Abstract

This research examines husband and wife relations in Javanese society using the perspective of legal theory as a manifestation of the national spirit, known as Volksgeist. The relationship between husband and wife can be understood as a reflection of cultural values and the collective spirit of society which emphasizes harmony, balance of roles and spirituality and prioritizes the involvement of the extended family in maintaining traditional values. This research shows that these relationships are often based on the principle of complementarity, where both parties contribute to creating inner harmony within the family. However, social changes triggered by urbanization, education, and globalization encouraged the adaptation of Volksgeist values to modern norms. So a legal formation process is needed that absorbs local wisdom and cultural values to create regulations that are relevant to the needs of society. The incarnation of law is needed as a link between tradition and modernity. In conclusion, husband and wife relations from the Volksgeist perspective reflect cultural values that prioritize harmony and balance of roles, but still adapt to the social changes that occur. Law as a manifestation of the national spirit plays an important role in maintaining the continuity of cultural values while providing contextual justice in husband and wife relationships.

Abstract

The resolution of Sharia economic disputes through Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) in Indonesia has been growing in parallel with advancements in digital technology. In this context, the principle of confidentiality has become a crucial aspect to protect the privacy and security of the disputing parties' information. This research aims to analyze the implementation of the principle of confidentiality in ODR within arbitration institutions in Indonesia and identify the challenges and solutions related to data protection. The methodology employed is a sociological-juridical approach, utilizing primary data collected through interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), and documentation, alongside secondary data from relevant journals and regulations. The findings indicate that, while institutions such as Basyarnas and BANI have implemented various protocols to uphold confidentiality, including the use of secure digital platforms and strict regulations on data access, significant challenges remain, notably the potential for data breaches due to cyberattacks or technical negligence. Furthermore, inconsistencies in laws and legal interpretations have created legal uncertainty, which in turn impacts privacy protection. The contribution of this research is to provide recommendations for strengthening digital security standards, consistent policies, and raising awareness of the importance of confidentiality in ODR, thereby creating legal certainty and enhancing trust in the online resolution of Sharia economic disputes.

Abstract

AbstractStunting is a serious global health challenge, especially in developing countries like Indonesia, where the prevalence is still high, around 30-40%. This condition not only affects children's physical growth, but also impacts cognitive development, academic achievement, and economic capabilities in adulthood, thereby contributing to a continuous cycle of poverty. Despite the implementation of various medical and nutritional interventions, stunting rates remain high, indicating the need for a more holistic and integrated approach. This research aims to examine the relevance and priority of Surah An-Nisa' Verse 9 in the context of stunting prevention in Indonesia with a focus on the integration of Islamic religious values in public health interventions. The method used was qualitative with a thematic interpretation approach, where data was obtained through a study of Al-Qur'an interpretation literature as well as interviews with health and religious experts in TK Darun Najah Kedemungan Village, Pasuruan City. The research results show that internalizing the values of Surah An-Nisa' Verse 9 can increase parents' awareness and responsibility for children's health and nutrition, which has significant potential in reducing the prevalence of stunting. In conclusion, integrating religious values in public health programs has great potential to strengthen the effectiveness of stunting prevention interventions, making them more culturally and spiritually relevant to Indonesian society. Keywords: Stunting, Surah An-Nisa' Verse 9, Internalization of Values, Public HealthAbstrakStunting merupakan tantangan kesehatan global yang serius, terutama di negara berkembang seperti Indonesia, di mana prevalensinya masih tinggi, yaitu sekitar 30-40%.
