Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh sebagian siswa masih merasa kesulitan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab termasuk dalam membaca bahasa Arab, permasalahan tersebut disebabkan oleh beberapa hal salah satunya adalah kurangnya perhatian guru terhadap penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian research and development (R&D). Data yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini menggunakan non-tes berupa angket kebutuhan guru dan siswa terhadap media pembelajaran Magic Disc Arabic berbasis karakter religius, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap kelima yaitu potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, dan revisi desain. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah hasil analisis kebutuhan guru dan siswa terhadap pengembangan media pembelajaran Magic Disc Arabic untuk keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab kelas VIII MTs menunjukan hasil guru dan siswa menghendaki media pembelajaran Magic Disc Arabic yang memuat kosakata disertai dengan gambar ilustrasi kartun, materi, penjelasan tata bahasa, dan evaluasi. Purwarupa media Magic Disc Arabic didesain menggunakan aplikasi Corel Draw X7 kemudian dicetak dengan bahan kertas Art Karton. Hasil analisis validasi para ahli dan guru terhadap media Magic Disc Arabic berbasis karakter religius untuk keterampilan membaca siswa kelas VIII MTs di Kota Semarang adalah media Magic Disc Arabic dinyatakan sangat layak/ sangat sesuai dalam aspek kelayakan isi (materi), penyajian, bahasa, dan grafis dengan rata-rata 362,6 nilai dan termasuk kategori ≥360 (sangat layak/ sangat sesuai).

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh yang disebabkan oleh penerapan lingkungan bahasa terhadap kemampuan berbicara bahasa Arab di MA Al-Irsyad Tengaran. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian cause & effect dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi. Data berupa penerapan program lingkungan dibandingkan dengan nilai kemampuan siswa dalam mata pelajaran bahasa Arab. Adapun analisis datanya dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada keterkaitan program bahasa dan kemampuan berbicara secara akademis, program bahasa memiliki arah atau tujuan yang tidak terkait secara langsung dengan pembelajaran di pondok. Data yang dianalisis berasal dari 35 siswa persiapan bahasa I’dad Lughowi, yang meliputi nilai program bahasa dan nilai akademis di sekolah.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the difficulties of students in learning teaching materials are considered the main factor in these difficulties, because the material in the textbook seems stiff or tied to the main material in the curriculum so that it does not develop students creative thinking skills. Therefore, the researcher developed a book supporting Arabic writing skills based on the RAFT strategy (Role Audience Format Topic) for eighth grade students of MTs as an effort to foster students creative thinking skills in Arabic writing skills. This research uses qualitative and quantitative research with a research and development design (Research and Development). The research stages that were passed in this study only reached the fifth stage of the ten stages, namely potentials and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, and design revision. The results of this study are as follows. First, teachers and students want the development of books to support Arabic writing skills based on the RAFT strategy for grade VIII students of MTs. Second, this supporting book prototype contains vocabulary, grammar guidelines, examples of writing with RAFT strategy, writing exercises using RAFT strategy and pearls of wisdom. Third, the assessment of the content feasibility aspect obtained an average value of 90.56, the feasibility aspect of presentation was 90.95, the language feasibility aspect was 89.66, and the graphic feasibility aspect was 89.77. The average score of all aspects of book eligibility is 90.23 in the range 86-100 and is in category 4 (very suitable). Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kesulitan siswa dalam mempelajari bahan ajar dianggap sebagai faktor utama kesulitan. Hal ini dikarenakan materi pada buku teks pelajaran terkesan kaku atau terikat pada materi pokok dalam kurikulum sehingga kurang mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Oleh karena itu, peneliti mengembangkan sebuah buku penunjang keterampilan menulis bahasa Arab berbasis strategi RAFT (Role Audience Format Topic) untuk siswa kelas VIII MTs sebagai upaya menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam keterampilan menulis bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Tahapan penelitian yang dilalui dalam penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap lima dari sepuluh tahap, yaitu potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, dan revisi desain. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut. Pertama, guru dan siswa menghendaki adanya pengembangan buku penunjang keterampilan menulis bahasa Arab berbasis strategi RAFT untuk siswa kelas VIII MTs. Kedua, purwarupa buku penunjang ini memuat kosakata, pedoman gramatika, contoh menulis dengan strategi RAFT, latihan menulis dengan strategi RAFT dan kata mutiara. Ketiga, Penilaian aspek kelayakan isi memperoleh nilai rata-rata 90,56, aspek kelayakan penyajian 90,95, aspek kelayakan bahasa 89,66, dan aspek kelayakan kegrafikan 89,77. Nilai rata-rata dari keseluruhan aspek kelayakan buku adalah 90,23 pada rentang 86-100 dan termasuk kategori 4 (sangat sesuai).

