Abstract

Institut Bisnis dan Informatika Stikom Surabaya (Stikom Surabaya) is one of the private universities in Surabaya within the scope of Kopertis VII. The problems focus in Stikom Surabaya is on Technical Implementing Units (UPT) that responsible in serving the practical work. Currently, the existing system has not run well, so that information is not conveyed to Head of Study Program, Apprenticeship Supervisors, and Lecturer can’t monitor the progress of student who do practical work. Students of practical work who is too long in the implementation so that when they parents ask about the workmanship to Head of Study Program, Apprenticeship Supervisors, and Lecturer, they can’t said about the truth with the existing practical work . Mentoring schedule of apprenticesjip supervisor is not easy to be known by students so they have to meet apprenticeship supervisor for asking about the schedule. The students do not always write down the due date and the description of mentoring process directly on mentoring form. The problem above has been solved by creating analysis and design of monitoring application of work guidance at Institut Bisnis dan Informatika Stikom Surabaya. This application has the required data function, generating information and reports related to practical work. The application provides notifications by e-mail to students, academic advisor, apprenticeship supervisor, and PPKP staff. Based on testing results, analysis and deseign of the application, the resulting report is the progress development practical work, progress of the extention students, and practical work guidance card. Application also produce information related to practical work.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems faced by the Slum City Government Program (Kotaku) in evaluating employee performance. The first problem is often the inaccuracy in distributing employee performance appraisal documents, the second problem is the amount of paper used in conducting one employee performance appraisal, the third problem is the difficulty in filing and searching documents on employee performance evaluation results. Then built a web-based application to be more efficient in supporting the distribution process, reduce costs for paper use and facilitate archiving and search results of employee performance appraisals. In addition, web-based applications do not need to be installed on every computer or laptop. Then this application will be supported by a performance appraisal method that has been implemented by the Kotaku which refers to the Work Order Letter (SPK) Guidelines. Based on the results of the trials that have been carried out, the application of employee performance appraisal on city government programs without slum (my city) makes it easy to evaluate employee performance which previously takes almost 1 week now is only 2 days, this is due to the employee performance assessment system website.Keywords: Assessment, Performance, City, Website

Abstract

PT. Jesindo Prima Sejati is a company engaged in the sale of interior goods and been establish since 1990. The marketing process is currently done by door to door and over the phone, which caused less extensive marketing reach. The process of ordering and payment is recorded in the book so that the administration had difficulty in searching the required data. The customer is not able to monitor the status of orders and the company owner difficulty in obtaining information related to the sale. Based on the existing problems, then PT. Jesindo Prima Sejati requires web-based sales information system. Sales information system that is built has a function to record and store the necessary data and produce information and reports related to the sale. Sales information system also provides notification through the system, email, and SMS. The reports is needed, is a report of the sale, report of accounts receivable, report of goods most often ordered, report of sales volume per goods per period, report of goods most ordered by region, report of goods most ordered per customer and the report of the history per customer. Sales information system also generates notifications about the price offer, payment, invoice, order completion and delivery of goods. Based on the results of system testing performed together with PT. Jesindo Prima Sejati, This system can help PT. Jesindo Prima Sejati and consumers. It is proof by the results of system testing conducted and results of data processing by 88% which is included in the excellent category.

Abstract

PT. Kelola Mina Laut is a company that engages in seafood industry. This company has been exporting their processed products to several countries in Southeast Asia, America, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, China, Korea, Japan and many other countries in the African region. The export process in this company involving several divisions, marketing departments, export division, and documentation division. The complexity of the export process which accompanied by the many parties that interact in this process often causes delays in the administrative process export, this is caused by: 1) employee who related to export administration processes was on duty outside, 2) supporting documents for export administration process has not been submitted to other involved departments. Based on these problems, it was built a web-based export administrative management application that implements administrative workflow system that is supported by push notification techniques such as SMS Gateway to handle the existing problems.

Abstract

The diversity of the community in Surabaya can be quite diverse. In addition to the public consists of Surabaya city itself, also consists of non-Surabaya. The Surabaya city communities would require public facilities such as hospitals, bank, or university. Non-residents of Surabaya is not easy to find the desired public facilities, given that non-Surabaya residents do not know the location of public facilities in the city of Surabaya.Existence of the desired public facilities as well as the route to be taken. To support this capability, this system will be developed on Android-based mobile devices for supporting feature Global Positioning System (GPS) and mobile Google Map (mGMap). In order for the location of public facilities as well as the route to be taken by the more accurate method used Ant Colony, Ant Colony method work is by adding pheromone on edge-edge which is the best part of the tour are determined from the start of the algorithm is executed. The advantage of this method is capable of determining the shortest distance to the desired location of public facilities accurately by using more parameters. Some of the most influential parameter is the number of cycles, the number of routes, as well as the number of nodes used.With this system people are expected to know the location of Surabaya public facilities appropriately and accurately. In addition, the system developed along the shortest route to the place of public facilities desired by the user and the shortest alternative route. Keyword: Android, Route, Location, GPS

