Abstract

This service focuses on "Community Empowerment through the Utilization of Household Waste into Organic Fertilizer in South Lembang Batualu", people who do not understand how to make organic fertilizer by using used materials, people still lack understanding in terms of adapting the plants to be planted in the soil with different conditions. Therefore, this service focuses on the theme "organic farming" which aims to increase public awareness and broaden people's knowledge about organic farming, especially in making organic fertilizer using household waste. The method we use is the approach method, this method is a method carried out directly by students to inspire the community in South Lembang Batualu. The results achieved are able to help with community problems regarding organic farming in South Lembang Batualu, so that this service activity can have a positive impact, namely that the community understands more about organic farming, especially in making organic fertilizer using household waste.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an effect of compensation and work discipline on employee performance at UD. Karya Mandiri in Makale Utara, Kabupaten Tana Toraja. The total population is 31 people, all of whom are respondents in this study. This study uses primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to employees who work at UD. Karya Mandiri in Makale Utara, Kabupaten Tana Toraja. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression, which is operated through the SPSS 23 program. The results show that work discipline (X1) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y) at UD. Karya Mandiri in North Makale District, Tana Toraja Regency. While compensation (X2) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y) at UD. Karya Mandiri in North Makale District, Tana Toraja Regency. Simultaneously work discipline and compensation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at UD. Karya Mandiri in Makale Utara, Kabupaten Tana Toraja.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of land and building tax revenue (PBB) in Lembang Pemanukan, Gandangbatu Sillanan District, Tana Toraja Regency. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative where the researcher provides an overview of how the level of effectiveness of land and building tax revenue (PBB) in Lembang Pemanukan. The data analysis technique used in this research is effectiveness, namely comparing the realization of PBB revenue with the target of PBB revenue. The results showed that the collection of land and building taxes in Lembang Pemanukan, Gandangbatu Sillanan district, Tana Toraja Regency from 2018-2020 was in the effective or successful category. The effectiveness of land and building tax receipts in Lembang Pemanukan, Gandangbatu Sillanan sub-district in 2018-2020 was caused by several things, including public awareness in paying PBB, socialization of taxes to the public directly, so that the PBB reached the target which was said to be effective because it almost reached the PBB target.

Abstract

Community service is one part of the tridharma of higher education that must be carried out. The Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on various sectors, especially the economic sector, one of which is MSMEs. For this reason, community service in the form of assistance in managing MSMEs is considered very necessary. The aim of implementing the Community Service for Management of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) during the Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) Pandemic in Lembang Ratte Talonge, Saluputti District is to help resolve MSME problems in developing businesses through training in business management in the Covid-19 Era, financial management and capital in Lembang Ratte Talonge, Saluputti District. Apart from that, this community service also aims to improve the skills of business actors in managing MSMEs in Lembang Ratte Talonge, Saluputti District.

