Abstract

Social distance forces all sectors to innovate, one of which is in the world of education. Where the government asks schools to implement distance learning using online learning. Online learning activities are much more difficult to do than face-to-face learning because they have to utilize several technologies in their application and are able to use appropriate models, strategies, media, teaching materials and assessments. This situation is a challenge, especially for teachers. Therefore, optimal readiness is needed in the implementation of online learning, especially in elementary schools located in the watershed (Watershed Area). This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach that aims to describe and describe the readiness of teachers in online learning. The research subjects were 24 teachers from three schools using random sampling technique. The results obtained from the implementation of learning from these three schools are that the preparations made by teachers are still not optimal, due to several factors, namely the community environment and parents / guardians of students who are less supportive, facilities and infrastructure in schools that are still lacking and human resources are inadequate. there are some schools that have not been able to carry out online learning activities well. So that later it is hoped that there will be improvements and problem solving solutions from the less than optimal preparation for the implementation of online learning in several schools.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the principal's subjective experience in internalizing Handep values which include harmony, adaptation, reason, dedication, efficiency and unity based on the Huma Betang philosophy of the Dayak people in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. The philosophy of Huma Betang, as a symbol of longhouses symbolizing communal living, mutual assistance and social balance. Using an interpretive phenomenology approach, this research was carried out at SD Negeri 2 Palangka. Data were collected through semi-structural in-depth interviews recorded and transcribed, supplemented by participant observation in the school environment. Data analysis was carried out thematically with source triangulation to ensure validity. The findings reveal that the experience of internalizing Handep not only enriches leadership identity, but also creates an inclusive school climate. Recommendations include the integration of the Huma Betang philosophy in the national leadership curriculum to support continuing education.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine " The Principal's Strategy Based on the Noble Values of the Huma Betang Philosophy in Improving Teacher Performance at Palangka 2 Public Elementary School ". The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The research subjects were the principal, vice principal, teachers, and supervisors. The results show: 1) The principal's strategy in improving teacher abilities is based on the Huma Betang philosophy through developing teacher abilities in the learning process, 2) The principal's strategy in improving teacher discipline is: a) Enforcing teacher discipline, b) Increasing teacher behavior standards, c) Implementing all regulations, 3) The principal's strategy in improving teacher motivation is to create a harmonious situation, provide all necessary equipment and provide rewards and punishments, 4) The principal's strategy in increasing teacher commitment is: holding training, bringing tutors to the school and providing opportunities for continuing education, placing teachers according to their fields, and holding meetings at the beginning of each semester.
