Abstract

Generally rubber farmer in Kampung Baru has low background knowledge, it is caused by several of community in Kampung Baru did not continue their study on high level. To create nationality life that has high background knowledge from a generation to other generation, of course it will be a important problem, especially on rubber farmer perfection on their child education. The result of this research shown that society perception toward education in someone’s life was not same. It can be seen that there is a different opinion. There is a someone who gave a judgment that someone standard of living improvement just can be reached from the knowledge which they got from education. In other side there is another opinion which said that standard of living improvement is gotten by the effort and hard working without education that they got at school. From the research, the researcher found that there were 15 rubber farmer became researcher’s informant, there are 10 people (66,67%) rubber farmer think that their children education as asset for their future, beside that there are 5 people (33,33%) rubber farmer think that their children education didn’t give influence for their children future. Based on the result of this research that had done, it can be conclude that rubber community perception on education consist of positive and negative perspective. Positive perspective can be seen from several of rubber farmer more important child’s education, so that they will work hard for their child education till higher level of study. Negative perspective from rubber farmer can be seen from several of their life assume that child’s education only as something that spent time and money, because education is assumed as a way to get knowledge and a job, whereas it also can be gotten by join to help their parent’s vocation.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the perception of gold prospectors Women Against Childhood Education at the Nagari Mundam Sakti Kecamatan IV Nagari Kabupaten Sijunjung. Formulation of the problem: how the perception of women towards the education of children of gold miners in the Nagari Mundam Sakti Kecamatan IV Nagari Kabupaten Sijunjung and the factors that influence womens perceptions of gold miners on their childrens education. as for research purposes are: to describe womens perceptions of the education of children of gold miners in the Nagari Mundam Sakti Kecamatan IV Nagari Kabupaten Sijunjung and megetahui factors that influence these perceptions. The method used in this paper are: a qualitative descriptive method of analysis. Informant selection techniques done by purposive sampling. Methods of data collection in this study used observation, interview and documentation. The data has been collected and analyzed interactively. Data analysis was performed in this study using the iterative developed by Miles and Huberman. The results of this study show that : 1 ) Perception women gold miners against the education of children in the Nagari Mundam Sakti Kecamatan IV Nagari Kabupaten Sijunjung, the school considers it important is that educated women gold miners who have graduated from high school and college, the school considers it is not important is the 60 % of women are gold miners who only completed primary school and junior high. They assume school just for the rich and who have needs that much to go to school. And the high school will add to unemployment and will cost you a lot. 2 ) factors that influence womens perceptions of the education that gold miners internal factors: physiological ladies gold miners, gold miners interest in women very less for studing children because they see school is still a lot of people who become unemployed, the experience of someone in the past had to send children but it does not work. Then the external factors, namely: the size and placement of less parental relationship with the school, and the intensity and strength of the stimulus that urge someone to motivate children to school.

Abstract

The development of Institution Pencak Silat Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate (PSHT) in Kenagarian Lubuak Gadang Kecamatan Sangir Kabupaten Solok Selatan (1991-2010). History Education of Program. STKIP PGRI West Sumatra. Padang 2014. This thesis discuss about the development of Institution the Pencak Silat Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate (PSHT) in Kenagarian Lubuak Gadang Kecamatan Sangir Kabupaten Solok Selatan (1991-2010). To facilitate this research, the problem can be formulated as follows: (1) How does the beginning of Institution Pencak Silat  PSHT in Kenagarian Lubuak Gadang (2) How does the development of Institution Pencak Silat PSHT in Kenagarian Lubuak Gadang. (3) How does the impact of the establishment PSHT on the existence of the Java in Kenagarian Lubuak, Sangir. The purposes of this study are (1) to describe the beginning of establishment PSHT (2) To describe the historical development of Institution Pencak Silat PSHT. (3) To describes the impact of the establishment PSHT on the existence of the Java in Kenagarian Lubuak Gadang, Sangir. The method used in this study is the historical method. The method consists of the following four stages: (1) Heuristic is a collect the data, looking for the source and concludes to library study and interviews. (2) Criticism source, in order to obtain the facts of history. (3) Interpretation, the obtained data analyzed and interpreted with connecting and comparing the observed facts so the fact that ready to be served. (4) Historiography, writing in the form of scientific papers after collect the data and facts that really accurate and valid then write in the form of a thesis.This study describes the results : ( 1 ) The beginning of establishment PSHT in Kenagarian Lubuak Gadang is because request of citizen of Kenagaian Lubuak Gadang, Sangir and because there is an intensive communication between the members of PSHT in Java with members of PSHT who migrated to West Sumatra , especially in Kenagarian Lubuak Sangir, solok selatan. (2) The development of PSHT start from development of the Organizational Structure which structured well, and development of leaders are always changing but still make PSHT always evolving and achievement, and then the number of its graduate’s students is always evolving every endorsement convening every 2 years once. (3) The impact of the existence of the Java PSHT in Kecamatan Sangir is the creation of a sense of brotherhood among the Minang with Java, not even a conflict between the two sides.