Abstract

This research is motivated by the attitudes of class X SMA / MA students who are still adjusting to the new learning environment and not many students have studied Arabic so that students experience learning difficulties, especially in learning Arabic listening skills. This causes some students to lack a sense of responsibility for the learning material so that students do not pay attention to the teacher's explanation. Therefore, the development of learning methods for Arabic listening skills based on cooperative jigsaw type for class X SMA / MA students is needed so that students can have a sense of responsibility for their learning and that of others so that the learning objectives will be achieved properly. This study uses a type of qualitative research with a research and development design (Research and Development). The results of this study are as follows. First, teachers and students want the development of a jigsaw-type cooperative method for Arabic listening skills for class X SMA / MA. Second, the prototype of this method contains the background, assumptions, characteristics of the method, KI, KD, and indicators of Arabic listening skills for class X SMA / MA odd semester, learning steps, evaluation, and assessment criteria. Third, the assessment on the feasibility aspect of the presentation got a value of 44.5, the audio feasibility aspect got a value of 12.75, and the aspect of the feasibility of the method got a value of 30.75. The overall value of the aspects of this learning method is 88 in the very feasible category so that it can be used for learning Arabic listening skills for class X SMA / MA.

Abstract

Arabic in Indonesia is one of the foreign languages studied in formal and non-formal education institutions ranging from MI / SD, MTs / SMP, MA / SMA, to college level. When studying the language of a country, not separated to learn the culture. Intercultural education is a process whereby the broader cultural insights of learners, with the help of new information on other cultures and languages / languages and at the same time, raise children's awareness of their own cultural and language specific features (Madya, 2013: 194). Arabic learning can be successful if students have mastered four language skills (Iskandarwassid 2011: 226). These four skills include listening (mahaarah al-istima), speaking (mahaarah al-takallum), reading (mahaarah al-qira'ah), and writing (mahaarah al-Kitaabah). Language learning should be carried out hierarchically from listening skills to writing skills (Tarigan 1993: 34). Although learning Arabic in Indonesia has been going on for centuries, learning skills listening and speaking Arabic still lack sufficient attention and focus. Based on the above problems required a solution in the form of a variety of learning media that can be utilized by teachers and students in learning listening that is GAMA Arabic, a Game Listening Arabic in which not only teach and train related listening skills, but the content of education-based materials intercultural remembering to learn the language will not be apart from learning the language culture.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pentingnya PTK, meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Bahasa Arab, mengetahui guru Bahasa Arab Madrasah Tsanawiyah se-kabupaten Semarang dapat memahami langkah-langkah penyusunan PTK, meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Bahasa Arab, dan untuk mengetahui guru Bahasa Arab Madrasah Tsanawiyah dapat membuat proposal PTK tentang pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Madrasah Tsanawiyah masing-masing. Alternatif pemecahan masalah yang telah diterapkan adalah mengadakan pendidikan dan latihan (diklat). Simpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah (1) Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini sangat bermanfaat bagi guru-guru bahasa Arab Madrasah Tsanawiyah se-kabupaten Semarang. (2) Guru-guru bahasa Arab MTs memperoleh peningkatan pemahaman tentang pentingnya mengembangkan profesional guru dengan melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas. (3) Para guru juga mendapatkan bimbingan dalam menyusun proposal penelitian tindakan kelas, serta gambaran cara melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas pembelajaran bahasa Arab di sekolah masing-masing.

