Abstract

This study aims to know the development of the Arabic language textbook based character education in kindergarten Islam Gunungpati Semarang district, know the results and effectiveness of the development of the Arabic language textbook based character education in kindergarten Islam Gunungpati Semarang District. This research uses research development with the development of research procedures according to Borg and Gall From the research presented, some conclusions can be taken as follows: 1) Competency Standards, Basic Competency and indicators of achievement of competence which made researchers have adapted to thematic material contained in Government Regulation No. 58 of 2009 on Early Childhood Education Standards and adjusted to the decision of the Minister of National Education of Character-based Education and Culture. 2) The expert appraisal 18:33% excellent, 56.67% good, and 25% fair, and 3) the effectiveness of the textbook can be seen from the tests that have been done in TK A and B.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses penuntasan buta aksara al-Qur’an melalui metode Yanbu’a, dan mengetahui dampak atau manfaat dari upaya penuntasan buta aksara al-Qur’an melalui metode Yanbu’a bagi masyarakat Delikrejosari Kelurahan Kalisegoro Gunungpati Semarang. Alternatif pemecahan masalah yang diterapkan adalah dengan mengadakan pelatihan penuntasan buta aksara al-Qur’an dengan metode Yanbu’a bagi masyarakat Semarang. Simpulan dari pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah: (1) hasil uji kemampuan dasar diketahui bahwa sebagian besar dari ibu-ibu pengajian Delikrejosari Kelurahan Kalisegoro Gunungpati Semarang 10 orang atau 40% sudah dapat membaca al-Qur’an dengan lancar akan tetapi belum benar tajwidnya, yang sudah bisa membaca al-Qur’an tetapi belum lancar sebanyak 7 orang atau 28%, sedangkan yang dalam proses pelatihan diajarkan Buku Yanbu’a Jilid 5 sebanyak 3 orang atau 12%, dan yang dimulai dari buku Yanbu’a Jilid 6 sebanyak 5 orang atau 20%, (2) Kegiatan pelatihan penuntasan buta aksara Al-Qur’an ini sangat dibutuhkan dan bermanfaat bagi ibu-ibu pengajian Delikrejosari Kelurahan Kalisegoro Gunungpati Semarang.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang pentingnya perencanaan pembelajaran bahasa Arab berbasis pendidikan karakter dan budaya, mendeskripsikan tentang langkah-langkah penyusunan perencanaan pembelajaran (Silabus dan RPP) berbasis pendidikan karakter dan budaya, dan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan guru-guru Bahasa Arab dalam menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran berbasis pendidikan karakter dan budaya serta dapat mengaplikasikannya dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar bahasa Arab di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah masing-masing. Alternatif pemecahan masalah yang telah diterapkan dalam pengabdian ini adalah mengadakan pendidikan dan latihan (diklat). Simpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah: (1) Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini sangat bermanfaat bagi khalayak sasaran dalam hal ini guru-guru bahasa Arab Madrasah Ibtidaiyah se-kota Semarang, (2) Guru-guru bahasa Arab MI se-kota Semarang memperoleh peningkatan pemahaman tentang pentingnya perencanaan pembelajaran dan penanaman nilai-nilai karakter pada peserta didik dengan penyusunan silabus dan RPP yang benar, dan (3) Para guru mendapatkan pengalaman menyusun silabus dan RPP, dan penerapan kegiatannya di dalam kelas.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems in learning students' Arabic speaking skills. The learning methods used need to be more appropriate. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a learning method that can motivate, and add to student practice, one of which is by developing communicative methods so that students practice frequently and combining it with Gagne's learning theory which pays attention to the learning phases so students are motivated. The research design used the ADDIE model. The results of this study proved that students and teachers need methods that can increase students' motivation and courage and familiarize students with practicing communication. Prototypes of learning methods are recorded and arranged like lesson plans based on the 2013 and independent curriculum. The assessment results of method experts, linguists, and teachers as practitioners for the development of the method obtained a total score of 363, included in category with a very good predicate.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the introduction of Arabic at the Kindergarten/RA level, but the lack of effective and attractive media for the introduction of Arabic vocabularies in visual forms to children. The purposes of this reasearch are: (1) analyzing the teachers’ needs for the Lauhul Qilab (Flip Chart) media, (2) designing the prototype of Lauhul Qilab (Flip Chart) media, (3) analyzing the results of expert validation and improvements to the prototype of Lauhul Qilab (Flip Chart) media, and (4) analyzing the SWOT of the previous learning media with Lauhul Qilab (Flip Chart) media for the introduction of Arabic vocabularies. This research uses a Research and Development method. The stages passed in this research consist of five stages which encompass potentials and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, and design improvements. The subjects incorporated in this research are teachers and children of Kindergarten/RA in Semarang. The results of this research are: (1) the teachers want the development of 3-dimensional visual media for the introduction of Arabic vocabularies in group B in the Kindergarten. (2) The Lauhul Qilab (Flip Chart) media prototype is shaped like a sitting calendar which contains a front page title, instructions usage, material, and developer profile. (3) The results of expert validation include the aspects of material feasibility, language feasibility, presentation feasibility, and graphic feasibility with an overall average value of 87.20 (very feasible). (4) The Lauhul Qilab (Flip Chart) is one of the means of 3-dimensional visual media for the introduction of Arabic vocabulary that can complement the media that have been used by previous teachers, and it can increase children's creativity and interest in learning Arabic.

