Abstract

Penulisan Tesis ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan Ekowisata Mangrove Telok Berdiri di Desa Sungai kupah, strategi pengelola dalam memperoleh bantuan pembangunan dari pemerintah maupun pihak swasta, dan perubahan sosial yang terjadi akibat interaksi antara masyarakat lokal dengan pengunjung serta menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perubahan sosial akibat interaksi yang terjadi di Desa Sungai Kupah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Setelah melakukan penelitian lapangan dan analisa, hasil penulisan ini mengungkapkan bahwa pengembangan Ekowisata Telok Berdiri diakibatkan oleh penambahan pembangunan dan kunjungan Menteri Pariwisata Dan Ekonomi Kratif Republik Indonesia, Dr. H. Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, B.B.B.A.,M.A. dalam rangka penganugerahan desa wisata dan penghargaan KALPATARU untuk penggagas Ekowisata Telok Berdiri dan perubahan sosial masyarakat lokal dari gaya bicara mengikuti gaya modern yang di bawah oleh pengunjung serta budaya berpakaian lebih mengikuti budaya berpakaian pengunjung Seperti dahulunya masyarakat tidak terlalu mementingkan urusan penampilan dan gaya hidup, mereka lebih mementingkan masalah kebutuhan pokok dari pada masalah penampilan, tetapi sekarang berbeda keadaannya, karena kini urusan penampilan dan gaya hidup mulai menjadi perhatian serius.

Abstract

The presence of oil palm plantations causes a reduction in forest area which is the basis for fulfilling life needs, and encourages changes in cultural values. The purpose of the study was to determine changes in cultural values due to the presence of oil palm plantations. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and document research, while analysis was carried out by organizing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the cultural values of the Dayak Hibun community around oil palm plantations have not changed much, they still have a mindset and attitude of resignation and satisfaction with problems. In work, they still aim to fulfill the needs of life but are starting to be future-oriented.

Abstract

Social services for the elderly or elderly people are still rarely discussed from the perspective of social workers as the scientific discipline that covers them. This problem has an impact on social services for the elderly which are still not holistic, so previous studies have not been able to find the basic needs, basic concepts, and basic patterns of this social work sector. This study will further explore social services for the elderly at the Graha Werdha Marie Joseph Nursing Home in Pontianak through the perspective of social workers. Data was collected through two data search techniques, namely non-participant observation and in-depth interviews. The results of the research show that the forms of social services provided by social workers in nursing homes include providing decent and comfortable accommodation, providing life insurance in the form of health, food, clothing and other necessities, carrying out recreational activities, and providing guidance. religious, mental and social. The basic needs of the elderly are to fulfill their living needs from the moment they arrive at the nursing home until the end of their life. The concept of social services for the elderly is charitable, that is, social workers provide social resources unilaterally. Abstract

