Abstract

Background: Based on the results of a preliminary study conducted at the Kalanganyar Health Center, Lebak Regency, it was found that 8 out of 10 mothers of couples of childbearing age (80%) did not know the benefits, types and side effects of the contraceptives used. Purpose: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes of mothers of childbearing age couples towards the use of contraceptives at the Kalanganyar Health Center, Lebak Regency. Methods: Cross sectional through a point time approach where samples are taken using a total sampling of 75 respondents. Data analysis using chi square test. Results: Demonstrate the level of knowledge and attitudes associated with contraceptive use (p-value 0,000). Conclusion: There is a relationship between the level of knowledge and the attitude of mothers of childbearing age couples towards the use of contraceptives. It is expected that the Kalanganyar Health Center through the Village Midwife will provide counseling and consultation guidance on the use of contraceptives so that mothers of childbearing age couples have awareness of the importance of using contraceptives.

Abstract

Background: Based on an initial survey conducted by researchers at the Bhayangkara Brimob Kelapadua Hospital, Depok, data was obtained that out of 122 female nurses, 70 (57%) nurses experienced dysmenorrhea which could interfere with performance because it caused the services provided to be less than optimal. Purpose: To determine the relationship between the incidence of dysmenorrhea and the performance of nurses at the Bhayangkara Brimob Kelapadua Hospital, Depok in 2023. Methods: Cross sectional through a point time approach where samples were taken using a total sampling of 70 respondents. Data analysis using chi square test. Results: There is no significant relationship between the incidence of dysmenorrhea and nurse performance, this is shown by the value (p-value 0,183). Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between the incidence of dysmenorrhea and the performance of nurses at the Bhayangkara Brimob Kelapadua Hospital, Depok, so that nurses can still provide optimal nursing care services even though they are experiencing dysmenorrhea.

Abstract

Background: Based on a preliminary study conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Rangkasbitung, Lebak Regency, it was found that 90% (18 out of 20) students had a spouse. Purpose: To determine the relationship between the level of reproductive health knowledge and premarital sexual attitudes in students at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Rangkasbitung, Lebak Regency. Methods: Cross-sectional through a point time approach where samples were taken using a total sampling of 97 respondents. Data analysis using chi square test. Results: Demonstrate the level of reproductive health knowledge related to premarital sexual attitudes (p-value 0.023). Conclusion: There is a relationship between the level of knowledge of reproductive health and sexual attitudes. It is hoped that the school can provide information and socialization about the impact of free sex in an effort to minimize promiscuity, as well as educating how to positively respond to students' attraction to the opposite sex so that the growth and development process can take place optimally.

Abstract

Background: Based on a preliminary study conducted at Vocational Secondary School Insan Mandiri Al-Khairi, Lebak Regency, it was found that 80% (16 out of 20) female students experienced menstrual cycle disorders. Purpose: To determine the relationship between stress levels and menstrual cycles in female students at Vocational Secondary School Insan Mandiri Al-Khairi, Lebak Regency. Methods: Cross sectional through a point time approach where samples were taken using a total sampling of 97 respondents. Data analysis using chi square test. Results: Shows stress levels related to the menstrual cycle (p-value 0.001). Conclusion: There is a relationship between stress levels and female students' menstrual cycles. It is hoped that students can strengthen coping mechanisms in dealing with stressors when carrying out their duties as students at school and their adolescent life outside of school so that the menstrual cycle becomes regular and the growth and development process becomes optimal.
