financial recording practices. This initiative has laid the groundwork for more structured retail business management in pesantren-based enterprises.

Abstract

This community service initiative addresses the entrepreneurial challenges faced by rural families in Godebag Village, Tasikmalaya Regency. Limited business knowledge, poor marketing strategies, and the informal nature of micro-enterprises have hindered economic growth and sustainability. A team from STIE Latifah Mubarokiyah (STIELM) implemented a program using the IPOO (Input–Process–Output–Outcome) framework to enhance local entrepreneurial and marketing capacities. The program involved 35 participants, comprising housewives, youth, and micro-business owners, and focused on business planning, marketing strategies, and participatory learning. As a result, 20 business plans and marketing tools were produced, while 91% of participants expressed high satisfaction. This outreach contributes to building resilient family economies through practical, community-based business education.

Abstract

The digital era has transformed the way organizations manage their human resources, demanding adaptive skills, digital competencies, and agile systems. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), especially in rural and semi-urban areas, often struggle to adapt to these rapid changes due to limited knowledge, technology access, and workforce readiness. This community service program aimed to enhance the human resource management (HRM) capacity of MSME actors in Tasikmalaya through digital literacy training, workforce planning, and the introduction of simple HR digital tools. Using the IPOO framework (Input–Process–Output–Outcome), the program was attended by 30 MSME owners and managers and facilitated by faculty members from STIE Latifah Mubarokiyah. Results showed increased understanding of HRM principles, improved ability to manage digital workforces, and enthusiasm to adopt digital tools for employee data and task tracking. This initiative underscores the importance of equipping MSMEs with modern HR skills to remain competitive and sustainable in the digital age.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the culinary sector contribute significantly to the local economy in Tasikmalaya. However, many culinary entrepreneurs, especially those producing traditional food products in Panumbangan District, face challenges in preparing structured and sustainable business plans. This community engagement program aims to provide technical assistance and training for culinary MSME actors in developing comprehensive business plans tailored to their specific business contexts. Using a participatory approach and the IPOO (Input–Process–Output–Outcome) framework, this program involved needs assessment, training workshops, practical mentoring, and business plan development. The results showed increased awareness, knowledge, and skills among participants in creating and implementing business plans. The outcomes also indicate a positive shift in participants' readiness to apply strategic planning for business growth. This program proves that systematic and context-based assistance can empower local MSMEs and strengthen their sustainability in the regional creative economy.