Abstract

This activitywas carried out with the aim to explain the importance of planning Arabic language learning based on Curriculum 2013 for teachers of Arabic in Madrasah Tsanawiyah throughout Kebumen district to improve the quality of Arabic language learning. It described the steps of the preparation of lesson planning (syllabus and lesson plan) based on curriculum 2013, and applied them in Arabic language teaching and learning activities in eachMadrasah Tsanawiyah. Alternative solution to these problems that have been applied in this community service was to conduct workshop and training. The conclusion that this activity was the implementation of community service was very useful for the Arabic language teachers in Madrasah Tsanawiyah throughout Kebumen district. With this training, teachers of Arabic Madrasah Tsanawiyahthroughout Kebumen district gained an increased understanding of the importance of the planninglessons based on the curriculum 2013 with the appropriate preparation of syllabi and lesson plans and gained solutions to some of the problems that they faced in learning the Arabic language, especially after the implementation of Curriculum 2013.

Abstract

This activity was conducted in order to explain the importance and purpose and benefits of the preparation of teaching materials based on the enrichment of the Arabic language and character education curriculum in 2013, describes the steps the preparation of teaching materials based on the enrichment of Arabic language, and the ability of teachers to develop language Arab Elementary School as the city of Semarang in preparing teaching materials based Arabic language enrichment and character education curriculum in 2013 and can apply them in the teaching and learning Arabic at Government Elementary School , respectively . Alternative solutions that have been implemented are providing education and training. The conclusions of this activity is that the implementation of the community service is very useful for the target audience in this case Arabic teachers Elementary School as the city of Semarang . With this training teachers of Arabic as Semarang MI can arrange teaching materials based on the enrichment of the Arabic language and character education curriculum in 2013 to improve the quality of Arabic learning and apply it in teaching and learning activities at the school, respectively.

Abstract

Language learning must be carried out hierarchically from listening skills to writing skills. Although learning Arabic in Indonesia has been going on for centuries, learning listening skills and speaking Arabic still lacks adequate attention and focus. This happens because there is no proper language learning media available. Teachers rarely use and even never use media in learning Arabic, especially speaking skills. Based on the above problems, a solution is needed in the form of a variety of learning media that can be used by teachers and students in speaking learning, namely MVR Abbas (Multimedia Virtual Reality Arabic Speaking Game), an Arabic Speaking Game which not only teaches and trains related speaking skills only, but also has the contents of the material based on intercultural education considering learning languages will not be separated from learning the culture of the language.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the introduction of Arabic at the Kindergarten/RA level, but the lack of effective and attractive media for the introduction of Arabic vocabularies in visual forms to children. The purposes of this reasearch are: (1) analyzing the teachers’ needs for the Lauhul Qilab (Flip Chart) media, (2) designing the prototype of Lauhul Qilab (Flip Chart) media, (3) analyzing the results of expert validation and improvements to the prototype of Lauhul Qilab (Flip Chart) media, and (4) analyzing the SWOT of the previous learning media with Lauhul Qilab (Flip Chart) media for the introduction of Arabic vocabularies. This research uses a Research and Development method. The stages passed in this research consist of five stages which encompass potentials and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, and design improvements. The subjects incorporated in this research are teachers and children of Kindergarten/RA in Semarang. The results of this research are: (1) the teachers want the development of 3-dimensional visual media for the introduction of Arabic vocabularies in group B in the Kindergarten. (2) The Lauhul Qilab (Flip Chart) media prototype is shaped like a sitting calendar which contains a front page title, instructions usage, material, and developer profile. (3) The results of expert validation include the aspects of material feasibility, language feasibility, presentation feasibility, and graphic feasibility with an overall average value of 87.20 (very feasible). (4) The Lauhul Qilab (Flip Chart) is one of the means of 3-dimensional visual media for the introduction of Arabic vocabulary that can complement the media that have been used by previous teachers, and it can increase children's creativity and interest in learning Arabic.