Abstract

One academic activities carried out by the Institute of Business and Information Stikom Surabaya is a lectures scheduling activities. Facts that occurred in the preparation of the current class schedule and the process requires considerable time. This occurs because the need to classify and sort the data written using paper media and draw up a schedule with the help of Microsoft Excel. The difficulties encountered when preparing the class schedule is the schedule should be adjusted to the terms and policies that have been determined by matching them one by one. Based on these problems, made a lecture scheduling application using Genetic Algorithms. Lecture scheduling application with regard to the data compiled estimates of the number of participants of each course, the data subject to be held, the data capacity of each course, data on the number of lecturers, the data competence of lecturers, lecturers teaching load data, and data classrooms. The results showed that the application of this lectures scheduling has can produce in one semester class schedules in accordance with the existing terms and policies. Results of testing for lectures scheduling as many as 75 classes obtained the best parameter to the value of chromosome 30, the amount of generation of 30, the probability of crossover and mutation probabilities 70 30. By using the best parameters of the test results produced by the class schedule with an average success rate of 86% to 30 trials.

Abstract

Abstract : PT. E-T-A Indonesia is one of E-T-A German subsidiary that supply a circuit breaker for electro-mechanical and electro for a variety of industrial applications. At now, all departments that handle the claims should always check and open a files that integrated by Local Area Network (LAN) to determine the claims that will be done. Besides, the information from claims monitoring has not available yet. That problem can make the claims handling process has been delayed and can decrease the impact level on customer satisfaction. Based on that problems, this research will design and implement claims handling control information system to provide the monitoring claims information using administrative workflow systems methods that can help to control the timing of the claims handling process. This information system is build based on web. Web is used to provide the monitoring information claims to be accessible anywhere and anytime. The research result showed that handling control information systems can help PT. E-T-A Indonesia in controlling and monitoring the claims. Claims handling control information system is also able to help PT. E-T-A Indonesia to entry the claim data in an integrated way.

Abstract

The Plosoklaten Health Center supervises 11 midwives who are placed in 9 villages in Plosoklaten District. Each midwife has a place of practice called Private Practice Midwife (BPS). Services available at BPS include: Maternal and Child Health Services (KIA), women's reproductive health services, family planning (KB), and the Integrated Elderly Service Post (Posyandu Lansia). MCH services include: Pregnant women, postpartum mothers, and the Integrated Service Post for Under Five Years (Posyandu Toddler). The problem that occurs today is that each patient has more than one treatment card. Currently one medical card is only used for one service, while a patient can get more than one service at BPS. The registration process carried out at BPS is carried out for each service. If the patient does not bring a medical card, the midwife will look for a medical record card based on the patient's name, the process takes ±10 minutes. At the time of making the Local Area Monitoring report (PWS) if there is more than one midwife in one village, the midwives must complete each other's forms and this recording process lasts ±3 days. The solution given to this problem is to create a Web-based BPS Service Administration Information System at the Plosoklaten Health Center. Making this application using the Waterfall Model development method. This application has features to register patients, print patient treatment cards that can be used in all services, record examination results, and generate reports. Based on the results of testing the BPS service administration information system, which was carried out using the Black Box Testing Method, the application can create medical card numbering that can be used for all services, can be used to record examination results, and can generate reports to the head of the puskesmas. This can be proven by testing as many as 73 test cases which are 100% successful.

Abstract

PT Sasmita Abadi Gloves is the first manufacturing company in Indonesia that exports the glove industry. At PT Sasmita Abadi Gloves there are 2 parts, namely the production section and the non-production section. Gloves PT Sasmita Abadi requires new employee candidates every year, therefore, to get competent and quality employees, the company needs to carry out a process of embracing prospective employees. During the recruitment process carried out by PT Sasmita Abadi Gloves, it experienced several obstacles, one of which was that the incoming application was still in the form of physical or paper data and the applicant had to come directly to the company to deliver or submit the application file. The solution that can be given is to make an employee recruitment and selection application, because this application can help HRD solve existing obstacles. Based on the results of the application trial, it produces a report recording the results of an employee search. This application generates calculations using the graphic rating scale method, where the photographic selection assessment uses a scale of 1 to 5. System testing uses the black box testing method which produces information that the application is appropriate and has run according to its function, while for testing using the user acceptance test in general the results testing is acceptable to users.

Abstract

The Integrated Police Service Center or often abbreviated as SPKT is a part of the police to provide services to the community, in the form of receiving and first handling reports or complaints. So far, the reporting process carried out by the community is still done manually, by coming directly to the SPKT Polres Badung so it’s a hassle for the community and the storage of physical documents from various incoming reports continues to grow so it requires a lot of space. So in this study a web-based application was built that could make it easier for the public to report and help SPKT Polres Badung to cut down the storage space for physical reporting documents. This application uses the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with a waterfall model which consists of the processes of communication, planning, modeling, construction, and deployment. Based on the results of the trial and evaluation of the system for the application built, it can be concluded that this application can help the public report online and assist the SPKT Polres Badung administrator in managing reporting and storing reporting documents digitally.
