Abstract

The background of this research is the low gross motor skills, especially in dancing activities in children aged 5-6 years in the North Abianbuh Region. This study aims to find out whether the implementation of the Pendet Dance can improve children's gross motor skills in the North Abiandinding region in 2020. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were 3 children. The data collection method used is the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the study show that the Improvement of Children's Gross Motor through Pendet Dance for Children Aged 5-6 years (case study) in the North Abiandinding region in 2020 can be said to be developing according to expectations (BSH). This can be seen from the research instrument, namely 10 Pendet dance movements sequentially through 4 research stages. 1st stage the child's average value reaches 33.3% 2nd stage the child's average value reaches 66.6% to 70% 3rd stage the child's average value reaches 80%, up to 83.3% and the 4th stage the average value -the average child reaches 100%. From this study it can be concluded that the application of the Pendet Dance can improve children's gross motor skills in the North Abiandinding region in 2020.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of creativity through the media of plastic straws for Group B children in at TK (kindergarden) Adrikna Apitaik, Pringgabaya Sub-District, East Lombok District. The purpose of this research was finding out how to develop creativity through plastic straws for children in group B at TK Adrikna Apitaik, Pringgabaya Sub-District, East Lombok District. This research is development research which is a type of descriptive qualitative research. The Subject in this study were 10 people in grup B. Data Collection techniques in this study were observation and documentation techniques. Technical analysis of the data in this study was qualitative descriptive. The resuls showed that the achievement of creativity development through plastic straw media in group B children increased by 48.36% from the average value in the pre-test test of 35.29% included in the criteria for not developing (BB), and the average value of post-test was 83.29% included in the category of developing as expected (BSH). The conclusion is the subject experienced the development of creativity through the media of plastic straws in group B children at TK Adrikna Apitaik, Pringgabaya Sub-District, East Lombok District.

Abstract

The early childhood development period is the most appropriate period to develop all the potential possessed by early childhood. A child is an individual figure who is undergoing a development process that occurs rapidly and is fundamental to the next life process of the child. Along with the goal of early childhood education to develop all the potential possessed by children, the home is expected to be a place for children to develop attitudes, knowledge, skills, and creativity that can be used as children’s capital in adjusting to their environment and for further child development. The lack of interesting learning activities to develop creativity in children at Al-Fajri Early Childhood Education was the background of this research, so that the purpose of this study was to develop the creativity of group B children aged 5-6 years through collages with synthetic materials. This research method was development research, with three stages of development. Each of which consisted of planning, implementation, observation and development analysis stages. The subjects in this study were 7 children in group B. The data collection methods were observation and photo, documentation. Data analysis used was descriptive qualitative analysis. The result showed that collage activities could develop children’s creativity. This could be seen from the final results of the assessment of group B children scoring 46,1% in the pre-test and 91,7% inte post-test.

Abstract

There is a lack of social skills so that children are not able to interact well with their peers in Pembina Kec. Woha Kindergarten. Therefore the purpose of this study is to improve children's social skills through the traditional congklak game in group B at Pembina Kec. State Kindergarten. Woha Academic Year 2021. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were group B children, which consisted of 10 children. Data collection techniques in this study using observation techniques, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study used descriptive analysis and statistical analysis. This research was conducted with several stages of observation including the first observation and the second observation. The results of the research on the 1st observation are that the child gets a score of 2 on several achievement indicators where the average value is 38.15% and this value is in the Starting to Develop (MB) category. Then an evaluation of the undeveloped indicators was carried out, including providing material reinforcement and giving enthusiasm and appreciation to the children then there was an increase in the second observation, the child got a score of 4 on several achievement indicators and the average score increased to 91.13% and the score in the Very Well Developed (BSB) category. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that playing congklak can improve the social skills of group B children in the Pembina State Kindergarten, Woha District.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to develop children's ability to recognize the concept of numbers. The research subjects were 15 children in group A at PAUD Rinjani Unram. The instruments used in this research are recognizing number symbols, connecting objects with numbers and comparing. This study uses the Kemmis and McTaggart model of action research, in two cycles consisting of 2 actions in the first cycle and 2 actions in the second cycle. Collection techniques in this study using interview techniques, observation and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the development of the ability to recognize the concept of numbers in the first cycle for the Starting to Develop (MB) category was 40% and the Developing According to Expectations (BSH) category increased to 20% and in the second cycle there was an increase of 47% for the Developing According to Expectations (BSH) category. ) and in the Very Well Developed (BSB) category of 33% so that the final data is obtained, namely the average completeness value of 80%. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that through the media of number pockets in group A children are able to improve the ability to recognize the concept of numbers.