Abstract

Vegetable cultivation is quite a large sector in agriculture. Tondon Mamullu Village, Makale District has a women farming group (kwt) called KWT Mawar, and concentrates on vegetable cultivation. This group of women rose farmers have the potential to progress in their cultivation field, but the lack of motivation, limited knowledge of cultivation and continuity of cultivation as well as limited marketing are obstacles in the cultivation process, so they need to be given a little direction from university stakeholders to be able to dedicate their knowledge to the community. The long-term objectives of this program are: (1) Encouraging the growth of motivation and creativity of the Mawar Bodas kwt in the plant cultivation process so as to increase production, (2) Helping the Mawar kwt's potential in developing cultivation with maximum production, and (3) Assisting the Mawar kwt in solving problems in cultivation. The specific target to be achieved is the production of several types of vegetables.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of management education on building resilient communities through the community service initiative involving international students. The research utilizes a qualitative approach, incorporating a case study design. The study involved interviews with educators, community leaders, and program participants. The main participants included international students participating in the cultural immersion program and members of UKI Toraja who engaged with these students. Participants were selected through purposive sampling, focusing on individuals who were actively involved in the program. Five international students and five members of the Management Study Program at UKI Toraja were chosen to provide a variety of perspectives and experiences, ensuring the study represented diverse viewpoints. In-depth, semi-structured interviews were conducted with the selected international students and UKI Toraja Management Study Program members . The data gathered from interviews and participant observations were transcribed and analyzed through thematic analysis. This approach involved coding the data to uncover recurring themes, patterns, and key narratives related to cultural exchange, learning outcomes, and community impact. The result of this study shows that the impact of management education on building resilient communities through the community service initiative involving international students namely Mutual Learning and Exchange and Increased Social Cohesion.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan Koperasi Credit Union Sauan Sibarrung. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan data primer berupa kuisioner yang disebar pada karyawan yang bekerja di Koperasi CU Sauan Sibarrung dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 reponden. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan di Koperasi CU Sauan Sibarrung dengan nilai gaya kepemimpinan sebesar 83,86 % dan kinerja karyawan sebesar 81,51 %. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear sederhana dan diperoleh persamaan yaitu Y = 36,857 + 0,587X. Dengan koefisien determinasi (R kuadrat) sebesar 0,662 yang mengandung arti bahwa pengaruh variabel gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 66,20 %, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Kata Kunci: Gaya Kepemimpinan, Kinerja Karwawan Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style on the performance of the Sauan Sibarrung Credit Union Cooperative employees. The data collection technique used in this study is to use primary data in the form of questionnaires distributed to employees who work in the Sauan Sibarrung CU Cooperative with a total sample of 60 respondents. The results showed that leadership style had a positive and significant influence on employee performance in the Cooperative CU Sauan Sibarrung with a leadership style value of 83.86% and employee performance of 81.51%. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression and the equation is Y = 36,857 + 0,587X. With a coefficient of determination (R squared) of 0.662 which means that the influence of the leadership style variable on employee performance is 66.20%, while the rest is influenced by other variables. Keywords: Leadership Style, Employee Performance

Abstract

The tax sector is the biggest supporter of state revenue, therefore the reporting of the Annual Income Tax Return for Individual Taxpayers needs to be considered by every taxpayer in an organization, where the obligation as a taxpayer must make a report no later than March 31 of the following year through e-filing. The e-filing system can help employees report their tax obligations to the government more easily and transparently. The purpose of implementing Community Service (PKM) is to help partner employees understand what income tax is and how to use e-filing in reporting the Annual Income Tax Return for Individual Taxpayers 1770 SS. This is done to support employee compliance and responsibility in fulfilling their obligations as taxpayers. The method for implementing this PKM is by providing material, filling out simulations and assisting in reporting the Annual Income Tax Return for Individual Taxpayers 1770 SS via e-filing, so that each employee can report the Annual Income Tax Return directly.

Abstract

Human resources are resources that are no less important in a company. As movers, human resources must have standards. The success or failure of a company in achieving its goals depends on the success of its human resources in carrying out their duties. The success of employees in carrying out their duties is supported by their performance. To achieve the expected goals, an employee must perform well. Performance is the result of the work produced by an employee. Therefore, the organization always strives to create employee performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership on the performance of PT. Malea Energy. This is an example of quantitative research. This study's population consists of 30 PT. Malea Energy employees. The determination of the sample is based on saturated samples, namely, all populations are used as samples, so the number of samples in this study is 30 employees. The data analysis technique is simple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results of the study found that leadership has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees at PT. Malea.

Abstract

This service aims to provide assistance in improving the skills of weavers in introducing motifs and marketing woven fabric businesses using social media. The mentoring method used in this research includes skills training. The result of this activity is the improvement of skills and knowledge of the weavers. This will lead to the production of quality products and the development of innovative designs or motifs that respect Toraja cultural values, thus attracting consumer interest. Through this activity, weavers can exchange experiences and learn from each other. The implication of this activity is that mentoring focused on improving technical skills, knowledge, and online marketing methods is an effective strategy in developing woven fabric businesses
