Linggasari Village is one of the villages located in Kembaran sub-district, Banyumas district, Central Java. Agriculture in Linggasari Village is quite advanced, especially in the Bengkuang commodity which is an icon of the Linggasari village. The potential of Jicama agricultural products is higher than other agricultural products such as rice, corn and soybeans. Abstract

The potential development of mint plants in the industrial business has a very promising opportunity as a processed product for packaged tea by Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Delima in Banyurip, Pekalongan City. Various obstacles were found in the management and processing of mint plant cultivation into mint tea processed products. The community service program aims to overcome these problems through the propagation of mint plant raw materials so that it can produce quality mint plants. In addition, the existence of better processing of mint leaves, namely into mint leaf tea in dry form, will increase the selling value of mint leaves with marketing strategies carried out online and offline. The implementation of the service work program is carried out in three main stages; pre-production, production and post-production. The mint tea products produced were introduced to KWT members simultaneously with the optimization of the management and processing of mint plants into derivative products which were intensively emphasized through interactive counseling, training on mint product processing and packaging. Other steps taken are developing the quantity and quality of mint plants, processing mint tea, and marketing. Thus, the production of processed mint tea can run in a sustainable manner so as to improve the economy of the local community. Keywords: Banyurip, KWT, mint, tea

Abstract

Many married couples in Indonesia have carried out long-distance marriages. It happens because the couple is working or going to school. This study aimed to analyze social support and coping strategies and their effect on the strength of families undergoing long-distance marriages. The research was carried out for nine months, namely February-October 2020. The number of respondents in this study was 60 wives who lived in the ex-Pekalongan Residency, namely Batang Regency, Pekalongan City and Regency, Pemalang Regency, Tegal City, and Regency, and Brebes Regency. This research uses a non-probability sampling method with a voluntary sampling technique. They are collecting data using an online questionnaire, namely through a google form. To analyze the influence of variables used, a multiple linear regression test: results, family support and family strength in the medium category. Wives are more likely to use coping strategies that focus on emotions than those that focus on problems. Based on the regression test results, the husband's length of education has a significant positive effect on family strength in long-distance marriages. The research implies that efforts to improve education, especially for husbands, are needed because it affects family strength.
