Abstract

This study aims to improve nationalist character education for students, especially in grade VI elementary schools. This type of research is qualitative research, which focuses on the implementation of naationalist character education in grade VI SD. Nationalist character education for elementary school children, especially in grade VI, is a process of fertilizing from an early age for them. In nationalist character education there are civic education subjects that teach the values contained in Pancasila and teach and educate students to become individuals who have habits of national character in their daily lives. Seeing the current condition of children, students have decreased in terms of implementing national character in their lives. Therefore, schools through civic education are expected to be able to train and educate students so that students have a nationalist attitude in their lives. A nationalist attitude is an understanding attitude that has cultural and regional harmony. They also have the same ideals and goals so that they feel the desire to defend their country, both from internal and external threats.

Abstract

The influence of online or online learning one year ago has had a huge impact on education in Indonesia, which of course affects the moral development of children. During the Covid 19 pandemic it had quite a variety of impacts for everyone. The occurrence of sudden changes in daily habitats always causes emotional unpreparedness for each family member, in the development of early childhood behavior. This study involved respondents from several parents, with the data obtained using quantitative. Where respondents from several parents will be presented in the form of a table of research results. Data collection techniques using google form media. The study collected data from the results of the analysis with quantitative data analysis techniques. It can be seen that there is a policy from the government that implements online or online learning that changes all learning activities at educational institutions. Where online or online learning changes moral development in students, especially in early childhood and elementary school age.

Abstract

Humans can not be separated from learning. A person will definitely go through a period in life when he needs to study. The learning can be formal or informal. Elementary school is a place to learn and acquire knowledge at an early level which can be the foundation for students. The problem now is that many students are less enthusiastic about learning, get bored quickly to carry out learning. In this case the teacher must be able to increase students' interest in learning. The aim of this study is to analyze student learning motivation that develops through the teaching competence of teachers in the classroom. The research method uses descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique was carried out based on the results of the interviews. The results showed that the teaching skills of teachers had a partial positive effect on students' learning motivation. So that student learning motivation can be increased by improving the teaching skills of elementary school teachers.