The high number of Tuberculosis (TB) cases in Indonesia causes social paralysis in the community. Therefore, the TOSS-TB program is designed to alleviate and break the chain of spread of Tuberculosis (TB) throughout Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the TOSS-TB program, especially at the Sungai Durian Community Health Center. The Working Area of the Sungai Durian Community Health Center, which is a tropical area, is the main factor that has quite potential in the development of several disease germs, so researchers are interested in making the Sungai Durian Community Health Center a research subject in the implementation of the TOSS-TB program. Implementation analysis based on Edward III's implementation theory assesses the success of the program through four aspects, namely resources, communication, bureaucracy, and disposition. The method in this study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques in the form of purposive sampling. The results showed that the implementation of the TOSS-TB program at the Sungai Durian Community Health Center in the aspects of communication, disposition, and bureaucracy had met the criteria. However, the resource aspect is still constrained in terms of facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Hijab styles and models come in various variations. The hijab, not only as a cover for the private parts but has also emerged as a form of self-expression. Muslim women who wear trendy hijabs are called hijabers. Following the hijab fashion trend that is currently happening through social media, influencers, and the surrounding environment, causes an increase in the cost of living for hijabers among students at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Tanjungpura University, which is due to the increase in purchasing power to follow the hijab trend. This research aims to describe and analyze the hijabers lifestyle among students at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Tanjungpura University using ethnographic qualitative research. The use of consumer behavior lifestyle theory according to Philip Kotler and Gary Armstrong is used to analyze the results of research on consumer behavior lifestyle based on motivation and resource factors. This study found that there are various styles and styles of hijab that are influenced by social media and trends, increasing the cost of living.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the kinship system of the Dayak Ribun tribe in West Kalimantan. It uses the kinship system tree to visualize the relationship roots. This effort is also based on the refinement of the tree that has existed in the past. Moreover, the method used is an ethnographic approach, where data collection is carried out explicitly using observation, in-depth interviews, and live-in. Ethnic ethnography is gathering a variety of information from its source. According to the results, the kinship system in the Dayak Ribun community is bilateral, that is, relations through two family lineages, both sides of the mother or wife and father or husband. The principle of heredity is bilateral, where the responsibilities of husband and wife are the same in the family, both in children's education and in controlling the family economy. The marriage of a family member who is still a descendant from both the father and the mother is strictly prohibited, which is only allowed to marry between cousins ​​three times. In the distribution of inheritance, there is no difference between sons and daughters. Still, there are differences in some instances, especially for those who remain with their parents. They will get a higher share because they are responsible for their parents' old age until they die.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji Lauya dalam praktik pengobatan alternatif di kalangan komunitas etnis Tionghoa di Desa Parit Baru, Kecamatan Sungai Raya, Kabupaten Kubu Raya, Kalimantan Barat. Lauya, sebagai bagian integral dari pengobatan tradisional Tionghoa memegang peran penting dalam praktik penyembuhan non-konvensional. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis peran serta pengaruh Lauya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari komunitas Tionghoa di wilayah tersebut, khususnya dalam konteks kesehatan dan penyembuhan merujuk pada konsep Health Belief. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Lauya masih memiliki posisi yang signifikan dalam praktik pengobatan alternatif di kalangan etnis Tionghoa di lokasi studi. Keberlanjutan tradisi ini didorong oleh keterikatan budaya yang kuat serta keyakinan akan efektivitasnya, yang dapat dipahami melalui dimensi health belief model, yaitu persepsi kerentanan, persepsi keparahan, persepsi manfaat, dan pemicu tindakan. Selain berfungsi sebagai metode penyembuhan, Lauya juga menjadi simbol identitas budaya yang memperkuat solidaritas dalam komunitas Tionghoa.

Abstract

Infrastructure development is the government's responsibility towards the community, but in reality the infrastructure growth carried out by the government is gradual, this gives rise to unequal development in each region which has an impact on unequal road development. This research was conducted because of uneven development in Durian Village, while based on the APBDes, the priority development in the village is infrastructure. The aim of the research is to describe the roles played by the community in building roads. This research method uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach, determining informants using a purposive sampling technique consisting of 5 people. The results of research on the role of NGOs in the form of deliberation and fundraising carried out by the community are mutual cooperation, contributions and cooperation with NGOs. The role of NGOs and communities in the road construction process.

Abstract

Abstract:Sungai Kupah Village is a coastal area and directly faces the South China Sea. The villagers' main source of livelihood and income is from agricultural products, especially coconut and areca nut commodities. The villagers of Sungai Kupah grow areca nut by intercropping with their coconut plantations. The coconut and areca nut crops are not yet reliable sources of livelihood. This means that it cannot be used as a support to improve community welfare. The method of implementing this PKM is carried out in three stages, namely First, conducting field orientation, Second, implementing PKM activities, Third, conducting evaluations. The results achieved in this PKM activity have provided benefits to the community, this can be seen from the response submitted by the community which is quite positive and hopes that there will be a continuation of similar activities by involving stakeholders in an integrated manner.

Abstract

Although Madurese women in this village are relatively small, they often carry out various economic activities, especially in the informal sector, which go unnoticed by others. The purpose of the research is to find out the work ethic, and motivation of Madurese women to trade. The results of observations, interviews, and document studies were processed descriptively with a qualitative approach. The results showed that Madurese women choose to work as traders because they do not have special skills, making it difficult to find other jobs. Madurese women have diverse work ethics, including hard work, responsibility, simple living, as well as tenacity and persistence in running their business.