Abstract

ABSTRACTIncreasingly volatile economic crisis in 1998 which lead to uncontrolled widespread panic to the people of Indonesia, is no exception Sawahlunto. With the coal mining company in Indonesia Ombilin oldest. Can directly improve the economy Sawahlunto. With the government regulations that allow the city / county on investments including mining permit. Thus emerged the CV or KP ( Mining ). So the impact of the presence of coal scavengers that create jobs and increase their incomes. With the goal is ( 1 ) knowing the background of Coal Scavengers Sawahlunto chose the profession, ( 2 ) determine the socio-economic life of Coal Scavengers. Based on the above research objective methods used in this study is the historical method. Producer encountered during this study were : ( 1 ) Heuristic , ( 2 ) Criticism Sources , ( 3 ) Interpretation, ( 4 ) Historiography ( presentation of research results in the form of a scientific paper or thesis. Research shows that the background is a scavenger chose the profession because of a desire to meet the necessities of life, the absence of other jobs, in addition to the economic life of coal scavengers depending on the circumstances when there is a CV that opening of new mines, they can still earn a living. Level of well-being can not be separated from scavengers salary or wages received. Based on the research it can be concluded, that the income derived by coal scavengers ranged from Rp 350.000, - to Rp 400,000. Coal scavengers social life is also good, both among fellow pickers, truckers up to the owner of the mine. Keywords : social , economic, coal scavengers

Abstract

ABSTRACTIndividuals and communities have different perceptions of the education, as well as in rice farming communities in general have a low educational background. In order to achieve a good education then this is a very important thing to know, because look at the extent to which the views or perceptions of rice farmers and community participation towards their childs education. The purpose of this study was to determine the socio-economic situation and describe Rice Farmers Society Perception and Participation Rice Farmers Against Children Education in Kenagarian Koto Hilalang lemur Solok district. The research conducted by using qualitative research methods, the data obtained by observation and interviews, while data analysis is done in 3 ways, namely, reduction (filtering the data as required), tabulation (grouping the answers into the form of a table) and Conclusion (writing the analysis into form of research). The results that First : Public Perception Rice Farmers Against Children Education in Koto Kenagarian Hilalang lemur Solok district , based on the level of public knowledge of the childs education is very good . This is evident from the level of knowledge of rice farming communities to education , the percentage reached 88 % of respondents . Second : Rice Farmers Society Participation in Koto Kenagarian Hilalang seen from the high sense of responsibility to contribute to society in their childrens education , both moral and material support . Such as rice farming community involvement with the school reached 95.2 % , taking the time to learn to control the development of the child reaches 76 % . And providing motivation or support to a child to school is 92 % . Third : Economic Social Life Masyarakaat Rice Farmers in Koto Kenagarian Hilalang lemur Solok district , seen against the backdrop of life in the economy generally they have a medium level down economy . This has always been an obstacle for farmers to continue their education . As seen from the income of the farmers are quite low , which is the average income of rice farmers in one harvest 4,200,000 ( Four Million Two Hundred Thousand) . In general, rice farmers trying to meet with their childrens school expenses for other businesses such as farming , animal husbandry and trad. Keywords: Perceptions, Participation, farming, Children Education, Society, economic.

Abstract

ABSTRACT One of the areas in West Sumatra Transmigration is Rita Sarbainidikecamatan Valley Village GumantiSolok . The village is a village Transmigration opened in 1997 that the inauguration was attended by the transform ( Minister of Transmigration ) SiswonoYudohusodo when it ( 1988-1993 ) and the Solok regent GamawanFauzi , who served from the years ( 1995-2005 ). Field research is useful for resources that are primary and secondary . The primary source is done by way of interviews, and secondary sources found through library research include Gumanti Valley District and Solok Yearbook Yearbook as well as some relevant books about the transmigration. These results indicate that , before the transmigration program was held in SariakBayang , which is about 1996 people so far away from the progress of time because the forest is wilderness , farming pattern they use is still traditional , Once they lived in Rita Sarbaini , traditional farming practices are not can be applied again , they should be able to utilize the land that was given to the seed received from the government . Conclusions of this thesis can be seen from the development of migrants in how to get along , organizational , collaboration , and interaction with the people who run smoothly . In addition, the social and cultural changes for the transmigration , they left the old culture and the new culture of wear as it is run by a native of Rimbo Data .