Abstract

Language learning must be carried out hierarchically from listening skills to writing skills. Although learning Arabic in Indonesia has been going on for centuries, learning listening skills and speaking Arabic still lacks adequate attention and focus. This happens because there is no proper language learning media available. Teachers rarely use and even never use media in learning Arabic, especially speaking skills. Based on the above problems, a solution is needed in the form of a variety of learning media that can be used by teachers and students in speaking learning, namely MVR Abbas (Multimedia Virtual Reality Arabic Speaking Game), an Arabic Speaking Game which not only teaches and trains related speaking skills only, but also has the contents of the material based on intercultural education considering learning languages will not be separated from learning the culture of the language.

Abstract

This research is driven by the challenges faced in Arabic writing skill instruction, where the performance has been suboptimal. One of the notable repercussions of these challenges is the students' reduced capacity to generate innovative ideas in their Arabic writing, subsequently hampering their critical thinking abilities in composing essays. In the realm of Arabic writing instruction, students must undergo a multistep process, encompassing word/sentence analysis, idea generation, and essay composition. Hence, there arises a need for a methodology capable of stimulating students' capacity for analytical, creative, and practical thinking. The research inquiries in this investigation encompass: (1) the assessment of teachers' and students' requirements concerning the adoption of a learning approach based on the Triarchy of Intelligence for enhancing Arabic writing skills among seventh-grade MTs students, (2) the development of a prototype for a Triarchy of Intelligence-based learning method for bolstering Arabic writing skills among seventh-grade MTs students, and (3) the expert and teacher validation, along with subsequent revisions of the prototype's design for a learning method rooted in the Triarchy of Intelligence, intended to enhance Arabic writing skills among seventh-grade MTs students. This research utilizes qualitative research methods, employing a research and development design. The research phases covered in this study only progress up to the fifth stage out of ten planned stages, which include the identification of potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, and design revision. The outcomes of this research can be summarized as follows. Firstly, both teachers and students express a desire to implement a development of learning methods based on the Triarchy of Intelligence to enhance Arabic writing skills among seventh-grade MTs students. Secondly, the prototype of this learning method encompasses the rationale behind its creation, key competencies and performance indicators for Arabic writing skills in the second semester of the seventh grade, instructional steps, and assessment criteria. Lastly, the evaluation of the material/content's appropriateness yields a score of 91.9, while the appropriateness of the presentation receives a score of 94.4. The language aspect is rated at 45.66, and the method's feasibility aspect attains a score of 104.48. Consequently, the overall assessment of this learning method stands at 336.44, classified as "adequate" with a commendable designation. Hence, it can be effectively utilized in enhancing the writing skills of seventh-grade MTs students.
